The midnight moon was still up and that Twilight's friends have agreed to have a sleepover while Edward Frost is taking some sleep wondering of what's it like in Equestria. When waking up, he sees that he's still in Twilight's room on her bed to which he just got to take a stroll around her house. Noticing a faint light downstairs, he got up off the bed and headed to the source.
'Hmmmmm there's a light on. I wonder which pony is still up at this hour?' Edward said yawning a bit.
When walking downstairs to avoid anything hitting he sees the five ponies still sleeping with their somewhat sleeping bags. It was really adorable to him of seeing ponies does have some intelligence or resembling a human. That confirms that Twilight might be still up and he headed where the light is. He has some casual clothes on and that would be embarrassing walking around naked.
"Hey there Twilight, having some troubles not getting any naps?" He said sitting down and seeing her like a bad time out of bed.
Twilight moved her head to the right on her table and sees Edward walking in then sitting beside her on the table.
"Hey Edward, yeah I have some trouble sleeping sometimes. My friends have also trouble too the same way."
"Must be something important that you can't think straight I guess. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"No, no, it's okay to at least tell you something. You see um, when me any my friends were having good and bad times every other day, it's like there is something else that is missing in our lives together." Twilight said hanging her head down.
"You don't suppose that there is someone or somepony is not there with all of you anyway?" Edward raised his eyebrow.
"Perhaps that is a possibility that none of us have been really happy about. Back when the Cutie Mark Crusaders have told us about how we earned our cutie marks, it was Rainbow Dash that made the sonic rainboom when all six of us have finally found our special talents. It was at that point all of us have a connection that we're all friends bound by the Elements of Harmony."
"Hmmm that's really an interesting life you and your friends had on every other adventures here in Equestria, no objection here from me. So what happened when finding that out?"
"After finding out about that we had a bond of friendship, we talked a little bit on how we actually got our special talent. All of us had some stories when every one of us had help from the same somepony and then he vanished after we earned our cutie marks. We all really miss him so long ago, but we don't know of what he really looks like back then."
"Well I can talk to your friends about that later. Which reminds me though that I almost forgot, I have something for you."
Edward walked back upstairs for a minute to grab his bag belonging and searched for anything. He found some kind of horse doll to which maybe it belongs to somebody. When heading downstairs with his backpack while not waking up the other ponies, he made it back to the kitchen and sat back down that Twilight was confused, but then her eyes widen when he put the doll beside her.
"This here is some horse doll. Think of it as a thank you for having a nice conversation with, so uh goodnight Twilight."
"Wait a minute...S-S-Smarty Pants?! H-How did you find my-" She was cut off as Edward was already back in Twilight's room.
'There's just so many questions, so many unanswered. Why am I here in Equestria?' He thought as he went back to sleep.

Later that same night. . .

While Edward, Spike, and the other ponies were asleep, something strange is happening to James's pendant along with the six items that he gave to Twilight and her friends. The pendant has floated out of his bag and the six items had joined in as well. It was glowing bright white as it had split into six small orbs. Each one has entered into Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy's heads. When the bright lights have stopped glowing several seconds later, the pendant went back into the bag as if nothing had ever happened. Spike had just jolted up awake to see what just happened, but nothing was not out of the ordinary since he thought he just heard something. So Spike just shrugs it off and closed his eyes to go back to sleep.

The next morning...

