'WELCOME TO SNOWDIN TOWN'

'So this is Snowdin?' The pony thought as she looked at the snowy town. There appeared to be a Christmas theme in the centre of the town. Celestia looked at the Christmas tree in awe, she talked to the many townsfolk of the village. None of them really noticed, or exclaimed that she was a pony, which relived the little alicorn a lot, she didn't need a bunch of monsters trying to attack her, even though she was constantly attack by other monsters. She arrived at a shop and talked to the shop keeper about the place. The bunny monster was nice, she told the filly about the skeleton brothers and how they made the town more interesting. After the chat Celestia bought some cinnamon buns and trotted to a place called Grillbys. Celestia found out that it was a dinner of some sort, and she recognised some of the monsters in the dinner, the monsters being the Fluffle poff and the guard dogs. After a few solid minutes of petting Flufle and greeting other monsters, she went out of the dinner.

'Wow, this town is cool. But where's Sans and Papyrus?' Celestia explored Snowdin a bit more, trying to find out where the brothers lived. Luckily, she didn't have to search long as she found their house quite quickly. The alicorn tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Hey! Sans! Papyrus! You in there!?" The filly yelled, trying to gain the attention of the brothers, if they were in there. Celestia groaned, ' I'll just visit them later' she trotted to the next area.

As Celestia walked, it became snowier and fog appeared, she couldn't see anything, and it was very cold, but the pony kept going, hoping that this would go away soon. The filly stopped, she saw some thing in the distance, something familiar. "P-Papyrus? Are you there?" She trotted closer, the only thing she could see now was a shadowy figure, six feet infront of her. 





"PONY" Papyrus said in a surprisingly serious tone, "ALLOW ME TO TELL YOU ABOUT SOME COMPLEX FEELINGS. FEELINGS LIKE... THE JOY OF FINDING ANOTHER COOKING LOVER, THE ADMIRATION FOR ANOTHER'S PUZZLE-SOLVING SKILLS, THE DESIRE TO HAVE A COOL, SMART PERSON THINK YOU ARE COOL. THESE FEELINGS..." Papyrus clenched his boney fists and pointed at Celestia shadowy figure, raising his voice to his familiar, loud, tone. "THEY MUST BE WHAT YOU'RE FEELING RIGHT NOW!!! I CAN HARDLY IMAGINE WHAT IT MUST BE LIKE TO FEEL THAT WAY" The tall skeleton exclaimed, luckily for him, the dense fog covered Celestia's smug face "AFTER ALL, I AM VERY GREAT. I DON'T EVER WONDER WHAT HAVING LOTS OF FRIENDS IS LIKE. I PITY YOU... LONELY PONY.... BUT WORRY NOT!!!YOU SHALL BE LONELY NO LONGER! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL BE YOUR...YOUR..." Celestia waited with baited breath, but then Papyrus turned away. "...NO...NO, THIS IS ALL WRONG! I CAN'T BE YOUR FRIEND!!! YOU ARE A PONY! I MUST CAPTURE YOU!!! THEN, I CAN FULFIL MY LIFELONG DREAM!!! POWERFUL! POPULAR! PRESTIGIOUS!!!" The fog had suddenly swiped to either sides of Papyrus and Celestia, said pony's white heart popped out. "THAT'S PAPYRUS!!! THE NEWEST MEMBER...OF THE ROYAL GAURD!!!"

"Wait! Papyrus don't fight me! Please!" But yelling didn't help. 






Papyrus blocks the way!

'WhatdoIdo whatdoIdo!' Celestia didn't know what to do. She thought of something crazy, so crazy, that it just might work. "Hey Papyrus!"
The skeleton had caught interest. Then Celestia gave him a blow kiss. Papyrus seemed really shocked, and flustered. Celestia's eyes shrunk 'Wait...WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST DO!' Papyrus didn't noticed the pony's expression, he was still to flustered from what just happened.

Finally he spoke up "WHAT?! FL-FLIRTING! SO YOU FINALLY REVEAL YOUR ULTIMATE FEELINGS! W-WELL! I'M A SKELETON WITH VERY HIGH STANDARDS!!!"

Celestia poker faced "I can cook"

"OH NO!! YOU'RE MEETING ALL OF MY STANDARDS!!! I GUESS THIS MEANS I HAVE TO GO ON A DATE WITH YOU...? LET'S DATE L-LATER!! AFTER I CAPTURE YOU!" The skeleton threw some bone attacks.

Celestia's head dropped 'So close' She was going to dodge the bones, but they were out of reach for them to attack the pony's heart. The alicorn's head tilted 'huh?'

*Papyrus is thinking about what to wear for his date.

"Listen Papyrus, I don't want to fight you!" Celestia yelled to the skeleton.

