It was a new day, and everything started off with the usual Mario and Luigi bang in Twilight's humble abode at the Golden Oak Library. The sun was shining, the birds singing, it was a swell harvest day.
Because of the horrifying time Twilight had yesterday, Mario Luigi and Spike were all in the kitchen working on some breakfast for the four of them. Apple juice, check; Eggs, Check; toast... Spike Belched, releasing a flame that would toast the wheat bread nice and crisp, yet soft enough, that it had seemed like a well cooked grilled cheese except without the cheese.
"Wow, Spike!" Mario said astounded at his fiery breath, and exceptional cooking skills.
"Well, you're the one who doubted my cooking skills." Spike said. "And do you remember last night?"
"Well played..." Mario grumbled defeated, handing spike ten mushroom kingdom coins.
"Well, Mario," Luigi said breaking up the sore looser from the sore winner. 
"What?" Mario said "I just lost ten coins."
"I was going to say we should take this to Twilight and surprise her." Luigi said.
"Oh," Mario said "Yeah."
Twilight was happily asleep underneath her covers. was she dreaming or wasn't she, only time would tell. Mario and Luigi quietly huddled into the small room that was above the staircase, Twilight's room, and Mario gently placed the tray of food gently over Twilight. She'd noticed the weight and slowly awoke from her slumber. Her purple and magenta mane were matted with the obvious case of bed head. She saw Mario Luigi and spike at the tale edge of her bed, Surprise they said to her quietly.
As Twilight awoke more and rubbed her eyes with her hooves she noticed that breakfast was served. "Thank you, Gentleco-" she began to then correct herself "Gentlemen." She began chowing down and that had prompted Mario, Luigi and Spike to leave the room. upon exiting, Spike belched, along with the belch came a small stream of emerald, fire and a note with the royal Canterlot seal.
"It's rare for the princess to send a letter without her getting one first." Spike said with the letter in his claws. "I think we should let Twilight know right away."
Mario and Luigi nodded and went for the bedroom posthaste. Twilight was moments from finishing up her breakfast when, suddenly Mario Luigi and Spike once more came in.
"Can I help you?" Twilight asked a little concerned
"The Princess sent you a scroll, Twilight." Spike said.
"That's odd," Twilight remarked, as she opened it up and read who it was for and who it was signed by. her eyes got big as she'd read further what was happening. 
"Mario, Luigi," Twilight said, " It seems you're requested at the castle in Canterlot. Twilight said, handing the scroll to the brothers to read.

Mario and Luigi,
This is Princess Luna writing in stead of Princess Celestia, I wish to see you two at the Canterlot castle as soon as you get this. There has been an amargency happening over last night. There was some intruder who wore a black cape and had green skin, this individual had stolen Princess Celestia's voice. I request you here instead of Twilight and her friends knowing that I would most likely scare them the way I did when I was Nightmare moon. If you would please hurry, My sister can not write otherwise the parchment she writes upon burns and she can not speak for she has quite literal 'explosive vocabulary'. I the sisterly monarch can not run Equesatria without the aid of my older sister taking charge during the day, especially with recent events, ask Twilight what I mean. I must see thou here posthaste.

"Mamma Mia!" Mario said after reading the scroll "How could she be back?"
Luigi finished reading the scroll saying "Oh, no! Not her!"
"um, Boys," Twilight said, her annoyed voice not getting the attention of either of them
"We're going to have so much trouble now!" Mario exclaimed
"I don't want you to nearly turn into a bean again bro!" Luigi yelled frantically
"Guys!" Twilight said. a little louder.
"How're we going to get Celestia's voice back if we don't know where sheis!"
"I don't know Mario I just want to never see her again!"
"Quiet!" Twilight yelled at the top of her lungs.
Mario and Luigi stared at her.
"Would you mind telling me who this 'She' is?"
Mario and Luigi begin delving into the long tale of how the beanbean kingdom had treated them and their fare Princess.

It was a fine saturday, sun shining and nothing out of the ordinary, or so many ponies in Equestria would think. fillies off doing anything they like, the teachers sipping their own cup of tea, This made the school the perfect place to house a secret plan.
Cackletta shut all the shutters in the school, it was completely dark she set the Beanstar in the center of the room and right next to it, a robot projecting Celestia's voice.