The sun has now rise into Ponyville at Twilight's room window as bright light hits Edward in his face. He was groaning trying to close the close the curtains, but then opened his eyes to see that he's still in Twilight's house from having a sleep over.
"Jeez I should've just brought my alarm clock to wake my ass up. My brother and sister does actually think that it's funny of pulling some water on me while day dreaming, but at least that's gonna be a relief from them." He said getting up to stretch his arms up.
'Great, now I'm really stinky around my body. Guess it's time to hit the showers.' He thought as he went to the bathroom.
Some minutes had passed since being in the bathroom as he's finishing up brushing his teeth. It was some good thinking of bringing things that needs to be spotless, but for his clothes their gonna need some cleaning soon.
"Now that things are taken cared of... wait a minute is someone knocking on the bathroom door?" He said when getting dressed.
"Hey Edward, are you in there buddy? Me and the girls need to talk to you when your ready." Dash said hearing a response.
"Oh uh it's just you Rainbow. I'll be done in about a few minutes."
Rainbow Dash had an excited smile on her face as she flew downstairs in the living room to tell Twilight and the others that he'll be ready in a few moments. Edward has now left the bathroom to get his bag packed up. When walking downstairs to see what's up with the girls, he notices that everything's spotless clean and he then turned to see the six ponies had smiles on their faces.
'What's up with these girls?' He thought while thinking about it and stop in front of the mares.
"Uh anybody or any pony care to explain what's going on in this room here?" Edward tilting his head then scratch his neck.
"Edward don't you remember any of us? You helped me on learning about friendship." Twilight said with sparkly eyes.
"Uh are you okay Twi-"
"Sugarcube you've helped ma'h family out an made us some of yer delicious rarest apples." Applejack said taking her hat off.
"Now your acting we-"
"I remembered that you stood up to those bullies when they knocked me out of Cloudsdale when they were really beating up and that you fought them off with no injuries! Even though I was on the ground when you found me in bad shape and even telling you that I didn't need any help, you didn't want to ignore leaving me like that. You've helped me patch up my wings and told me never listen to what other pony says, you'll be the fastest flying pegasi in all of Equestria!" Rainbow said flying around happy.
"Uh cool Rainbow, bu-"
"You helped me out too Edward. Even though it was hard for me to take care of the animal, you weren't s-scared of any of them that tried to attack you since you've always had the kindest smile to the animals." Fluttershy whispered.
"Well uh Fluttershy I-"
"Oh! Oh! Oh! My turn every pony, Edward you had some fun time and laughter everywhere you go! Even though that me and my family have not always been that, you helped me realize it's always helpful of cheering up every pony!" Pinkie said bouncing.
"Wait, you too Pinkie-"
"Edward dear, you helped me that it's not always about having the perfect fashion, but to know of which is really the right one to put on since then. It was really hard for me to let go of anything important, but I remember to stick with my friends." Rarity said.
Edward then froze of what these mares were telling, thinking back on what they were saying.
'Wait a second, all of them know that it was me that helped get their cutie marks?' He thought, shocked of what he heard.
"I-I um don't know of what all of you mean by that, but just let me think for a minute." He said when having his hands hold his head.
'Are they telling the truth about me? Did I really visited them all 8 years ago? I don't know if I really did since being a kid after all of these years. I thought they didn't recognized me when coming here in Ponyville, what's going on? This is really strange to me and am I getting a migraine headache again or is it something else?' He thought as he suddenly collapsed on the floor with his head in pain.
The girls notice this and they rushed to his side to see what's happening to him.
"Edward are you alright there buddy?! Is there something wrong with your head?" Dash said worrying about him as she holds her hooves tight by his arms to see if he's alright.
"I-I DON'T KNOW RAINBOW, S-SOMETHING IS TRYING TO CRACK OPENED INSIDE OF MY MIND!" He shouted holding his head.
"Hold on there Edward, I have a head injury relief spell that can help you out." Twilight said then she used her magic to surpress anything that is going on inside his head.
'Dammit what is this headache of mine?! It's like something is trying to tell me to remember them! I don't know if I remember any of them here! Why is this happening to me now all of a sudden... wait a sec. I remember a promise to be friends with them and to make sure that they need be safe from someone or something. Whatever or whoever is out there must be stopped. I also remember that I just teleported out of Equestria, but I don't have any magic or learning anything about it and that I didn't get to say goodbye to them. My memory must have been blocked from seeing the death of my father and the girl that I cared about since those horrible scenes.' He thought calming down from remembering of how he got here and back to his home.
"Are you feeling alright now Edward? You've had us all worried there when you suddenly collapsed." Twilight said relived the spell worked that it made him feel more calmer now.
"Yes Twilight, um it was actually that something was unlocked in my own memories, sorry if I worried any of you when I did that unexpected. Um girls there's something that I want to tell you all." Edward said as all of the mares perked up in attention. "I think that I've remembered being friends with you. I'm really truly sorry that I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to any of you since I had to get back with my family. Can any of you forgive me for abandoning all of you like that in the past?"
The girls were relived now and very happy that he remembers them. They then group hugged him in the center library leaving with happy tears and some laughs. Edward at first thought that they were gonna punch him or something since he deserves it, but he was very surprised and shocked a bit from seeing them hug him. It was really happy to him seeing his old friends again.
'I'm so sorry girls, I'll try my very best to make things up after all these years.' He though while some tears fell down his face.
"I'm still a little mad at you Edward that you didn't get to see me of after how cool the sonic rainboom is, but I'm really glad that you came back to m- er I mean to us. I forgive you on one condition, two days from now your enjoying a picnic with all of us." Dash said felt relieved of what she almost was gonna say.
"It's okay Rainbow, I would love get to know all of you again and see what's been going on, sound good every pony?"
All of them nodded their heads as they packed up and headed outside back to their homes leaving only Edward, Twilight, and Spike in the library. Before Edward was gonna say something, he heard something that just fallen outside of the window like he's being watched from maybe some pony. He just shrugged it off to not worry about it.
"Okay then Twilight, since I will be living in Ponyville for a while, is there some way to be a citizen here?" He asked for a solution.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot, you can walk with me to the Mayor's office so that we can get you to introduce you to every pony here in Ponyville. Don't worry though, they will get scared or hide from you, but you can at least get to know them well." She answered to him.
"Hum, it could be some bumpy road ahead so why not? Care to join us Spike, it could be more fun with me around."
"Sure thing Edward, I would to hear more interesting things about what's it like on your planet." Spike said finishing his meal.
When the three had finished up eating breakfast, they soon headed out of Twilight's home locking everything up. While heading up a road to the Mayor's office, other ponies were either frozen in fear or running away from Edward's appearance.
'Well it looks like they won't get use to me for a while. Better be on my best behavior I guess.' He thought thinking of a good plan.
"Hey Spike, would you like a piggyback ride on my head?" Edward said smiled while humming a note.
"Are you sure that it's alright for me? I would eventually fall off and get hurt." Spike said felt uneasy.
"Nonsense Spike I can use one of my hands to hold you balance in case you fall off."
Spike just shrugs off the worrying as he nodded his head. Edward carefully picked him up in the air and he turned him around to position his legs between Edward's neck. Spike had his eyes wide open to see everything seen clearly up high.
Going down further up ahead passing by other houses, Edward was humming some songs in his mind.
'Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm desert you.'