"SO, YOU WONT FIGHT... THEN, LETS SEE IF YOU CAN HANDLE MY FABLED 'BLUE ATTACK!'" Papyrus Summoned blue bones to attack Celestia's soul, but the filly knew what to do to evade all attacks. The white heart stayed in place as a bunch of blue bones passed through the soul. After the last bone phased through the heart, it became deadly quiet.

*ping* 

'Wha...how di-' "augh!" Celestia exclaimed as her heart turned blue, and a small bone had damaged her soul. "W-what did you do?"

Papyrus's smile grew bigger "YOU'RE BLUE NOW. THAT'S MY ATTACK! NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!!!"       



Celestia was baffled, she couldn't for the life of her lift her now blue heart, she could only move it left and right. "uuuhhhhh, I can't move my heart right" 

Papyrus helped her out, "TRY THINKING ABOUT MAKING YOUR SOUL JUMP!!!" He summoned more bones to attack, thankfully, Celestia used the advice and the blue soul hopped over the bones. Papyrus cheered "GREAT JOB, BUT YOU HAVE TO GET A LOW ENOUGH HEALTH SO I CAN CAPTURE YOU SAFELY!" the skeleton then proceeded to dab some, Bone powder behind his, ear. Celestia stared blankly at him "W-WHAT?! I'M NOT THINKING ABOUT THE DATE THING!" 

He threw more bone attacks at her, luckily, she got a hang of the jumping tactics and jumped over all of them. "Papyrus, I'm still not fighting you!"

The skeleton replied "YEAH! DON'T MAKE ME USE MY SPECIAL ATTACK!" another bone attack was summoned, but dodged easily. Papyrus dabbed some more strange things behind his, ears... "I CAN ALMOST TASTE MY FUTURE POPULARITY!" a bone attack came, and was dodged again. Papyrus didn't really seem affected by how easily the pony kept evading his attacks. Celestia figured out Papyrus was in his own little world right now. "PAPYRUS, HEAD OF THE ROYAL GUARD!" he dabbed some more weird stuff behind his ears, then realised he doesn't have ears. 

"P-Papyrus? You aren't listening to me anymore are you?" Celestia was greeting with some more ego-fuelled diolouge from Papyrus, as well as more bone attacks, and Celestia dodging most of the attacks. (And healing if necessary)

Papyrus kept praising about his future, (and a little about his friend's and brother's future) "I'LL HAVE LOTS OF ADMIRERS!! BUT..." Celestia gained interest of what Papyrus was saying again, Papyrus rattled his bones. "WILL SOMEONE LIKE ME AS SINCERELY AS YOU?" Another bone attack. Papyrus cackled, "SOMEONE LIKE YOU IS REALLY RARE..." Celestia smiled happily as she dodged the bone attacks, they were getting a bit harder to evade. "AND DATING MIGHT BE KIND OF HARD... " More harder bone attacks came, Celestia was struggling a bit "AFTER YOU'RE CAPTURED AND SENT AWAY" Celestia was getting a bit worried now about how difficult it would be to avoid getting hit. Papyrus whispered 'NYEH HEH HEH!' "NOT TO LONG AND I WILL USE MY SPECIAL ATTACK!!!"

Celestia finally decided to speak up "Papyrus come on, I don't want to hurt you, and I know you don't want to hurt me either" 

Papyrus replied angrily "UUGGHH....WHO CARES! GIVE UP!" another hard bone attack, was dodged, barely. "GIVE UP OR FACE MY... SPECIAL ATTACK!!!" another bone attack, evaded "NOT TO LONG AND I WILL USE MY SPECIAL ATTACK!!!" 

Celestia realised he was stalling. "You know you've been saying that for awhile now, right" 

Papyrus was shocked 'OH NO!! THE PONY KNOWS! WELL, BETTER NOT KEEP HER WAITING ANYMORE' "BEHOLD...MY SPECIAL ATTACK!!!" Papyrus summoned his special attack, it was a fluffy white dog, chewing on a bone. Celestia giggled at the skeleton's expression. "WHAT THE HECK! THAT'S MY SPECIAL ATTACK!!" Papyrus began to yell at the dog "HEY! YOU STUPID DOG! DO YOU HEAR ME!? STOP MUNCHING ON THAT BONE!!" even with the skeleton's shouts, the dog didn't stop chewing, but instead slowly scurried away. "HEY!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! COME BACK HERE WITH MY SPECIAL ATTACK!!" Celestia thankfully stopped laughing at Papyrus before he even noticed. "...OH WELL...I'LL JUST USE A REALLY COOL REGULAR ATTACK!" 

