//------------------------------// // The unexpected journey // Story: Nights. A awoken legend. // by Tunefulsubset72 //------------------------------// So that happened. I tell myself, it could've been worse, I mean, I could've been turned into a breezie, but I'm happy as a earth pony. If That's right I'm back in equestria, but not just equestria. I'm stuck on the shinning isle, annaria. Better start making for the shoreline. I say to myself as I got and seated walking east, but I better get there before nightfall, who knows what could be here now. A Few Hours Later "If I can just find the library, I'll be able to learn the magic they had here." I could finally see the ocean as I got further and further into a town called the hollows. Tears then started filling my eyes as I remember the memories of when my father took me and my older brother to the library, which is know nothing but a charred husk. I looked away so I could the memories out of my head, then I started heard someone's voice coming from the docks. As I get got closer to the voice I see a unicorn mare with a white mane and light blue fur. "I wonder who this could possibly be" I curiously whispered to myself, “Well, no time like the present to learn." As I get got up from my hiding spot, the unicorn was busy tying her boat down and mumbling something about showing a mare called Twilight what she is truly capable of. "Excuse me, but who might you be?" I ask, which she responded with a scream that could very well blind anyone’s ears permanently, but I resisted it. "Who do you think you are, that you can sneak up on the great and powerful Trixie! How dare you!" she says said to me. "Oh great, one of these ponies again, ugh!" I thought to myself. "Well, SPEAK!!" she yelled at me as she charged her horn. She forgot she was first afraid of me. " One, you don't talk to me that way!" I tell her with rage which cause caused her to back up in fear, "and two my name is Nights Kevlar Wingfeather. "That's impossible" she says" the Wingfeather family was wiped out ten years ago, ALONG with the annarian race." Something about her made me feel uncomfortable."Don’t you think I could've escaped.?" I tell told her while glaring at her for her nonsense of an annarian not possibly surviving. Wow, was this pony born yesterday or something? Well, at least that explains a lot. "Possibly, but what proof do you have to yo...." she stops mid-sentence as she sees my fly up about two or three feet." so you’re really the lost prince of the isle?" "You got it" I tell her" now could you possibly help me; you will get so something in return." "What do you need help with?" Trixie asks. " I just need a lift to Equestria, that is all, now what where you looking for here?" I ask her. "I was looking for anything here that your kind use to magic or something." "I just so happened to see a book like that up in the castle, or what's left of it." I tell her." We can go get it if you want." "Then we should start making our way there." she says. "Good, but we should be back before night fall." I tell her. "Now why is that?" she asks me mockingly. "Cloven" I tell, which made her eyes go wide with fear. ----------------------------- After me and Trixie got the book she was looking, she was really happy when she got it. Not only did it have magic like she was looking for, it also had history and other information about annaria. "Thank you for helping me find this book." she says to me as we arrive at the docks. "You are quite welcome." I tell her" I'm just glad we didn't run into any......." just as I was about to finish my sentence, we heard a spine chilling moan, that could not be recognized." Make your way to the boat, slowly." "What was that?" she asks me in fear. “Was that a cloven?" "No." I tell her." That's no Cloven." "What could be worse, then a cloven?" Trixie asks. "Ley just hope that it hasn’t got hold of our sent." I tell myself. "What are you talking about?" " Trixie" I say" Do you by any chance now what a dremora is?" That was when we heard another moan. " I say we get to the boat." Trixie says with a squeak. "Agreed" I tell as we turned tail and ran for the boat. This was a sure and proven weird way of turning things around, but hey! At least I got a friend, and a way to escape things.
