I was mediating. It has been a few days since our encounter to the dark future. I have been thinking about when I should unlock the third and final stage to being the Aspect of Insanity. I was even questioning on how I became evil in the first place. The spell that I placed on Twilight, Rainbow, and Charming was enforced to ensure that if they ever use the memory spell on themselves, it wouldn’t work. And not even alicorn magic couldn’t break the spell. And to even make sure that no one knew they were gone, we had reappeared where we originally at a few seconds ago so there won’t be no differences. It was hard to hide the truth, but it eventually worked. I had been training Trixie and Sonata to the fullest, in hopes of completing and unlocking their true powers of the Vampony. Also, I had noticed that I was now completely immune to Siren’s songs. I guess there was some goodness out of the whole thing. As for the meadow, I have ordered for it to remain untouched by ponies and other species due to its beauty. I had shielded the place as well to make sure that vehicles could not enter the place, you would have to walk in. And the secure it completely, I had enchanted the meadow to unfazed by machines that would destroy it. Trust me when the nobles did not like it when they attempted to destroy the meadow against Celestia’s orders. So they could not claim the meadow and it was remain for those who are trust worthy. They try to break the enchantment but found it impossible since my magic was that of a god. And the Alicorn Goddess agreed and enforced the enchantment. So, the place became like a honeymoon for me, Charming, and the girls.
Oh, and I found out that Celestia was holding a secret. I confronted her about it and she told me the truth. Turns out that she had a secret island that only she and Luna knew about, as well as some certain guards. Cadence and Shining had become aware about the secret enchanted island. So, I told Celestia and mom to let other royal families to use it. So now; me and Charming can use it as well as Chrysalis and Meta. The island was now the royal family getaway from civilization problems. The only thing about this island is that it is used for not just relaxing but for also some… pleasurable measures. Trust me when I told Sonata, Rainbow, and Trixie about the purpose of the island, they were blushing deep red about it. It would also explain why the guards are so loyal and trustworthy to Celestia and Luna…
Anyway; there has been activity near the border of the Zebra Empire, a valley that was consider not important for investigation. Me and the girls were getting into a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle and heading to meet Charming and his fleet of three Star Destroyers.
We had arrived to the rally point to meet with Charming. His Super Star Destroyer was leading the fleet while two Star Destroyers were with it. We landed in one of many hanger bays in the Super Star Destroyer. We lowered the landing platform and came off the transport ship. We see a row of Storm Troopers lined up and we see Charming coming over to us. Twilight noticed him and went to hug him. Though I wasn’t surprise when Twilight almost broke his entire body in one bone crushing hug. I healed Charming for any bones that were either out of place or may have broken. When I finished, I chuckled and he began to walk with me.
Charming said to me “I heard that you have mated with Sonata and Trixie. Good for you, brother.”
“Thanks. Though the marriage will have to wait until this war is over.” I remembered something and I pulled out the recorded disc that had Twilight’s confession on it. “Here is the gifted I mentioned before.”
Charming took it with his magic and looked at it, wondering what was on it. He put it in one of the bags he had. We went up to the bridge.
“I wish to inform you that Scorponok did a wonderful job at the Frontier.” Charming mentioned to me.
“Excellent. Also, did you get the news about the getaway island for us?” I asked him with an eyebrow raised.
Charming nodded “Indeed. I must admit it will make a perfect place to relax and get away from royal duties.”
“I agree. Maybe we should consider going together with our girls there after the war? All of this fighting and stuff is really making me blood thirsty and that isn’t a good thing at the moment.”
Charming nodded again “Yeah, I get you there. All of this work really is aching me. We really need a break.”
We began to continue talking to each other.
Later…
We arrived to the coordinates and we took a transport ship down to the surface. When we arrived to the ground, the landing platform lowered and me, Charming, Twilight, Rainbow, Trixie, Sonata, Sunset, and Applejack came down. We began to walk until suddenly, we came into an ambush. Three Zebra Ghosts and one Zebra Wraith came into view. With them were a bunch of alien-looking soldiers. Most carried Needlers or Energy Swords, and a few carried Storm Rifles. Charming and everyone was about to go to their weapons but I held up my hoof, telling them to hold that action. I approached an Elite Covenant and he looked at me before speaking the language that I could understand; Sangheili.
The Covenant Elite demanded “{Who are you intruders!? Why do you cross our land!?}”
I looked at my group. They were all confused, including Charming. I sigh and turned back to him and spoke in the same language.
“{My name is Danny Eclipse, Son of Princess Luna and King Sombra. I am the Aspect of Insanity and The Chronicler, so you already know that I’m able to speak all of the languages in the world; even Sangheili.}” The Covenant Soldiers had a look of surprise as they began to talk amongst themselves. I pointed a hoof to my friends. “{These are my friends. The red one is Charming Thunder, King of Harmony and the Element of Courage. He is my brother, same father. He is also leader of the Equestrian Empire. The cyan one with rainbow hair and tail is one of my mates; Rainbow Dash. She is the Element of Loyalty. The orange one with blonde hair and tail and with the cowgirl hat is Applejack; The Element of Honesty and one of Charming’s mates. The lavender one that looks like an alicorn is Twilight Sparkle; The Princess of Friendship, Element of Magic, and another one of Charming’s mates. The yellow one with the yellow and red hair is Sunset Shimmer; Protégé of Twilight Sparkle and the third mate of Charming Thunder. The light blue or teal one is Trixie Lulamoon; My first apprentice and one of my mates. Finally; the light blue close to white is Sonata Dusk; one of three Sirens, my third mate, and is my second apprentice.}”
Charming asked me, trying to confirm that I could “Danny; you can understand them?”
