In the skies of the Capital Wasteland, A BOS Vertibird flew by towards north to our destination. My name is Paladin Knight Vaughn, a male Caucasian with pale skin, green eyes, and auburn smooth wave hair. I wear a T-60b Power Armor wielding a 10mm pistol, a 5mm Minigun, a trench knife, a Laser Rifle, and 15 frag grenades. Also with me is a well known Paladin who knew the Vault Dweller himself, Paladin Tristan, and was giving me a debrief.
"Once we drop you off at the LZ, you must continue up the road towards Fort Constantine, there you must investigate the strange occurrences that has been going on for almost 2 months. Also, watch out for the base's military robots and there have been reports that the Outcasts are roaming around that area, so stay sharp." Tristan finishes right before the pilot replies, "Alright, we have arrived at the LZ, sir."
I was about to jump off the Vertibird until Tristan said, "Also radio us once you have finished your investigation, Vaughn."
I responded, "Yes sir."
And with that, I gotten off the Vertibird and watch it flew away back to the Citadel. Afterwards I pulled out my Laser Rifle and continued up the road towards the base.
An hour later...
I arrived at the gates of Fort Constantine. I observed it for a little bit and thought, 'Well this base looks like a perfect outpost for the Brotherhood. I wonder why they haven't set up shop here like they did in other places like Adams Air Force Base, or the Washington Monument.' I thought for a few moments until it was interrupted by a military Protectron engaging me.
I fired at the Protectron at it's 'head' blew off and fell over. I walked over to it and said, "That there was rude of you, you stupid bot." as I gave a chuckle. But then I saw a Military sentry bot engaging at me. I simply said, "Fuck this shit, I'm out." as I ran for cover. The Sentry Bot kept on firing its miniguns until I remembered I have at least 15 grenades. I then threw one at it and blew it right up.
I peeked around the corner and sighed in relief when the sight of what's left of the bot was scattered around. I muttered, "That was too close for my liking. How can this Vault Dweller be able to go through here easily?"
I then scouted the area until he caught a glimpse of something glowing on top of the hill. I thought, 'I think I may have found the 'strange occurrences' in the reports.'
I walked up the hill and found nothing but old cars and a building. I then gets frustrated and said to myself, "Well where the Hell was that glow coming from?"
Like right on cue, a portal opened up right beneath me and fell through yelling, "HOLY SHIIII-"
It was a beautiful, morning day in Ponyville as Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy walked down the street towards Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy said to Twilight, "Thank you for helping me carrying these supplies for the animals."
Twilight smiled and replied, "Of course, I'm always happy to help. It's what friends are for."
They reached the cottage and dropped of the supplies. But then they heard a loud yelling from the edge of the forest.
"-IIIIIT!"
Fluttershy and Twilight came out to see a flock of birds flying away from where the noise came from. Fluttershy whimpered, "Wha-what was th-that?"
"I don't know, but it sounds like someone needs our help." Twilight replied.
Then 4 people came rushing towards them. It was Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity who came to investigate. Dash asks Twilight, "We just heard someone screaming from around here, are you two okay?"
"Yes we're fine. We heard the screams too, and it sounded someone is in trouble." Twilight said.
Applejack said, "Well, we better go an' see what's up."
They all nodded and immediately went into the forest, not knowing what they were about to discover.
I crashed landed in the forest, making a crater in the process. I slowly gotten up with an aching back and regain my footing then I notice that the trees were....alive? I was very confused from this and remember that I just had fallen through an unknown portal. I thought, 'Well this something that I thought I would never see. Real, living trees. Am I in Heaven?'
But then I heard voices, which were all female. I then thought, 'Well at least there are people here.'
As I came out of the crater and out of the dust and smoke, I notice that 6 young adult girls with the face of shock and then what looks like some of them were preparing to fight or to defend themselves. I muttered, "This can't be good at all."
The Mane 6 walked towards the smoking crater and were curious and frightened at the same time. Rainbow Dash said, "Wow. Who or whatever made this crater may not have survived."
Twilight turned towards Dash and said, "Don't be so sure, Dash. Someone might have survived."
Then Fluttershy whimpered, "Uhm, g-girls. Is i-it me, or do I see something moving in the crater?"
The 5 looked towards the crater and heard heavy footsteps with a thud. When it came out of the smoke, it revealed that it was a large metal golem like figure with a multibarrel device of sorts.
Applejack asks, "What in Celestia's name is that there?"
Rainbow Dash replies, "I don't know, but if it attacks, I'm going to kick his metal flank."
Twilight says, "Whatever it is, we have to be prepared if it does attack."
All of the nodded and prepared whatever they were facing.
Wait till the song ends
I was facing 6 girls who looks like they are either about to attack or to defend themselves. I kept my distance and holstered my weapon, hoping that they would eventually speak up. I then heard one of them saying, "Wa-wait! Maybe it's lost and confuse."
I noticed one of them with a light, long pink hair wearing a light yellow and light blue apparel. The others looked at her and the one with purple with a pinkish stripped hair asking, "Are you sure, Fluttershy? This thing maybe dangerous."
I thought, 'Fluttershy, huh. That is a pretty name and it suits her.'
The one named 'Fluttershy' nodded and said, "Yes. I would like to talk to the poor thing, if it's okay with you?"
The lavender girl nodded and let her walk towards me. I noticed the she has light yellow feathered wings on her back. 'Maybe I am in Heaven, and maybe she's one of those angels that the bible described.'
I looked down at her, trying to be less intimidating. She then spoke, "Hi there little guy."
'Little? Really now?' He thought.
She then said, "M-my name is Fluttershy, and these are m-my friends..." as she turned towards the 5. "Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity."
She then turned towards me and said, "We heard screaming from here and we went to inv-investigate the source and we d-don't want to harm anyone or anything. We also d-don't want to harm you."
I was speechless, I mean, what am I suppose to say? I search around me and I noticed a yellow flower, so I knelt down slowly, trying not to scare them and picked the flower and handed to her. She then smile as she accepted the flower and grabbed my hand. I thought, 'I think I just fell in love.'
She then asks me , "What's your name?"
I hesitated, but managed to replied, "I-I'm...uh...I'm Paladin Knight Vaughn, of the Brotherhood of Steel, Miss Fluttershy."
Again she smiled and I noticed the others eased up and came towards me. Usually I'm not really shy or such, but when it comes to meet this much of very kind people, how else would I react?
Fluttershy turned towards her friends, which were congratulating her.
Twilight asks her, "Did it say anything to you? Is he friendly?"
Fluttershy answered, "Yes he is and he did say who he is."
Rainbow Dash asks, "Really? Then who is he?"
She then answered, "He said his name is Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel."
The 5 had their jaws drop when they heard m title. I had to admit, I almost laughed, but forced myself not to. I then thought, 'This may be a very interesting adventure that I have gotten myself into.'
