Everyone was panicking because of the 'Changeling' attack. I stood there for a moment, then asked, "What's a 'Changeling'?"
Celestia answered, "They are bug-like creatures that can be able to shape-shift into anyone and feed on love, literally."
"They can shape-shift AND feed on love!? Jesus Christ, and I thought the Super Mutants were bad, but this?!" I replied.
I stood there for another moment,sighed, and then said, "Well I guess it's time to show them what for, right?"
I equipped myself with the minigun when Celestia asks, "Are you sure? You never faced them before."
I answered, "If I'm able to defeat the upcoming darkness that you talked about, then I am able to take these guys down easily, besides I face Deathclaws that are far worst than these freaks."
I continued to walk out until I stopped, turned around and said, "Also, you might get this city evacuated for the time being, cause this here is going to make a hell of a mess."
They nodded and the Mane 6, along with Shining and a large group of guards, followed me into the city.
I arrive in the city with people evacuated to somewhere safe and seeing the Changelings charging at us. I raised my minigun at them, then turned to Shining and said, "You guys might want to stay behind me, because I really don't want a friendly fire. You know, so that I won't accidentally injured you guys, plus it will be easier to know who's friend or foe."
He nodded and ordered his guards to stay behind me. I then look at the Changelings, who stopped because of my presence, yelling, "In the name of Steel, die, you filthy monsters!"
I then started my minigun and started to mow them down while I slowly advance onward with the Mane 6 and Shining and his guards. There were a lot of these guys coming at me but did not stand a chance.
Queen Chrysalis was present, watching her army charging into the city, on how she gotten her army into the city, is when she has some of her Changelings disguised as guards and opened the gates while the army was able to charge in. She was proud of it, until she heard a strange noise, which was coming closer and closer. She muttered, "What in Tartarus is that?"
Then a Changeling came up and said, "Th-they have some kind of metal golem with a weapon of sorts, killing all of the troops, your highness!"
Chrysalis was shocked, then became angered by this. But quickly went away when she saw the metal golem herself. She then threw an attack spell at the creature.
"Watch out, Vaughn!" Dash yelled out.
Then I was hit by a blast that made me felt like I was hit by a missile. I recovered and looked at my attacker and notice that it was a leader of some kind.
"Queen Chrysalis! I thought you learned your lesson by now." Dash yelled out.
I thought, 'A queen!? Terrific, just fucking terrific!'
Chrysalis hissed, "I would have won if it weren't for your pet!"
I simply said, "Well aren't you a fucking bitch! And I have a name, you know!"
Chrysalis was shocked at my response and asks, "Who are you?"
"I am Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel, and here are your choices. One, you can go back where you came from and never come back or two, I kill you where you stand. So what's it going to be?" I replied as I raised my minigun.
She thought for a moment and then said, "Fine! You may win this time, but I will return!"
She then disappear in a snap as well as the other Changelings. Every guard cheered and greeted me as a hero of sorts. I thought, 'This maybe over, but the overall isn't.'
The Mane 6 came up to me in either excitement or uncertainty. Dash cheered, "That was awesome!! You were taking down waves of those Changelings like they were nothing!"
Twilight asks, "How were you able to easily shrug off Chrysalis' attack like that?"
I answered, "Well for one, this power armor I'm wearing is built to withstand a lot of attacks like that, except not exactly like that, but still, and two, it felt like a missile hit me, and I've been hit by those a lot."
Fluttershy came up and ask me, "Are you alright?! Are you hurt?!"
I responded, "Yes Fluttershy, I'm alright."
Rarity came up and said, "Your suit may be hideous, no offense, but it really is durable as you say it is."
Shining Armor came up to me and said, "Well I got to admit, you really are an outstanding soldier, Vaughn."
I replied, "Thank you sir."
Then Celestia, Luna, and Cadence came up to me and the others. Celestia asks, "How were you able to convince Chrysalis to leave peacefully?"
I answered, "Well besides being a walking war machine that took out almost an entire army, I really don't know."
I then asked Celestia, "Have they done this before? Like this kind of an attack?"
Celestia answered, "No, not completely. They done similar attacks but not as well planned out like this."
I stood there for a moment, then concluded, "Then there's something else at work, but who?"
Chrysalis came back to the Hive with anger and hatred against the one named, 'Vaughn'. Her trained of thought was interrupted by a voice. "So, how the....invasion turned out?" an old man asked.
"It was going very smoothly until those Bearers of Harmony brought a large, talking metal golem with a weapon similar to your soldiers are carrying." Chrysalis answered.
"Did it say anything? Did it say who it is?" asked the old man.
Chrysalis answered, "Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel."
The old man stood there in silent, then said, "Interesting. Maybe you want to hear my strategy, Chrysalis?"
Chrysalis answered, "Yes, General Deathshead."