"Ho, ho, ho," the Robot laughed. this continued for about a few moments when suddenly the green welcoming glow of the Beanstar turned ravaged red, The nice smiley face turned to a displeased frown as it shook violently back and fourth trying to dispel the tarnished voice brought before it.
Cackletta, immediately seeing the reaction turned off the robot. "EYURRGH!" she yelled. "Why? Why why why!" she pondered frustratedly. She was about to hit something inside the schoolhouse, however, she heard three fillies pass by "We really need to get Rainbow Dash's story!" She heard one of them say. the other two had agreed. They passed by, and Cackletta using every ounce of patience she had refrained from hitting a single thing in the class, until she'd punched a desk in the back of the room. There was no damage seen, yet the collateral damage probably would get either snips or snails into trouble come monday.
There was a pause, Cackletta was thinking of her backup plan. Surely, she must have an untarnished voice, Cackletta thought thinking back to the navy blue princess she saw. At least when I'd first tried this, I'd known my target, Cackletta thought. She was now contemplating how she'd get into the castle once more. with the guards on high alert still, and the other Princess's voice gone, she would have to battle her way through an entire army of trained soldiers. at this point she'd wished for Fawful back, however, she knew it wouldn't happen.
suddenly, the schoolhouse's door was opened. not by the inside, however by the outside. there was a figure standing in the door way, not a pony figure, however, a human figure. "No," she said slightly frightened "not you troublesome boys from the mushroom kingdom."
There was no reply from the figure.
"I'm not ready, yet. If you'd give me enough time, I'll have a grand finale for you..." she said to the figure once more, however there was no reply. "What do you want? Who are you?" she finally asked the figure.
The figure stepped into the dark room, and luminescent green projected by the sleeping star right next to him and Cackletta. "Let's just say, I'm a friend trying to cause some havoc."
"How are you in anyway my friend?" Cackletta asked "For all I know, you could've been one of the mushroom munchers out to get me."
"Let me ask a similar question," He said amidst Cackletta's questioning.
"You don't dare silence the great Cackletta do you?"
Without any quiver or pause, he simply asked "How come your venture into the castle last night, went without a hitch?"
Cackletta pondered that. there were enough guards to tackle her and plenty of winged ones as well to bring her down, so why hadn't they?
"I know exactly what you're thinking." the figure said to Cackletta, "You're thinking how it was possible." he laughed "Now you're thinking its impossible."
Clever one; "Fine, know-it-all," Cackletta said "enlighten me."
"It was I who subdued most of the guards, and, Let's just say, I borrowed a cloak." 
it was now a stalemate, Cackletta had no clue if the figure had told the truth or not at all. he was clever enough to be her right winged man, however, dare she replace Fawful for this unknown guy?
"Alright," Cackletta finally said after minutes of thought. "You want to prove you're on my side, prove it by snatching that other fare Princess's voice."
Cackletta had handed the figure a music box and her minion's head gear. "don't disappoint me, other wise you're never welcome in my sight." she turned her back to the mysterious figure and kept her head held high.
The figure chuckled "you won't be."

Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi  were pantomiming and acting out how they'd defeated the great witch Cackletta before.  Bounce Bros. nearly took out the roof, Mario wanted to do chopper bros, however Luigi wasn't prepared and was nearly hit into a book case. a few of those moves had gotten a little too close to book shelves and nearly knocked down what was in the library. Twilight was at her breaking point, I mean, we all know how she likes books. "GUYS!" she'd yelled.
Mario and Luigi quickly stopped their old Bros. move and went straight to Twilight.
"I get that you've battled and beaten her before," Twilight said to them. "But must you practice your old moves now? In a Library no less?"
Mario and Luigi saw nothing wrong with the room they'd pantomimed in, however Twilight's stern look told otherwise.
"Look, I've prepared your trip to Canterlot for you. all you need to do is take the hot air balloon up and fly to the north east. You'll eventually see mountains, There'll be a castle there and that's where you'll find Celestia and Luna.
"Okie dokie." Mario said "I've piloted a hot air balloon before."
"Don't you mean that one time we went to dinosaur island, met up with Yoshi and rescued all his friends and Princess peach from bowser?" 
"Yeah," Mario said "I mean that time."
Luigi had fond memories of Dinosaur island. "Oh, I can't wait to get onto a hot air balloon again."
"Well, before you guys do more damage to this library, I suggest you be on your way then." Twilight somewhat irritatedly suggested.
"Let's a go!"
