"It had come down to this. Coda aka Darknote was there to protect his human friends from the being who had but one goal. To kill the ones who had done nothing but bring her heartbreak.
"Adagio, I did not betray you. You lost your own way. You got surrounded by your own self empowerment. Leave these humans alone. They don't deserve this." Coda said as he kept his serpent eyes locked onto Adagio.
"Self empowerment. Sonata and Aria both knew I was the Alpha they followed my every order....That's why they are dead." Adagio charged after coda who had now turned into his full siren form. The two massive reptiles collided with Adagios maw immediately grasping around the neck of the other. Her being of alpha status made her much bigger then even a male Beta. Ron saw as his friend was under attack.
"Rainbow get me the gun that's hung above the bar." Ron said as he rushed in towards Adagio. "Sweetheart let go of him." He said trying to calm the massive serpent he had once loved. Adagios massive eyes looked in Ron's direction. Her massive mouth let go of the other siren who was playing dead/ Coda hit the ground with a large thud. The lights around them were reacting to the power coming off Adagio. Her fins were making notions of anger as she looked at Ron. they were flexed to points much like a fish out of water. Her snout was now down at his level as she appeared like she could strike at any moment. Ron reached out a hand and touched her snout which made her fins flex more. Then oddly enough a whine seemed to come from Adagio as her raspberry eyes were now filled with tears as she was distracted by her now love slash sadness. "I'm sorry Adagio, I never wanted to hurt you." He said as he rubbed her massive snout. Adagios lower lip trembled as her fins were dropping down in sadness. the antennas on her head also dropping down as her saddened eyes stared at him. She was unable to see what Rainbow was getting.
"T-then w-why?" Adagio uttered as she stared more intently. Her fins started to glow in a bioluminescence of red as she was slowly growing agitated again. Ron stayed calm as her got closer and hugged her snout. Adagio's Bioluminescence changed to a blue color to show she was sad. That's when Ron saw out of the corner of his eye that Castoke was fighting Rainbow for the gun. He seemed to be in a blind anger as he pulled it away pointing it right at the large serpent. Adagio's eyes looked right at Castoke, who appeared to be under some kind of mind control. Adagio let out a roar as Catoke shot off the gun. The bullet ricocheted off her large skull as she bite down on the gun and tossed the smaller person aside and into the pool. As she was about to attack him Coda came in from the side and bit her. Adagio let out a cry that made the lightbulbs around the pool overload and explode. Ron shook his head in a saddened way as he went to go see if Rainbowdash was alright. Her truly never wanted any of this to happen. Coda appeared to be having the upper hand now as he was biting increasingly hard on Adagios neck. whos eyes were filled with tears. There was a crunching sound that came from Adagio. Another cry came from her, As her whole body lit up. She let out a loud noise that plowed into coda as if it were a solid force. This knocked the serpent off of her as she slowly got up. blood was draining from her neck as she saw Ron by Rainbow. Adagio's eyes immediately shifted to red as her amulet started to turn her back to a human form. She now stood in her red dress not far from them. One hand was placed on her neck as she was still bleeding. She held out her other hand as a loud noise came from her mouth. The sound waves knocked Ron away from Rainbow.
"Adagio don't~!" said a voice to her right. Adagio turned her head slowly to see the Spiderwick person. "you don't have to do this...your hurt."
"They are the reason I am hurt~!" Adagio said as she was getting dizzy from the blood that was coming from her neck.
"I know your pain...I too have felt betrayed. Seeking out revenge got me nowhere but more pain." Spiderwick said as she slowly tried to walk over to Adagio.
"that plan may have failed for you...It isn't going to fail for me." Adagio let out a singing note as she flickered and teleported to Ron and Rainbow whom were running for the closed Canterlot high. Spiderwick started to run after them as well as Adagio was simply walking after them. Ron and Rainbow had managed to break into the School with a relentless Adagio after them. They ran till they made it to the Gym were Adagio also was. Ron saw her and he stopped running.
"Adagio don't hurt her. hurt me, I'm the one who hurt you." Ron said as he moved Rainbow to be behind him. His eyes were now also filled with anger. Adagio smiled softly as she nearly fell to her knees as she was losing blood still.
"I have to kill you both or one will be a reminder of the other." adagio held out her hand as she was ready to release another sound barrage.
"Adagio I loved you. Why do you have to resort to this. We weren't meant for each other?" Ron said as he slowly began to walk towards her.
"stay away from me. s-stay back" Adagio fell to her knees as her vision was now doubled an blurry. Adagio had no strength to hold her hand on her neck anymore. The visible bite mark was still slightly bleeding as she was running low on blood for it to spew out.
