The first thing I feel when I join the waking world once more is something pressing into me from behind. Turning my head a little to get a look, i see Twilight snuggled up to my back with a content smile, But i can't stay here because i need to go check on Celly to see if she is doing fine... or if her changes have started. God have mercy on her castle staff if they have.
Slowly untangling myself from the mulberry mare's hooves i put my jacket and gloves on and collect my gun and spare mags, planning on getting them modified to fire magic instead of bullets. Once i exit the library i take to the air and make a bee line towards the mountain city in the distance. Once i get closer, the panicked screams start to reach my ears... this doesn't sound good. a few of the guards come over to me with worry etched onto their faces.
"Celestia is on a rampage isn't she?" I ask the first guard that makes it to me.
"Yes, how did you know though?" The guardspony replied.
"Well I'm the reason she is, in the meantime we need to evacuate all nonessential personnel from the castle grounds while I hunt her down and restrain her. Once I have her restrained we need to move her to the dungeons for a period of time while she finishes her transformation." After I finish explaining this to the guardspony the rest look at me funny.
Finding her wasn't all that difficult, it was capturing her that was nearly impossible to do without extreme measures. At one point she turned her rage on me and I had to actually fight back. Leaving me with no choice but to get serious and try to take her down, or at least knock her unconscious long enough to stop her from using magic to escape. Thankfully one of the guards gave me a magic blocking ring to put on her horn.
Using a medium kenetic blast I slammed her into a wall headfirst, which she shook off like it was nothing. Once I saw this I knew knocking her out wasn't an option and I would have to incapacitate her another way... a way I really didn't want to do because it would cause her extreme pain when she regained her senses. I would have to break off her horn... god just thinking it causes me internal pain. It was as if someone were to snap all my fingers off one by one.
While me and Celestia were trading hits with magic, Luna arrived and looked at us in alarm.
"Luna! Hold her down so I can get this ring on her horn!" I yell over the sounds of brick and stone being blasted to pieces.
Once she sees the look on her sisters face she nods to me and charges her magic and gets ready to pin her sister down. Once she releases the built up magic Celestia flies at a wall and sticks to it, allowing me to get close and slip the plain looking ring on her horn. However to both mine and Luna's surprise the ring shatters and she breaks free of Luna's magical hold. Now I'm left with no choice but to break her horn and drag her to the dungeon myself.
Once the two of us got done chasing her down I had Luna restrain her again, while Celestia was pinned I walked up to her and gripped her horn in my right hand. With every last bit of my power I snap it about halfway down leaving roughly five inches of it attached. Luna gasped upon seeing this and Essex her sister while I watched her writhe in agony on the cold stone floor. Once she stops thrashing so violently I pick her up and have Luna lead me to the dungeons.
When we arrive at a suitable place I enter the cell and set her down on the cot at the back of the room. "And now we wait." I say to no one in general, but Luna was still watching me from the other side of the bars.
"We wait for what exactly?" She asks with a slightly upset tone.
"We wait for her to come to her senses, that's how you deal with newborns of my kind. They need to have time to take in their surroundings and calm down." I replied without looking away from the white alicorn in front of me.
"Why did you break her horn off then?"
"Because once she comes round and I teach her how to use her new demon magic, she can just regrow it no problem."
"Is this because you bit her hoof last night at the old castle?" She asks tilting her head to the side.
"Yes, and I probably shouldn't have done that without asking, but if I had waited and asked I would've died right then and there." As I talk I check over Celestia to make sure she isn't hurt too badly.
"She should wake up soon, right?" She asks looking through the bars to where her sister lay.
Right then she starts to stir, blinking in the darkness to adjust some. Then the pain of her horn got through the haze, and she started wailing in agony again. Almost instantly I numb the pain with my magic, making her acknowledge my presense for the first time today.
"Why does my head hurt so much, and why am I in a dungeon cell?" Looking around at the walls.
"You're in this cell because you transformed before I arrived this morning, and your head hurt for the same reason. The magic blocking ring I tried to use on you shattered so I was forced to break your horn at the half way mark." I was telling her this with a blank face and a calm tone to ensure minimal freak out.
"YOU BROKE MY HORN?!" She screamed... right in my face.
"It's not really that big of a deal Celly. Once I'm done training you with your new magic you can just regrow it pretty fast." I say with a shrug.
"New magic?" Now she was confused.
"Demon magic to be precise." I say this with a small smile on my face, almost knowing her reaction beforehand.
"YOU GAVE ME DEMON MAGIC?!? Tell me how." Now she's looking at me with an expression I can't read, it could have been anything at this point.
"Well Celly, when I bit you at the old castle I sort of started something, and caused some changes to occur inside of you. One of these changes is the ability to use and manipulate Demon magic due to your new Vampire genes."
"So what you're saying is I have to learn a new magic entirely from the beginning?" I could tell this was starting to sink in for her, I get up to take her to her chambers.
"Where are you going Rez?" She looked slightly worried that I would leave her there.
"WE are going to go to your chambers and you are going to lay down for a while, having your horn snapped off can't be fun or pleasant can it?" And with that I continue to walk towards the exit for the dungeons.
Once we make it back to her room, I turn to the guards and tell them that for the rest of the day Celestia is not to be disturbed and that until Luna wakes in the evening, everything goes through me then to the princess due to her weakened state.
Of course I didn't know what I was getting me self into with that... at one point a pony came into the throne room asking that they be made nobility because their family had one of the oldest ties to the city. Needless to say I laughed them out of the room, though there was one pony who had a reason to be here. A dark maroon coated mare with a black mane, walked in with a cut on her face claiming that her colt friend tried to beat her and rape her. I asked her where he would be right now so I could send a detachment of guards to pick him up for questioning.