“Of course; I’m the Chronicler, Aspect and Keeper of Knowledge. I know of all the languages, even alien languages.”
The Covenant Soldiers looked at us then motion us to follow them. We began to follow them.
We were at an alien-looking base and we entered a palace. There, we see an alien warrior sitting on the throne with two Elite Covenant Guards. The one on the throne was an alien wearing black suit. On his waist was an energy sword. The alien looked down to us and I gasped, recognizing him in the books about the Covenant. I kneeled down to him and the others looked at me.
“{King Thel 'Vadam, otherwise known as The Arbiter. We came here in wonder of the activity that our military have detected. To what do I own the pleasure of seeing the king of the Covenant here?}”
Arbiter looked down at me, half surprise, half curious. He got up and looked down to me.
Arbiter asked me in his race's native tongue “{You speak the language of my people? How is that possible?}”
“{He claims to be The Chronicler.}” The Elite Covenant Commander interrupted, answering his question.
Arbiter, now, had a look of surprise on his face. He looked down at me again and began to walk to me. When he was above me, he looked down to me and examined me. He noticed my two lightsabers and my medallion.
Arbiter said “{You intrigue me… Aspect of Knowledge. I did not expect your kind to be here. Tell me; are you powerful and strong?}” I nodded to him “{Then I challenge you to a fight. One on one, challenge in the Arena. I desire to test your skills with a weapon.}”
I looked up to him and got out of my kneeling position.
“{I would be honored, your highness. What are the terms of this duel?}”
“{If you win; we will join you and your army. We will also give you the same technology and more like how we gave them to the Zebra Empire. If I win; you leave and never return. Do you agree, Chronicler?}” Arbiter replied.
I smirked at the challenge.
“Challenge accepted.” I could swear I saw a smile on Arbiter face. “Just wondering though; do you know how to speak Equestrian?”
Arbiter nodded “Yes. I can speak Equestrian, though I have a very hard time speaking it, I can understand you perfectly.”
Before Charming could say anything, I turned to leave and they began to follow. We went out of the throne room.
Charming asked, wanting to know what just happened “What happened in there? What’s going on?”
“I’ve been challenge to a fight and I tend to not lose. I must train now.”
I left them behind to train.
Later, in the Arena…
I was one side, Arbiter was on the other side. We were ready for the fight and I see Charming and my friends in the stand, watching us.
Covenant Announcer declared “{Welcome everyone to the challenge of the year! Our warriors today is King Thel 'Vadam vs. King Danny Eclipse! Who do you think will win? Are the combatants ready for a fight?}” I pulled out my lightsabers and activated them. Arbiter pulled out his energy sword and activated it. “{I take that as a ‘yes’. Now, Fight!!}”
I charged at Arbiter, who did the same. We crossed blades and I held to it. When Arbiter pulled back, he made a quick move to attack underneath. However, I was already on the move. I jumped up and was above his head. I went to slash at him but he already moved and blocked it. When I landed to the ground, I went to the offensive and jumped at him, spinning like a tornado. Arbiter blocked the strikes and pulled back from the melee combat.
Meanwhile on the Stand…
Charming asked “Whoa… where did he learned that?”
Suddenly, the spirits of Yoda, Anakin, Obi Wan, and Qui-Gon appeared besides them. Everyone nearly jumped when they see them.
Obi Wan said in disbelief “That move… Master Yoda, wasn’t that move-“
Yoda nodded “Indeed. Darth Sidious’ lightsaber technique, it is.”
Suddenly, the spirits of Sidious, Starkiller, Dooku, and Revan appeared in front of them in the seats.
“He is, indeed, a powerful sith. While his causes are good, his beliefs are strong, he is a true sith.” Sidious said with pride in his voice.
Anakin demanded “What are you four doing here!?”
Dooku looked at Anakin “Don’t start now; Anakin Skywalker. You have seen that our apprentice, Danny Eclipse, is a true warrior of the ways of the Lightsaber.”
Back in the Arena…
I was panting slightly while Arbiter was panting more than me. I was still holding my position while Arbiter did as well. He was chuckling now, seeing that this fight was, indeed, a challenge. Then, he charged at me again. However, I acted fast and dashed at him. I combined my lightning with my lightsabers and slashed at him, knocking his Energy Sword away. I had him on the ground, my lightsabers at his throat.
“I win.”
Arbiter, on the other hand, had other plans. He punched me, knocking me away. I managed to recover and looked at Arbiter. Arbiter grabbed his Energy Sword and pulled out another Energy Sword, now entering a duel wielding stance.
"I'm not finished yet, young one." Arbiter said.
I smirked and ready myself. We charged again, this time, our weapons clashing at each other. I broke the lock and went to the offensive. I flipped and began to spin like a top in mid-air. When Arbiter blocked the attack, I landed to the ground.
'Man, he's tough... But if I use the attack the combination attack I made, maybe I can turn this tide of the battle to my favor.' I thought.
Arbiter charged at me, hoping to lend a hit on me. I pulled back and kept dodging them. When I see an opening, I used my Master Speed force power and dash up to him. When I was just below him, I kicked him high into the sky and he dropped his energy swords. I got back on all fours and jumped up to him. When I was in front of him, I began to barrage him with punches and kicks. When I finished the attack, I punched him, sending him launching backwards and right into the wall. I landed to the ground, somewhat exhausted. When Arbiter got up from the wall, he looked at me and held his hand up.
Arbiter said "You win Chronicler, you have defeated me in fair combat."
There was a lot of cheering and I began to walk away, smiling.