"Okie dokie."
"The balloon is parked in the center of town." Twilight said.
Mario and Luigi were heard and were already on their way. in a few short minutes the balloon was ready to go all that needed to happen was a sand bag needed to be dropped and off the Mario Bros went. 
The calm skies of Equestria, reminded them of what the trip to Dinosaur island was like. barely a cloud in the sky save for one or two covering a mountain. Barely any wind whatsoever, making it very easy for Mario to steer the balloon. Luigi was looking down below and he saw the landscape of the land ponies called home, it was quite a sight from the altitude they were reaching. the remainder of the trip was calm and collected.
Mario and Luigi could see that there was a landing strip for an air balloon and other things as such. As soon as they'd seen the strip, pegasus guard ponies came and escorted the balloon the remainder of the way to the strip. once the balloon landed, Mario and Luigi weren't greeted by friendly guards, they were instead greeted by spears being pointed at them.
"So, you two must be the Mario Brothers." a voice said in the background.
"Oh, yeah." Mario said
"Princess Luna wishes an audience with you immediately,please follow me." the voice said and revealed a white cote, with a blue mane.
Mario and Luigi had no choice in the matter as they both were slightly poked by spears to continue moving every second or two.
Mario then asked "Who are you?" to the mysterious colt in white.
"I am Shining Armor," he replied. "And I'm to immediately escort you to princess Luna."
"Why the spears?" Luigi asked "We're friends."
"According to her, you're wanted for questioning, and possibly to fix a plumbing leak at the castle by the looks of it." Shining replied
"Oh," Luigi sighed slumping back a little. a moment later a spear poked him "Youch!" he yelled jumping high into the air only to end up right on his feet moving with the rest of the entourage. 
The castle's exterior was welcoming, yet intimidating to someone who'd never been there. big arches and other old architecture filled the castle, It had almost made Peach's castle seem modern at best. The guards took a turn and so did the Brothers out of fear of being speared. They all continued to the throne room where Luna was sitting on the throne and her sister, Celestia, was crying much like peach had when her voice was stolen. Luna saw that the two in question arrived and at this point stood up assuming the Royal form of the two sisters, back in the day.
"PEASANTS!" she yelled using some type of ancient yell. "HOW DARE THOU TAKEST THY SISTER"S VOICE!"
Mario and Luigi began saying how that isn't so, and how they'd been in Ponyville the whole time. Mario even recounts that he'd lost ten coins in a bet.
"SILENCE!" Luna once more yelled "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR COVER STORY I WANT ANSWERS..." she'd paused waiting for either mario and Luigi to speak once more "NOW!" she'd yelled immediately after one of the bros had opened his mouth.
Celsetia had tried to speak "Try to be nicer on them, Luna." However the only thing to come out was explosions.
Luna had gone over to her sister, hugged her then said "Sister thou must watch thy mouth, you do have quite literal 'explosive vocabulary after all." 
Seeing this small act of kindness on the Princess of the night's part, had dramatically chanced the tone of the room. and Luna, with her sisterly knowledge knew she was being too rough with her quarry. Luna cleared her throat, then said "I MUST APOLOGIZE, AFTER BEING TRAPPED ON THE MOON FOR A THOUSAND YEARS, I MUSN'T USE THE ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE TOO MUCH."
Mario and Luigi recoiled at that abysmal fact, thinking what it had been like spending a thousand years on the moon. Luigi couldn't bare to think what would happen after a thousand years and hoped not to get banished to another's moon. Mario on the other hand had thought about how much time a thousand years could be to just eat spaghetti on the moon, given banishment had that sort of thing.
"I WANT ANSWERS NOW!" Luna yelled at them. 
Mario and Luigi immediately after told her what had happened in the beanbean kingdom about Cackletta and her minion Fawful and how much trouble they'd caused
"NOW then." Luna tried to exercise some self control on her royal Canterlot voice. "It hast been brought to thy attention, that you two know who is behind this foul attack, I want you two to find them and send them back to where they had come." Luna said. "I also wish to say that I'd found a couple of things not of this world, in the castle's library." The guards then handed Mario a green shell, and Luigi a fire flower. 
"I bid thee good luck," Luna said "And I feel as though the one you're trying to track, is closer than you might imagine."

Mario and Luigi heading the advice of Luna, decided to look around the castle for clues. all around the castle there were some ponies who were skeptical that Mario and Luigi had been there to begin with to help investigate as they had thought Mario and Luigi were the ones to instigate this whole speech theft.
