The Cutie Mark Crusaiders were hanging in their clubhouse, thinking of other ways to get their cutie marks. Sweetie Belle was suggusting helping Fluttershy with the animals. Scootaloo wanted to help Rainbow Dash ever since she could start flying properly. Apple Bloom wanted to help Applejack with bucking the apples. At 3:00 sharp, Rarity came to pick up Sweetie Belle. Applejack then came to pick up Apple Bloom. Scootaloo then flew home with her scooter in tow. Along the walk home, Sweetie Belle heard a voice singing the best song she'd ever heard. She ran to find the voice. She found the little filly, who was a lavender alicorn, and ran up her. "Hi!" said Sweetie Belle. The young alicorn's feathers got a bit fluffed and her dark pink eyes widened. She turned to face Sweetie Belle and her expression calmed a little. Sweetie Belle got a full view of the filly. She was purple with hot pink mane with purple, black, and bright blue streaks in it. She had a beautiful cutie mark. It was a hot pink star with a black outline, and down her left leg was streaks that looked like the star was shooting them out. They were the same color as the ones in her hair. Her mane and tail looked like they went through a glitter machine because it glittered and sparkled. The style, however, looked like it was in a star shower. It was wild but still looked royal. "Oh. Hi! I'm Starsong" the young filly said. "What song were you singing?" asked Sweetie Belle. "I don't really know what it's called, so I call it Double Rainbow Syndrome." Starsong said. "'Double Rainbow Syndrome'?" asked Sweetie Belle. Rarity was now running to where Sweetie Belle and Starsong were chatting and ran over and nuzzled Sweetie. Rarity started pulling her away when Starsong asked for her name. "My name's Sweetie Belle!" she yelled as Rarity floated her away with Magic.
The next day, Sweetie had to return a book to Twilight about dragons that Apple Bloom forgot to return. Sweetie entered and she saw the same lavender alicorn she met last night. The lavender unicorn took the book from Sweetie and gave it to Starsong. "Sorry Sweetie. But she really needs this book." Twilight said appolgecticaly. Starsong turned around and did a large "Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" like Pinkie Pie did the day she met Twilight. "Hi Sweetie! Who knew we'd bump into each other again!" the young alicorn said hyperly. Sweetie Belle looked just as excited as Starsong was. "Hey Starsong? Wanna come meet my friends? They will think your epic! Not to mention Scootaloo will wanna show off some tricks." she said, babbling like Pinkie Pie. "Sure!" said Starsong happily. The next day at the CMC meeting, Apple Bloom noticed a new filly with a cutie mark. "Uh... hi." Said the yellow earth pony. The other filly blushed slightly. "Uhmmmm.... hi, I'm Starsong." she said. She had her saddle bags on and in one was a pink and green dragon egg. "What's that Starsong?" asked Sweetie, who sat next to Starsong. "It's a weird egg I found at my doorstep this morning!" said Starsong cheerfully. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at how well Sweetie and Starsong were getting along. If only one of them could see the future...
