We arrived on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. There was various animal noises coming from inside it.
"Alright. Everyone ready?" I asked as I headed the group.
"No." Fluttershy said quietly.
I grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her close to me.
"You don't have to be afraid. I will protect you and everyone else from harm." I said.
She looked into my eyes and nodded as her fear slightly faded away.
"Yes. Because you did such a smashing job at protecting Dash." Rarity said.
Twilight gasped.
"Rarity, how could you?" She asked.
I let go of Fluttershy and walked over to Rarity. I looked her in the eye.
"Now, is not the time for your mouth, 'darling'." I said impersonating her to my best ability.
"Well, it's only the truth." She said.
"Actually, if it wasn't for me, she would be dead!" I yelled, my anger rising.
"How do you figure that?!" She shouted back.
"Because if I hadn't taken that gunshot, she would be dead!" I screamed.
Fluttershy was cowered down behind AJ at this point.
"True. But, instead she's been captured and taken to Celestia knows where. For all we know she could be dead anyway!" She shouted.
Twilight clamped her hands over both of our mouths.
"Will you two shut the hell up already?!" Twilight shouted.
"Rarity, there was no need for you to rub that in. Jet, there was no need for you to take it this far." She said as she lowered her hands.
"I'm sorry, darling. I know that you're hurting more than all of us." Rarity said.
"It's okay, Rarity. I can't be easy losing one of your best friends." I said as she hugged me.