Mario and Luigi time and time again said to those skeptical "Look, We're just trying to get home."
Some of the guards sympathized with them looking forward to getting home to their families in Canterlot and abroad, however, some of the others simply continued gazing for suspicious individuals. 
Mario and Luigi continued out of the courtyard and into the sculpture garden. The garden filled with grey opaque statues was for the most part boring. surely, there were tidbits of Equestrian history there, however Mario was not interested at all in it. Luigi being the one to go to haunted mansions and vacuum up any old monetary and gold he could, was wide eyed and engrossed in the world that was Equestria. Whereas Mario made a beeline through the sculpture garden like he had that time in Honeyhive galaxy. Luigi diddled and dawdled on through the garden looking at the craftsmanship that went into every sculpture, sometimes fiddling with a couple of small things on them Luigi got to a statue that had resembled the figure back from Bowser's castle. "Mario!" Luigi called not too worried or stressed, but, "Its a discord!" Mario ran back to Luigi and saw the same statue. this statue however seemed to have a good solid crack at the end of its snakelike, amphibian, tail. The cracks stopped at about waist level of whatever Discord was, However as both brothers looked at the statue, the crack slowly grew. "Mamma mia, Let's get out of here." Mario said to Luigi not wanting another discord to deal with. "okie dokie," Luigi said shaken and followed his brother out of the garden.
Mario and Luigi continued their go through of the entire castle, and eventually ended up at the castle's labyrinth. There stood another figure. That figure, was a figure Mario and Luigi never had the pleasure of meeting.
"Hey, you!" Luigi called out to the figure.
The figure simply turned, then without saying a word was right next to Mario and Luigi. "You rang?" was the only thing he'd said.
"Wha!"
"Oh no!"
"Heh," you two are too slow the figure said. "No way either one of you'd win a battle against me."
Mario then said "I want to take you up on that bet."
"Oh, Really?" the figure said. "I must warn you, I'm the most dangerous human you'll ever meet.
"Well, Let's a go!"
"Okie dokie"

The figure had immense speed as seen before and neither Mario nor Luigi could call their command blocks to attack. The figure went to attack Mario "This is for the bet." He'd said as he brought out a couple of rocket hammers. The hammers hit Mario dead on. The figure now targeted Luigi.
Luigi, unlike Mario, was prepared, for once. He had his hammer ready and phew, bop! Hammers collide. "Oh yea!" Mario went for a jump on the mysterious man. "Sorry you're going to need more 'pow' than that." he simply said. Luigi tried a hammer attack. That didn't collide at all with the figure as he was simply too fast and dodged.
"My turn."
He went to kick Luigi who tried before to hammer him. the figure then kicked Luigi. Luigi couldn't remember a worse feeling except that one time he'd gotten falcon kicked. 'No wonder he called himself the most dangerous human' Luigi thought hoping to be ready for the next attack.
The figure then stood still for a little bit "Hit me with your best attack." He'd goaded the Mario bros.
Mario got ready the koopa shell, Luigi the fire flower. on Mario's turn they kicked back and fourth a koopa shell to damage the figure, however the figure was able to dodge a couple of them sending the shell back to Mario or Luigi.
On Luigi's turn, he and Mario both shared the power of a fire flower and began bombarding the figure with fire.
finally, he said "I concede." He smiled evilly.
Battle end

"Sorry to tell you guys," He said. "but that didn't even come close to scratching me."
"Mamma mia!" Mario shouted frustratedly "You've gotta be kidding me! I've already lost to Spike now you're telling..."
Mario had no time to finish as the figure knocked both him and Luigi out. "Easier than their RPG's." he said. he'd pitpocketed mario and only took one mushroom coin. "considering exchange rates and how much real gold is packed into a single coin, this is worth it." he noted running off. He had run off ready to continue the devious deed that he'd been assigned, or rather, that he'd accepted. It was slowly becoming night time, as Mario and Luigi were dazed and knocked out there was only one thing that had spurred them from their state of paralysis.
"WHAT ART THOU DOING!" there was a pause in Luna's Canterlot voice when suddenly she cried out
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" 
"Mamma Mia!" Mario said getting up off the ground dizzy and groggy.