"Adagio. Remember when you were in my house for the first time. Remember the time I couldn't stop looking at you?" Ron mentioned as Adagio slowly began to think back to the time.
Adagio looked around as she entered the kitchen. Her vibrant eyes flaring with gleam as the light reflected off of them. Ron was bedazzled by the color and beauty contained in even just her eyes. Ron was going to try and say something but word were failing to slide off his tongue.
"Who were you talking to?" Adagio questioned as she glanced at the cell phone that Ron was grasping tightly.
"Hey lady I think it's none of your business... I was talking tooooo a friend." Ron raised a brow at Adagio as he was both entranced in her beauty and dumbfounded by how uncomfortable he felt around her.
"Sorry, sorry, You are right I shouldn't snoop into your business." Adagio said in a rather soft voice as she began to grow slightly tired.
"Maybe you should lay down, you look tired." Ron said as he noticed the tiresome look deep within Adagios eyes.
"Your right, I could use a little bit of rest." Adagio said as she yawned.
"Then how about you head to the spot you slept last night. I have no problem with you sleeping in my bed....as...of...right now." Ron smiled as he began to feel even more awkward about this whole situation. He didn't know why but there was a growing attraction to this lady he didn't even know. Hell he didn't even know her name.
Adagio opened her eyes after remembering the time. She looked back up as her vision was still blurry. Ron was slowly getting closer to her.
"I said Stay BACK~!" Adagio said as she let out a random sound in a direction she could hardly see. The sound missed Ron and Rainbow by a mile but was enough to rupture a pipeline below the gym floor which was a gas line. The gas quickly turned into a flame thrower which launched flame right up into the ceiling. The metal beams were aluminum and steel. The steel wouldn't melt anytime soon. As for the aluminum it had started to melt on the impact of the flame. Ron and Rainbow flinched as the pipeline exploded. Adagio, Ron, and rainbow would all start to run as the ceiling started to cave in. As they rushed for the outside Ron noticed Adagio was not following anymore.
"Rainbow get outside I have to go back for her~!" He turned and started to run. Rainbow wanted to tell him to stay but he was already gone. Ron rushed through Flame that was now on the floor and walls around him. He made it back to the Gym as he saw Adagio had been pinned down by a beam that was half melted. Ron made it to her side and immediately tried to move the beam off her. His first attempt had little to no affect. Adagio looked at him as ash was in her hair.
"Ron leave this place is going to fall apart." She reached and placed a hand on his cheek.
"what about you~!" Ron yelled out. "I don't want to leave you~!" Ron started to push on the beam again. He yelled out as his muscles gave in from making no difference. Adagio slid her hand on his cheek.
"I spent this whole time fighting for what I loved. W-which w-was you." her eyes were filled with tears again as she was still bleeding from her neck. "I just wanted you back......Go... Rainbow needs you more then I will." Adagio started to cry slightly as she felt se was close to her end. "I'll b-be able to h-hold my Friends again." her lower lip quivered as she closed her eyes to let tears fall. She opened them slowly once again as another explosion went off down the hall.
"Adagio, don't you fucking talk like that." Ron started to push the beam again as he started to progress on getting it off of her. "Your not my girlfriend but still love you enough to not let you...Die" He managed to get the beam off of Adagio who now appeared to be losing consciousness. Ron picked her up and started to make his way out of the burning and collapsing building. He stumbled the whole way there as his own guilt and sadness started to overtake him. Ron stumbled out of the Exit and onto the grassy ground outside. He slowly and softly lowered Adagio to the ground. It was as he had feared, Adagios eyes were glazed over and cloudy. She had passed away. Ron slowly placed a kiss on her forehead as he used two fingers to close her eyes. He was the reason this had happened. He had opened her heart and crushed it. Rainbow slowly made her way over to them as Paramedics started to pick her up. Ron fought as hard as he could not wanting them to take her away. After they had got her on the stretcher The paramedics and police started to pull Ron away. The left the body on the stretcher and by itself. Two hooded girls walked up to the stretcher. One placed her purple hand on Adagios head.
"such a same she had to die. Maybe that three lives thing will turn out to be real." the voice was that of Aria blaze.
"Or maybe we all end up having only two." sonata said as she tried to hold back tears.
"shut up you idiot and help me put her necklace back on." Aria said as she picked it up off the ground. "we have to do this, I have to know." Aria slipped the necklace around Adagio's neck In the depths of Adagios mind flashed all the hatred her amulet had gathered from the previous fight with Ron. the love she felt all her memories coming back to her as Adagio's eyes shot open.
