Chapter 3
I woke up after what felt like hours of unconsciousness, when I finally woke up and found myself in a bed that was much softer than any other I had ever awoken in before. I began to scan the room I was in and noticed 10 other beings in the room with me. the room in itself was a simple setup, with only the bed I was on, a decent sized dresser to my left, and a large table with a mirror on it. the walls were a pristine white and the ceiling was around 8 feet high while the room looked to be somewhat decent as it looked to be around 15 foot by 12 foot. I recognized 3 of the ponies in the room with me, there was Fluttershy, Twilight, and Screwball then there were the other seven. One of the ponies was orange with bright blond mane/tail and had emerald green eyes with her cutie mark being that of three red apples, she also wore a Stetson, which I found slightly weird. Another was bright pink with a slightly darker pink mane/tail and bright blue eyes with her cutie mark being that of three balloons, two blue with yellow strings, and one yellow with a blue string. The third was a cyan Pegasus with a rainbow mane/tail and magenta eyes with her cutie mark being that of a cloud with a lightning bolt of blue, yellow, and red. The fourth was a marshmallow white unicorn with a royal purple mane/tail that was overly styled and sea blue eyes with her cutie mark being that of three diamonds. the fifth wasn't even a pony, there was a purple creature with green spike running down its head and back to its tail, it had a very light green stomach and fin like ears, it lastly had emerald green eyes, sharp teeth, and no cutie mark. the sixth was an extremely tall alabaster unicorn, Pegasus mix that had to be taller than me, maybe even over 6 feet tall, she had a blue, pink, and green mane/tail the seemed to flow in non-existent wind and light purple eyes with her cutie mark being that of the sun, she wore a regalia with a purple crystal in the head piece and necklace, so I could only assume it was one of the two princesses, princess Celestia. The final was another tall unicorn, Pegasus mix that had to be around my height, she was royal blue with an ethereal flowing blue mane/tail that was filled with sparkles that shone light stars in the night sky, she had brilliant sky blue eyes with her cutie mark being that of a crescent moon in the night sky, she had black regalia minus her hoof caps which were lighter blue, and her necklace had a white crescent moon in the center, I could only assume she was the other princess, princess Luna.
When I was done looking around the alabaster , alicorn ?, Celestia, if I remember those correctly, started to talk in a soft and motherly voice, "hello, I am princess Celestia and these are Twilight sparkle, Twilights number one assistant Spike the dragon , Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow dash, Pinkie Pie, Apple jack, Screwball, and my sister princess Luna, we are very pleased to meet a new species like you, but, we are not pleased to have heard of your attack towards Discord," she spoke. I thought it over and realized that I had heard all those names before from both Twilight and Fluttershy. Then it hit me 'crap, these are all the elements of harmony, and the princesses of the day and night' I thought to myself. I got up into a standing position and all but the three mares that already new me already gasped when they finally saw me fully for the first time. As I had done everyday when I awoke I took my shirt of and stretched my wings out to their full length, feeling the sore muscles under the feathers start to relax. After I stretched out my wings I looked back at all the mares and saw that all the pegasi and alicorns, minus Twilight and Fluttershy, had their jaws dropped and were staring at where my wings once were. 'I wonder, do wings like mine have some sort of sex appeal, like how mine are much larger than all but the two princesses' I thought to myself and immediately felt a bit of my old, sadist self as I smiled evilly.
"Like what you see?" I asked as I started to flex the muscles in my wings, and I swore I could see that everypony with wings were drooling, all but Celestia and Fluttershy, Celestia looked unamused until she saw Lunas face and she slowly started to laugh louder and louder, while Fluttershy just giggled quietly. I stopped my showing off and fell back rolling on the floor laughing my ass off as the mares all came back to their senses and saw me laughing on the floor. When I noticed the anger in their eyes I forced myself to stop laughing and decided to attempt and defuse the situation, "ok, ok, ok, look, I'm sorry, so please calm down before you do something you regret," I pleaded as I got up off of the ground. The one I remember as Rainbow Dash trotted over to me, turned around, and struck out both her hind legs. I could tell she was aiming for my gut, unfortunately, she struck more south than most guys would have liked, "AHHHH!!!, GOD DAMMIT! WHAT THE HELL! YOU HIT ME RIGHT IN THE NUTS!!!" I yelled out in a high pitched and pained voice while clutching my crowned jewels.
"Serves you right," Said Rainbow Dash angrily, until she looked back at me and saw the many tears rolling down my face as I rolled around on the ground clutching my sore nuts and quietly whispering f*** over and over again. "umm, are you going to be okay?" she asked as I slowly got back up and shot her a glare.