"oh,ho" Luigi moaned getting up in the same condition as Mario.
as they had gotten up, and seen that it was night time, they heard only one thing to accompany it... Explosions.

...Meanwhile in ponyville...

Twilight was up doing some midnight studying, as that night was the night that a comet passed through the Horsehead nebula. she wrote her mini-lecture on a small piece of parchment, when suddenly she heard a clicking on the library's windows. feeling slightly anxious, she checked it out and found nothing. 
The wind, suddenly, blew violently, causing one of her unlatched windows to open and causing a new house guest to appear.
"Must be pretty chilly out there huh
"Who."
With this, Twilight isn't the only pony to receive a random welcome...
Fluttershy, after the comet shower, was sound asleep in her cottage. the wind was howling, however despite this, all the animals she'd taken care of were sound asleep in their homes. All was quiet on her little corner of Ponyville. however, a few hours more through the night, all her chickens had started a riot. Fluttershy immediately went to see what was going on. all her chickens were crowded in a corner as Elizibeak began to cluck what had happened.
"Oh, dear." Fluttershy said worriedly "So this egg came from the sky?"
Elizibeak clucked in agreement.
The egg  was whit as normal eggs are, however, as one looks closer at it there are green spots on the egg. "Well, I don't know what will come from it but an egg needs to be hatched." and so the remainder of the night, Fluttershy had put together an incubating tank for the egg, hoping that it will hatch eventually. "Elizibeak," Fluttershy said "Tell the rest of the flock that you are coming inside tonight."
The whole of the chicken barn entered and Elizibeak then clucked to fluttershy ("We have one condition for staying inside and warm,")
"What's that?" Fluttershy asked
("We don't want to be anywhere near that egg.") spending a couple of hours that night, Fluttershy made a one time accommodation to the flock, she'd let them sleep in her room. feeling satisfied and warm, she went to sleep and awaited tomorrow.

The Remainder of the night, however, for Mario and Luigi remained to be their longest as they had been asked by princess Celestia if they'd known who the attacker was who this time stole Luna's voice but returned her own.
"I want answers boys." Celestia said her patience running thin as they were all tired and groggy.
Mario after taking a huge breath then said "The only people we know of to have the power to steal voices and replace them with explosives is Cackletta and her minion Fawful." Mario said.
"The figure I saw tonight wasn't the one I saw last night. is it possible he's Fawful?"
"No." Luigi said "Fawful looks like a green bean, he has swirly glasses and a red cape." Luigi said.
"hmm," Celestia said thinking of what he looked like. "given your description, I don't think I've ever seen this character before."
"The figure," Mario was out of breath. "Wasn't Fawful nor Cackletta."
"Mario and Luigi," Celestia said sternly concerned. "I am wondering why does it look you just ran a marathon?"
Mario explained the altercation between the figure and themselves.
"I see, so you two get this way after you've been beaten in a fight." Celestia noted. "I have something from another alternative universe that may help you. There isn't much of it here at all, however have these two cups on me." Celestia hovered two tea cups to Mario and Luigi.
Mario and Luigi drank up the hot black steamy beverage. 
"Owowow!"
"Hoooot!" 
Mario and Luigi said jumping straight to the sealing of the castle. the bitterness of the beverage had healed Mario and Luigi completely.
"Thank you." both Mario and Luigi said.
"You're quite welcome, I'd given that to Luna after a bet she and I had not too long ago about roles here in Equestria."Celestia looked at her sister out on the balcony on a silent guard. "She'd tried to take over the day shift, however, That had proven too much for her. and after I'd gotten back, well, I'd given her that beverage for her usual night shift."
"That must have been a weird day."Luigi said.
"Oh, I didn't notice much of any difference." Celestia said silently keeping something from them.
"Well, we need to focus on finding Cackletta now." Luigi said
"Quite true Luigi." Celestia said "and I think I know where she might be hiding."
"Where?" Mario simply asked.
"I felt a small magical disturbance, Alicorns are able to sense such things as are other creatures in this fare land. However I'm sure your foe, or should I say, foes are hiding in Ms. Cherlee's school house back in Ponyville." 
Mario and Luigi immediately remembered one place from their travels in the Beanbean kingdom, Woohoo hooniversity. It was there that they'd fought Cackletta and beaten her, or thought to have beaten her. She had terrorized the students there and turned the professors into monsters.