Papyrus prepared his really cool regular attack while Celestia healed up, preparing for the hardest bone attack yet. Papyrus sighed "HERE'S AN ABSOLUTELY NORMAL ATTACK"

It was a Sh:#storm

Celestia had just finished the last of the regular attack, with her blue heart jumping over a massive pile of bones and one super giant bone, and her soul also jumping the words 'Cool dude' written in bone, a bone on a skate board with a hula hoop, and one slow, tiny bone, which was jumped over pathetically.

"WELL....'HUFF' IT'S CLEAR....YOU CAN'T 'HUFF' DEFEAT ME!!! YEAH!!! I CAN SEE YOU SHAKING IN YOUR BOOTS!!!" the skeleton said, exhausted, and shaking in his boots. "THEREFORE I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL ELECT YOU PITY!!! I WILL SPARE YOU PONY!!! YOU CAN NOW ACCEPT MY MERCY!!"

Celestia, also exhausted, felt her heart go through her chest, the filly flopped on the snow, taking 5. "Heh heh, finally..." When she looked up, Papyrus was turned around and was, crying?

"NYOO HOO HOO..." the tall skeleton whined as Celestia comforted him "I CAN'T EVEN STOP SOMEONE AS WEAK AS YOU"

The comforting then stopped, it was replaced with a deadpan stare "I'm not that weak..."

Papyrus didn't really notice Celestia's stare, he kept going "UNDYNE'S GOING TO BE DISAPOINTED IN ME. I'LL NEVER JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD...AND....MY FRIEND QUALITY WILL REMAIN STAGNANT!" 

Celestia hit his chest, (it only did 1 damage) "Don't be such a sad sack, I can be your friend!" 

Papyrus was shock a bit that Celestia struck him, but then he realised she was asking him to be her friend. "REALLY!? YOU WANT TO BE FRIENDS, WITH ME???" the pony nodded "WELL THEN....I GUESS....I GUESS I CAN MAKE AN ALLOWANCE FOR YOU!"

Celestia giggled "We'll be friends till the end!" 

"WOWIE!! AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN HAD OUR FIRST DATE...AND I'VE ALREADY MANAGED TO HIT THE FRIEND ZONE!!!"

Celestia sweat dropped and forced a smile to appear 'I forgot about the date thing, dang it!' "Y-Yeah..heh heh..."

"WHO KNEW THAT ALL I NEEDED TO MAKE PALS....WAS TO GIVE PEOPLE AWFUL PUZZLES AND THEN FIGHT THEM? YOU'VE TAUGHT ME ALOT, PONY. I HEREBY GRANT YOU PERMISSION TO PASS THROUGH!  AND I'LL GIVE YOU DIRECTIONS TO THE SURFACE. CONTINUE FORWARD UNTIL YOU REACH THE END OF THE CAVERN. THEN...WHEN YOU REACH THE CAPITAL, CROSS, THE BARRIER.  THAT'S THE MAGICAL SEAL TRAPPING US ALL UNDERGROUND. ANYTHING CAN ENTER THROUGH IT, BUT NOTHING CAN EXIT... EXCEPT SOMEONE WITH LOTS OF MAGIC AND A POWERFUL SOUL...LIKE YOU!!! THAT'S WHY THE KING WANTS TO AQUIRE A PONY. HE WANTS TO BREAK THE BARRIER USING SOUL POWER. THEN US MONSTERS CAN RETURN TO THE SURFACE!"

Celestia was listening to the skeletons explanation of how to reach the surface, but there was one question that kept flooding her mind. "Is it really that easy Papyrus? I just have to walk through?"

"OH, I FORGOT TO TELL YOU....TO REACH THE EXIT, YOU WILL HAVE TO PASS...THROUGH THE KING'S CASTLE. THE KING OF ALL MONSTER'S...HE IS...WELL... HE'S A BIG FUZZY PUSH OVER!!!"

"Huh?" This was not what Celestia had been expecting.

"EVERYBODY LOVES THE GUY! I AM CERTAIN IF YOU JUST SAY...'EXCUSE ME, MR DREEMURR...CAN I PLEASE GO HOME?' HE'LL GUILD YOU RIGHT TO THE BARRIER HIMSELF!"

Celestia couldn't believe what he was saying "Woah, he is a push over..." 

"ANYWAYS!!! THAT'S ENOUGH TALKING!!! I'LL BE AT HOME BEING A COOL FRIEND!!! FEEL FREE TO COME BY AND HAVE THAT DATE! NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!!!" Papyrus flew off to his house, literally.

"Heh heh...what do I do now?" Celestia looked at the entrance of the cavern, and the exit to Snowdin. "Maybe...my quest can wait...besides, it wouldn't be humerus to leave a date behind" the alicorn teleported back to Snowdin, snickering at the pun she just made.