"Yeah, just f***ing peachy, y'know, I just tease you a bit and apologize, then you hit me right in the most sensitive spot of almost all male creatures, so yeah, Just Peachy," I said with some venom in my voice. Rainbow Dash quickly backed away from me and just gave a sincere 'sorry 'bout that'. I waited a good 10 minutes for my balls to stop hurting because ponies can kick hard. "So where am I anyway, and what happened with me and Discord, he seems like a guy I would actually enjoy hanging out with, well, except for some things,' I said as the pain finally subsided from my body and I stood back up to my full height. 'man, I can't believe that I didn't pass out, the one damn time I want to be knocked out, and I have to stay conscious the whole time, screw my luck' I thought to myself as I dusted off my pants.
Princess Luna walked over to me, and I could only guess she would be pissed with me if not for the fact that I just got nailed full force in the nuts. "You are lucky outsider, Discord has put the judgment of your attempt on his life under myself and Celestia, so speak your defense and we shall tell you our verdict on what your punishment shall be," she said with chilling amount of calm and authority. I started from when I first encountered the wolf like shadow creature and up until I blacked out. I described the strange hatred I had felt, the want to hear him apologize to screwball for acting like she didn't exist, "well what about your family outsider, were you happy with them or were you unhappy?" She asked me.
"My family was not what you would call a 'perfect' example of kinship, my mother went insane when I had reached my 7th year of education and me, my dad, and my sister had to leave the house. One of my brothers was taking advantage of her mental illness to get money and drugs, but after a few years he straightened out and was better, but not my mom. My other brother was always ok, he would barrow money and not repay it, but he was good, he had gotten married and had a daughter before I left, and my sister was always just as normal as any sister, but my dad always made sure to protect us and made sure we were loved and cared for, so I have mixed feeling about my family and whether or not I was happy or unhappy," I explained as all the mares and one dragon listened intently.
"what of your mother?" asked Luna,
"she never got the help she needed, it wasn't because it wasn't offered, she always refused any help and soon just fell apart, until the day she just ended her life," I answered without emotion, I never felt any pain over my mothers death, I always thought it was because I just didn't care about her, until I realized her insanity had broken me, and left with nearly no sense of empathy, until now. "It doesn't matter, is there a way for me to get home, I need to face the shadow before he can destroy anything, there is, isn't there?" I asked, unsure of my chances. though my only answer was a simple 'follow me' from Celestia, I felt slightly happy that I would get to go home and fight the shadow.
After a long walk down many hallways that had many tapestries and stained glass windows depicting many events of equestrian history we came upon a large set of doors with a guard on each side of the doors. Celestia went over and whispered into the ear of the guard on the left side of the door and the two guards opened the doors to reveal a large room filled with random items covered in sheets, so I just assumed it was a storage room. As I looked around the room I noticed a large mirror at the center of it, the mirror looked like a horse shoe that was decorated with crystals, added onto the top of the mirror was a picture depicting an earth pony standing up on its hind legs, and the base of the mirror was circular and adorned all the way around with more horse shoes. Celestia walked up to the mirror and began to explain what it was, "This is a strange mirror that both me and my sister know little about other than what my pupil Twilight has told us from her previous trips through, from what we've been told, your world of humans lays through this mirror, and all you have to do is walk through it," she said and moved for me to walk through, but I was confused about two things.
"What of my items and punishment?" I asked, both wanting my items and curious as to why they would let me leave so easily when I was being judged for a crime. my first desire was met after I asked the question, a guard walked into to room caring all the items had brought when I had ended up in here.
"You are not to be punished since you are leaving us now," answered Luna, leaving me with no other questions. I put on my shirt, grabbed all my gear, and said goodbye to the three mares that I knew in the room before walking over to the mirror. I stood at the base and took a deep breath before stepping up and into the mirror.

Jack walked up to the mirror while taking a deep breath, he then started to walk up to the mirror, but as soon as his foot came in contact with the mirror, he was repelled back with enough force to send him across and into the doors of the room. When Jack impacted with the door it cracked and shuddered against his weight, nearly breaking off the hinges. All the mares and spike ran over to Jack, only to find him knocked out on the floor, bleeding from a cut on his right arm that seemed to be created by an opened knife that had been in his backpack when he hit the door. Celestia and Luna began to scan Jack and both gasped at what they found. "It seems his soul has been tethered to the universe now, probably due to this shadow creature that Jack described," said Luna as Fluttershy began to help bandage Jacks arm and Screwball began to check that he was breathing. Screwball found that Jack was still breathing and released a happy sigh that he was alive.
"well then, it seems that this human only has one option so..." Celestia said, taking a slight pause.
Both the princesses then said in unison, "Jack shall become a citizen of equestria".