"Mamma Mia, we need to go now!" Mario said hurriedly
"Let's go! and quickly!" Luigi followed


---Then again, in Ponyville---


It was a fine sunday night, children in bed and teachers getting ready for tomorrow. Cheerilee now, just remembered somthing important.
"Oh no! Oh no!" She said to her self "I can't believe I've left those in my desk, I must get them and grade them by tomorrow."
Soon after she'd said that she remembered a small thing Berry Punch had said to her once.
"You know, weird things happen to teachers who go in on the weekends." That was something that Cheerilee had passed off as a drunk saying and nothing more, Berry Punch usually was the one to show up drunk while seeming  completely normal. 
'What could possibly go wrong' Cheerilee thought to herself heading out her door and to the school.
It was quite an evening, the stars shining, the crickets were chirping and the moon shown overhead illuminating her path to the school. She looked up admiring the moon. There were no craters on the moon in the shape of a unicorn mare as she'd remembered for the longest time being there. Cheerilee thought, that had it not been for Twilight and her friends a month back, that there wouldn't be any days, but rather, nights. the wind blew causing a chill down Cheerilee's spine and causing her to hurry up and get her students' paper work.
She'd rushed into her school house, closing the door behind her in a hurry keeping out any cold that possibly could've come in. Cheerilee sighed in relief to be out of the cold, however, she noticed something different with her class room.
There was a green ominous glow about the room. There seemed to be whispers about the place, whispers about usurping the thrown of Celestia with a star, whispers claiming to have the voice of Luna herself. she shrugged this off, and went straight to her desk. She grabbed her papers and then looked out over the desks of her room and found that there were four robots set up in a circle in her room, and a green star sitting in the center of them all. 'ok, Maybe Berry Punch was right about this.' she thought anxiously. then after she thought;
"You hooligans had better get out of my class room!" she'd said that out loud, yelling it no less. A horde of shadow came after her and quickly she ran to the door turning on the lights. The now lighted room revealed that there were two figures there.
"You've seen too much," a green figure told her.
"If you want me to take her out, it'd be my pleasure, for coins that is." a hairless and tailless monkey said to the green figure.
"No, no, I must conserve my riches, especially if this voice you brought me didn't work out." The green greedy figure said, " Besides I was able to deal with teachers when I was first pursued by those troublesome boys from the mushroom kingdom." 
Another figure broke down the door and jumped into the fray. "Yahoo!" it yelled. this guy had on a red cap red shirt and blue overalls, and overall looked like a plumber. "Let's a go!" another figure right behind him said. that figure had on a green cap green shirt and the same overalls as the red guy, and admittedly looking the same. Cheerilee saw an 'L' on this green guy's cap and immediately thought 'please let this be my lucky break.'
"EEYARGH!" the green figure yelled, firing at Cheerilee. 
The poor teacher remained motionless, as her cutie mark slowly overtook her instead of being her purple color she slowly began to turn green her head began to depress at the muzzle becoming more like a human face, however at this point, golden petals had began to form out of her face much like the flowers she'd had on her flank. a moment more passed and she'd become a flower.
"Howdy," the flower said. "I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower!"
Mario Luigi and even Cackletta were weirded out by this talking flower.
"Well, Boys, Its been fun and all, However me and my assistant must be going."
The figure behind her, the same from the gardens said "look I'm not your assistant, If I'd wanted to, I could totally wipe you all on the floor."
"George." Cackletta simply said.
"Sorry, Cackle, this is your fight." The figure or rather George said. 
George left Cackletta and the remainder of the people and things in there.
Cackletta simply sighed then faced the Mario bros with a menacing grin. "Seems as though my magic has gotten a little rusty, I'm supposing the same for your hammers."
mario and Luigi brought out their hammers. They were shinier than a golden beany.
"Oh Great." Cackletta said to herself.
Cackletta began with a barrage of Lightning attacks at the Mario bros. "Still just as limber as I'd remembered."
"No matter," she said. "If you've still got the same moves I can counter what you've shown me."
Mario and Luigi took a moment to think, if the old attacks wouldn't work, then maybe the new ones will. 
Mario and Luigi planned on this and quickly Mario pulled out his red shell. Luigi readily gave Mario the thumbs up and together they attacked using the shell as a soccer ball of sorts valeting it between them with Cackletta being the middle net.
"GAH, you two are troublesome." Cackletta growled angrily. "You, however, Can't use that attack again without repercussions."
