Earth and Equestria began to move towards each other, being pulled together by dark energy. They collided first, then both worlds fused together creating a fusion world of both Earth and Equestria. As the worlds merged, the inhabitants began to notice each other, the ponies noticing the humans and the humans the ponies. Various building began fusing together: Erine's BrainFreeze with The Hay Burger, the Harwood Playground with the Ponyville Schoolhouse, to name a few.
At the center of the chaos, Vrak floated in the air below the dark void in the sky,
"Oh, it's happening. It's finally, finally happening!" Vrak laughed, as dark energy swirled around him, "Physical form? Don't mind if I DO!"
In a flash, Vrak transformed into a fusion of his true form, an angle-demon, and Nightmare Moon. Both he and the Nightmare force were now a combined entity.
Both the humans and the ponies looked to see Vrak's new Nightmare form, "Alright, listen up you one lifespan, three dimensional, worthless skin puppets!" Nightmare Vrak said, his voice echoing everywhere, "For one trillion years I've been trapped in my own decaying dimension, waiting for a new universe to call my own. I am Prince Vrak! But you can call me your new lord and master for all of eternity!"
From out of nowhere Nightmare Vrak's dark rangers appeared, "This is our town now, boys!" A-squad red laughed,
"It's time we do a little redecorating. I could really use a castle of some kind" Nightmare Vrak continued, he raised his hand and from out of the Everfree Forest rose the Castle of the Two Sisters,
"And how about some bubbles of PURE NIGHTMARES!" Nightmare Vrak continued, he snapped his fingers and dark blue coloured bubbles appeared. People or ponies that got caught by the bubbles began screaming in fear.
"This party never stops. Time is dead and meaning has no meaning. Eternal night is now and forever and I reign supreme. WELCOME, ONE AND ALL, TO NIGHTMAREGEDDON!" Nightmare Vrak finished.
He turned to his dark rangers, "Ready to cause some havoc, guys?" he asked,
"Heck yeah!" all the dark rangers responded,
"Stop this at once!" cried a voice.
Nightmare Vrak turned to see Princess Celestia with royal guards to back her up, "you will desist!" she command,
"Well, well, well, and here I thought today couldn't get any BETTER" Nightmare Vrak stated, his magical aura enveloped Celestia and she levitated right up to Vrak's face,
"Good old sun-butt. Here to send us to the moon again, are you? we've been waiting an ETERNITY to have a chat face to face" Nightmare Vrak asked, staring into Celestia's eyes,
"I am here to stop you, for both our world sakes" Celestia replied, "I'll die before I let you go any further! I know your weakness, Vrak!" she cried,
"Oh, yeah?" Nightmare Vrak replied, "And I know a riddle. Why did the pony Princess do this?" he assumed a pose of a pony rearing up and screaming,
"This?" Celestia said, confused and trying to imitate Nightmare Vrak's pose,
Before Celestia could react Nightmare Vrak shot a blast of dark magic at Celestia, petrifying her in stone,
"Because I needed a new foot rest!" Nightmare Vrak laughed, stretching himself out in mid-air and putting his feet up on the petrified Celestia,
"That's enough!" Luna shouted, rushing forward,
"Luna, stop!" Twilight and the others cried as they rushed after her,
"Hand over my sister! Or else!" Luna demanded, drawing her sword,
"Now. Isn't. This. INTERESTING." Nightmare Vrak said, as he noticed Luna, "Our old puppet is back for an encore. You think you can stop us?"
"Go ahead, little princess, show us what you've got" he continued,
"I...uh... I... uh..." was all Luna said, her sword beginning to shake,
"I UM I. Do it, kid. Do some brilliant thing that takes me down right now. Whattdya got, Luna, everyone's waiting. DO IT" Vrak mocked,
"Augh, VRAK!" Luna cried, tears streaming down her face in a blind rage she flaw straight at Nightmare Vrak, but Vrak had been baiting her. As Luna's blade came inches from touching him, Luna was pushed back up a shock wave,
"Ooo" the dark rangers laughed,
"And you won't need these anymore" Vrak continued, he lifted his hand and the Elements of Harmony, the ranger keys and the ranger's morphers rushed towards his hand, and with a snap of his fingers they turn to lumps of rock.
"The Elements!" Twilight said,
"Our morphers!" Troy cried,
"Not much of a threat now, are you?" Nightmare Vrak said, "That's right. Don't be heroes, Rangers" he continued, "This is what happens to heroes in our world" he finished, holding up the stone Celestia, shaking her around like a rag doll, to illustrate his point,
Luna's sword clattered to the ground as tears streamed down her face, "This is my fault, I caused this" she whimpered,
Twilight sank down as she looked, stunned at her Element of Harmony turned to stone in front of her.
"Well, I think we've wasted enough time with fantastical yarns and emotional breakdowns, I need to go and create a few partnerships" Nightmare Vrak finished, "Enjoy your evening. Today's forecast, eternal night with a chance of more eternal night", and with that he disappeared.
"What do we now?" Applejack asked,
No one moved, no one spoke up everyone had lost hope,
"Twilight, What do we do!?" Applejack asked, frantically,
"I have no idea" Twilight replied, to everyone's horror,
"There is nothing we can do" Luna said,
They all looked around them as the night began to set in.
