I woke up the next morning to find Discord had left my side. I refused to get out of bed, because the warmth was too pleasing to deny. I wrapped my blanket around me to retain some of warmth my body craved.
" Discord must've went back to Canterlot early.... "
I thought, as I heard someone at the door and groaned sleepily. As I came downstairs, Angel glared at the door at being interrupted from his carrot-filled dreams. I smirked at my bunnies obvious annoyance and opened the door with a bright smile. My smile faded as my friends stood there, and a guilty frown took its place. They all looked more worried then last time.....
" Oh dear Celestia! I didn't apologize to them! "
My eyes started to water with tears of remorse and deep sadness.
" Fluttershy... Please can you tell us what's wro- "
I hugged Twilight and cried a guilty apology.
" I'm so sorry for not telling you all what was wrong! I'm sorry for shutting you all out! Please, forgive me.... "
She seemed confused and cautious at first, but hugged me back with a content sigh. I looked up at them in regret. They smiled forgivingly and I let out a breath in relief. I invited them inside, and as they sat down, Discord shot confetti as he appeared and smiled brightly at me, not seeing the girls, looking confused. He walked over, snaked himself around me, and kissed me affectionately on the cheek.
" Hello, my dear! Sorry I had to leave you this morning, Fluttershy, but Celestia demanded I come to Canterlot to fix a minor problem she was having. "
He tried to kiss me again, aiming for my lips, but I ,reluctantly, dodged his attempt. He looked at me, slightly hurt and confused, as I indicated our friends. His cheeks tinged scarlet, and he chuckled nervously.
" O-Oh, hello, my dearest friends... How have you been lately? "
Rainbow looked at me, concern etched on her face. The others soon set their gaze on Discord, who was looking flustered. Rainbow glared at him, dangerously.
" What.... exactly was that, Dip-cord?
Discord took on his usual denying-to-co-operate face.
" I don't know what your talking about, Rainbow Dash. Can't I give my dear friend Fluttershy a peck on the cheek? "
Rainbow glared daggers at Discord. Everyone else started to look concerned at me.
" Not when afterwards you aim for square on the lips! "
Twilight looked at me, as if hungry for answers.
" Fluttershy? "
I felt my mind crack in fear. My heart pounded against my chest. I let out a sigh.
" Time to face the music, as they say "
I looked at my friends with all the bravery I could muster in my time of fear. My fear almost showed in my eyes, but I replaced it with a look of determination.
" Girls.... I love Discord and... he loves me just as much... "
They all looked shocked at first, then their eyes burst forth flames of anger.
" WHAT?!?!?!?!?!!? "
Rainbow put her face right in front of Discords. Her face as red as a ripened cherry.
" What kind of spell did you put her under!???!!??!!! "
Discord started to unleash his anger, starting with Rainbow.
" I would do nothing of that sort to Fluttershy! But to you? It would be my pleasure.... "
Discord snapped his fingers and Rainbow was forced roughly into a overly laced dress that was pink all over. Rainbow's eyes turned a fiery red.
" Discord!!?!? What did you do to me?!??!!!!?!? "
Discord laughed loudly as he wiped a tear from his eye. He smiled deviously at Rainbow.
" I simply got this dress for you, Dashie! Why, don't you like it? "
She tried to tackle him, but he teleported out of the way. Everyone started to argue with Discord, and they all received something from him. Twilight tried to calm everyone down, but she soon grew angry herself. They all soon had a spell given to them. Twilight was surrounded by ripped up books and they were being torn on her as she tried to get rid of them, Rarity tried not to burst into tears at her now green hair, Pinkie's hair went straight as she was in a dark corner where no laughter or parties were, Applejack looked at the phantoms of her family, arguing and broken up, and Rainbow was trying and failing to get her accursed dress off. I looked at all of them, in so much pain, and I started to let tears of sorrow and disappointment fall down my face. I couldn't bare to see them like this anymore. My own anger was starting to boil inside me. I tried to calm down, but my anger refused to leave me. I couldn't keep my sadness and fury inside me any longer.
" STOP IT!!!! "
Everyone looked at me, terrified at the look of pure rage on my face. My anger did not subside at the look of fear on their faces. I stared at them for a moment, then my rage cooled down as I realized their faces were full of fear. My eyes watered up with shame and despair.
" Why? W-Why can't my friends and the love of my life get a-along? It's all I've ever asked of you.... I-It's all I-I-I've ever wanted from you.... "
I couldn't even look at them..... bickering and arguing.... because of me.... I needed some time away from them. I put my hoofs to my eyes and flew out the door. I heard them call out to me, but my heart ached as I heard Discord. I had to ignore my hurting heart at his voice called me in remorse. I flew as fast as I could, realizing that my nightmare had become reality......