Cackletta was now on the offensive, she had brought out the same magic used before from the Beanbean Kingdom, Lighting bolts. Mario and Luigi easily dodged the telegraphed attacks and now it was Luigi's turn.
Luigi pulled out a fire flower
"Hey, That's my cousin you're using!" 'Flowey said.
"Mario Luigi and Cackletta disregarded that, and continued their assault. 
By absorbing the flower together the Mario bros temporarely became fire bros, and bombarded the wicked witch of the beanbean kingdom with fire, perhaps they should've used water, or maybe ice, whatever the case, Cackletta was still standing.
"FEEL MY WRATH!" Cackletta yelled. the school house and schoolyard began to shake and quake, as it had Lightning began to spew randomly through the battle ground destroying the floors and some of the desks. as it had, portals began coming from the ground those portals if they had hit the Mario bros would bring them from the floor to the cealing and slam them to the ground once more, However seeing this attack before made them pretty prepared for whatever Cackletta could throw at them. 
after that fine attack, Cackletta remembered her first defeat by the bros and found that it could've come from her lack of anger control, she then decided to calm down and take the situation seriously and suddenly she came up with a new attack.
"Hey, mushroom munchers, I bet you've never seen this move before."
Hearing this Mario and Luigi were pretty confident they had and decided to let Cackletta have an extra turn. Cackletta broke into bats, like before she had in the Mushroom kingdom; however, this time, the bats had a blue aura about them. charging random brothers the bats came for Mario and Luigi, however before slamming into them, they'd fired off condensed bolts of electricity. 
Hammers, Mario and Luigi thought right after that.
"EYAH HA HA HA," Cackletta cackled. "You fools are just as clumsy as before, thinking your fancy moves have anything on me. Well, I just thought of that move on the spot! There isn't anyway for you two to beat me now!"
Having had their bros attacks used and hearing that they can't use them now without repercussion, they decided to Regularly attack Cackletta with Hammers and stomping on her head.
This had gone on for quite a long time. Cackletta after hours of continuously attacking the Mario bros. just flopped. "You win..." Cackletta said.
Experience aside, how does a battle last more than one hour tops?
Cackletta had gotten back up and then she now towered over the Mario bros.
Taking a defensive stance the bros were ready for another attack.
"You two are a troublesome thorn in my side, however, I bet that with my wish, you won't be able to to beat me!" she said cackling "EYAHAHAHA!" 
The robots began to speak again, the first time for Mario and Luigi, and the beanstar in the center of the room began to cringe yet again wanting nothing more for the impure voice to get out of its ears, it began to float angrily up. noticing this Cackletta made quick haste and turned off the bots.
"GRRRRAH!" she yelled "Every time I do this, I'm foiled by either you or the princesses of wherever! I AM TIRED OF THIS! I WANT MY WISH! I NEED THIS..." Cackletta said. she was angrier than, well, rage its self.
Out of nowhere, Twilight fired off a blast of her magical energy and shot at Cackletta. Cackletta, whom was enraged beyond belief foresaw this coming and simply dodged. "You're going to have to do better than that, pony..."
"The name's Twilight." she said "and I must ask why were you hiding out in this school of all places?"
"Its none of your concern honey." Cackletta said in a voice that would give anybody a chill of fright. "I'll be back and I guarantee a world of pain." she said while grabbing the beanstar and flying off. The human in the room made a stealthy escape as well not being detected by Twilight, However being discovered by a mint mare outside.
"HUMAN!!!"
"No no no!"
Slam!
"Please come to my anthropology club."
"Fine, whatever."
"Bye~"

"So, Mario, Luigi what happened here and where's Cheerilee?" Twilight asked after the commotion outside.
Mario and Luigi explained to Twilight that somehow, some way, after beating her soul, Cackletta is back and is planning on causing mischief in Equestria.
"Well what's going to happen now?"
Mario and Luigi thought back to their superstar adventure, however, no answer came to mind as this is the first time she'd escaped unscathed.
"We need a safe place to chat Twilight." Mario said
"We should head straight to your library 
"Well where's cheerilee?" Twilight asked. "I can't really leave this place without a teacher to teach her young foals and fillies."
Mario Luigi and Twilight went over to the teacher's desk and found amongst the papers a golden flower. "Waddya want?" the flower said.
