"I know you think that we won't be able to talk to them without them suspecting us doing something in private, but you know, we could still tell them. Like in a different way. Maybe we could even just tell them the straight truth, you know what I mean?"
Twilight replied to Rainbow,
"Yea, but I'm pretty sure, well no offence but apart from Fluttershy who would get really sad about us doing stuff without her, Applejack and Rarity would be fine with it but Pinkie, she would use her Pinkie Sense and figure things all out, like what we are hiding and leaving her out. She might get really hurt., and you know that we don't want that, right Twilight?"
Twilight nodded,
"Yea, I guess Pinkie does have Pinkie sense and stuff, and Fluttershy is quite emotional, but it doesn't mean we can't try?"
Soarin raised a hand,
"May I speak?"
"Yea," Twilight and Dash both replied.
"I thought we could just maybe get them occupied, so we will have time to do other stuff...?"
"That seems kind of mean....but it would be the only thing to work...." Dash replied.
Soarin nodded and turned to look at Twilight who was stretching her chin thoughtfully. The purple winged aligirl opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out.
"Twilight, what do you think of Soarin's idea? Do you think we should do it?" Rainbow asked smiling.
"I guess it could work, I mean our friends would get hurt though, don't you think we shouldn't hurt them?"
Soarin crossed his fingers that Dash wouldn't think less of him coming up with an idea that could hurt her friends, but to his luck she just grinned at him.
"Mr Pie-lover may not have the right idea, but we could work of it, make a new idea that is less hurtful but could work, you know what I mean?"
Soarin nodded happily, he felt really great that she didn't judge him for having an idea that could hurt her friends, but then he might have gone a bit over the top with thinking that she would judge him, Soarin blanked out.
"Earth to Soarin, earth to Soarin!" Twilight said frantically, she seemed worried.
"We need to come up with a better idea, an idea that won't hurt anybody, I was thinking if they could help us, or maybe....maybe we can just tell the truth, sometimes the truth hurts..."
Both Rainbow and Soarin agreed that it was for the best.
Twilight walked over to Pinkie, Rarity , Fluttershy and Applejack nervous.
"Where have you been dear?" Rarity asked looking at Twilight with concern.
"I was um..doing something with..uh....Spike!...Yes...I was doing something with Spike and uh....Rainbow was having some uh...alone time with Soarin...heh...heh?" Twilight put up a hue fake grin, Thank god she wasn't the element of honesty.
"Oh..um okay?" Fluttershy said.
"Well, anyway I was going to ask you a question, I wanted to know if you guys would be okay if Soarin Rainbow and I did some research about some stuff....stuff that we don't even know about yet....?"
"Sure...I guess....?" Fluttershy said,
"I mean we will still be friends right...?"
"Of course!" Twilight answered,
"I'm so glad you understand!"
"Yes darling, we're your friends, we understand when you need some time to yourself, and AJ, Pinkie, Shy ad I can maybe start a game of our own...?"
The others nodded.
"Thank you guys so much!" Twilight said smiling so big that she wasn't so sure she could smile anymore!
She needed to get this all back to Rainbow and Soarin, they would be so pleased that she had managed to get it all through to the others. Twilight practically skipped all the way back to her room upstairs with Dash and Soarin still sitting in there.
"So..? How'd it go?" Rainbow was the first to speak.
"You wouldn't believe what they said! THEY UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING!!! EEEK! WE DIDN'T HAVE TO LIE!" Twilight spread her wings out and started fluttering them up and down.
Rainbow looked up at her,
"Yes, I think we understand Twi, maybe you want to start the research? Instead of wasting time....?"
she quickly put her hand over her mouth releasing how much she sounded like Twilight.
"Yes, we should shouldn't we." Twilight said smiling and looking over at Soarin who was grinning.
"Maybe we could start already?" Soarin replied grabbing a book off the shelf titled: "Creepy stuff that doesn't make sense", he opened it to the first page of the chapter "Voices and Ghosts" and read;
"Some Voices are heard from a figure when the figure is dealing from a headache or some illness that will make your head hurt. The voices may also appear when people are stressed or are having trouble deciding or making up their mind. These examples of hearing voices only affect Pegagirls and Pegaboys. Both Earth Girls and Earth Boys, Unigirls and Unisys are immune to this type of voice hearing. Soarin flipped through the book, Rainbow placed her head on his shoulder and peered into the book.
"Page 345, Other voices" She read aloud so both Twilight and Soarin could hear.
"Earth girls and boys happen to be immune to hearing voices, after research done by Princess Luna. There bodies don't react the same way with the magic that the Pegagirls and boys and Unigirls and boys, on second hand, Unigirls and boys or even Aligirls or boys usually have a magical shield protecting them against magical features of voices. One of the only voices they are able to hear, are voices that are forms of Dark Magic."