Twilight trying all her might tried a reversal spell to change this flower back into a pony teacher. with time and concentrated effort the spell was reversed and slowly but surely Cheerilee returned to her former state "What the hell just happened..." was all that had escaped her lips.
Mario Luigi and Twilight all tried to explain the situation, however this all went over cheerilee's head. "You know, Its the weekend. " she said to the trio. "and I want you all out of my school house." Collecting up her papers, she, Mario, Luigi, and Twilight all headed outside. There Cheerilee said "Thank you."
"For what?" Twilight asked.
"For sparing me that horrible fate."
"oh, it was no trouble."
"Well, Twilight I hope you have a wonderful day. and I'd like it if you could supervise the science fare that's going to happen sometime soon.
"I will, just as soon as I get a date Cheerilee."
"Thanks much Twilight."
"No problem," Twilight said back. "See you later." 
Walking away from the school house, Mario Luigi and Twilight began their walk to golden oaks Library.
"So, anything new happen while we were gone?" Mario asked
"Well, I got a new night time assistant, and he's really been bugging Spike.
"Who's the assistant?"
"He's an owl," Twilight said. "His name is Owlowiscious."
Mario thought the name just wasn't too cleaver at all, whilst Luigi just chuckled about it.
Just then, an owl flew down and landed on Twilight's back.
"Who." the owl greeted.
"Its a me Mario." the owl simply nodded.
"And Me the legendary Luigi!"
"who?" Owlowiscious questionably hooted.
"Luigi Mario's Brother."
"who."
"Loo EEE GEE" Luigi said to the owl.
"Who."
Luigi got angry however, Twilight simply interpreted for her pet; "He gets it Luigi."
"oh, ok." Luigi said calming from his anger.
Twilight and the bros quickly made it home in the late afternoon, and as they had they walked in right Spike's revenge plan was nigh complete. He was walking backwards with ketchup covered feet tossing feathers from Twilight's pillow across the floor.
"Muahahahahahaha!" Spike laughed with a black cape on a formidable top had and quite the respectable attachable mustache.
Spike bumped into Twilight immediately ditching the evil count getup.
"That poor little field mouse." spike said. "Torn to pieces..."
Mario and Luigi simply looked at this foolhardy plan and had remained silent letting the trouble come to spike.
"It must have been Owlowiscious!"
Mario Luigi and Twilight all remain silent.
"You know cos owls eat mice." he retorted. "What a terrible, terrible bird. He must be punished... Right?"
"Spike!" Twilight said. "I don't know what's worse. the fact that you'd deliberately set up Owlowiscious like that or you actually thinking this pathetic attempt would actually work. Jealousy has gotten the best of you, you're not acting like the spike I love."
Twilight left with Owlowiscious on her back, Mario and Luigi followed suit for spike to wallow in self pity over what he'd done, and quite possibly over what Twilight had said to him.
"Sorry about that boys, He's been really at it with owlowiscious and who's the best assistant and all." Twilight said. "So, How about some Lunch?"
Hours pass as Mario Luigi and Twilight are unaware of what spike was actually doing. Fluttershy comes along to see that Twilight and the bros are at lunch.
"Fluttershy!" Mario called 
"Ah!" she screamed not quite familiar to Mario's voice. she looked over after her small fit of terror and saw that it was indeed a friend who'd called. "Oh, hi Mario." she said.
"How are you Fluttershy?" Twilight asks her friend.
"Oh, I'm doing fine, just been a little tired is all."
"Why's that?" Mario asked
"I've been keeping my eye on a peculiar egg that just appeared out of nowhere."
"Hmm," Mario thought for a moment then asked, "could I see the egg."
Fluttershy had the egg in her mane and had brought it out as gently as she could. The egg was white with spots of green covering some parts of it. Mario now recognized this egg.
"That's a Yoshi egg!"
"A what?" Fluttershy and Twilight asked.
"A Yoshi egg," Mario said again. "in our world Luigi and I have a few trusted partners that we sometimes ask for help in rescuing our princess and that is Yoshi."
"I didn't know that they could be of such service." Fluttershy said "I didn't even know what was going to hatch from it, I was just going to take care of whatever did hatch from it no matter what."
Mario Luigi and Twilight saw the element of kindness shimmer slightly against the afternoon backdrop of the day from fluttershy.
"Well, I'd better go and hatch this egg." Fluttershy said.
Twilight Mario and Luigi said their farewells to Fluttershy and they too left to return home.
