My eyes slowly opened up. Everything looked blurry. I heard the sound of beeping from the left side from where I lied. I looked around and noticed the white curtains all around me. I was wondering where my glasses were. I looked on my right side and could see my glasses lying there folded. I grabbed them and placed them on my face.

As I looked around me, I noticed the white ceiling, the heart monitor on the left side of me, the clothes I wore that aren't my own, and the fact that I am in a hospital. As I tried to move, I felt a sharp pain on my chest as if an arrow hit me. I slowly lied back down as the pain began to subside. I could even feel a patch on the side of my face where I was punched. I even noticed a patch on my nose.

"Ugh, Sunset sure did beat me up good." I said to myself as I looked up towards the ceiling.

I then heard a door opening and closing on the left side of me. I could hear the sound of footsteps coming up to me. As the curtains moved to the side, a nurse was bringing in me a tray of food. As I looked down to the food, it seemed like it was breakfast related. I looked back up to the nurse and noticed that she gave me a smile.

"Well, good morning. How do you feel?" she asked me in a calm voice.

"I…feel like crap." I replied.

"Hehehe. Don't feel like that. You're lucky to be alive, which is all that matters. Whoever hurt you, sure was rough on you." said the nurse as she placed the tray in front of me.

I wondered how long I've been here at the hospital. What I can remember was that I was bleeding a lot and the girls were at my side before I passed out.

"Excuse me, nurse, uh…"

"Redheart, call me nurse Redheart." said the nurse as she grabbed a spoon and dipped it into the porridge to feed me.

"Oh, ok. Well, nurse Redheart, How long have I been here?" I asked.

"You've been here for about five days. Now open up and say 'ahhh'." said nurse Redheart as I opened up my mouth for her to feed me.

"I've been here for five days?" I said after gulping down the porridge.

"Indeed. Your injuries were pretty bad. Your nose was broken, you had internal bleeding, a few of your teeth were removed, and one of your ribs was broken. I guess that you knew that when you tried to lean forward, huh?" she said as she dipped the spoon into the porridge and continued to feed me.

"Wow…I guess I did get hurt pretty badly." I said as I gulped down my next tablespoon of porridge.

I was then beginning to think about Fluttershy and the girls. I knew they are still worried about me and if I may not make it. I especially thought about Fluttershy. I know that out of all of the girls, Fluttershy is the most worried. 

"Um, have any girls come to visit me?" I asked.

"Indeed. There were five girls coming in here to check on you everyday. They really do worry about you. Are you their friend?" she asked as she put away the tray and walked back to me.

"They are. The friends that changed my life. One of them however, is really special to me. She and I are in love. It seems that our love for each other has kept me alive. Love is a really powerful thing that keeps me going and moving. Nothing can stop our love." I said as I looked over to nurse Redheart who looked like she was about to cry.

"My…God…that's beautiful." she said as tears start forming out of her eyes.

"Also, has the hospital contacted my mother?" 

"Oh yes…she was called and she says that she'll be here tomorrow." 

"Oh, ok. Thank you." I said as I looked back up to the ceiling.

"Say, would you like some TV?" she asked as she pulled away the curtains all around me and walked over to the TV that was connected on the wall.

"I would, please." 

"Okie dokie." said nurse Redheart as she turned on the TV and handed me the remote.

"Please make yourself comfortable. Also, those friends of yours will be here soon. They say they'll be here by noon." 

"Thank you for informing me on that." I said.

Nurse Redheart smiled back at me and left me alone in peace.

I looked over to the to where the clock was. It was 11 AM. I guess I'm gonna have to wait an hour for them to be here. I switched onto the new and then looked over to the windows on my right and noticed the snowflakes falling from the sky. The tops of buildings were covered in snow. It looked as if Mizore came to town. 

"Oh girls, I can't wait to see you again." I said as I continued to look out the window.





















It is 11:58 and the girls should be here any moment. I thought of something funny. I'm gonna do a little prank on them for that little prank they did to me before. 

"Hehehe. It's payback time." I thought as I heard the door squeaking slowly open and immediately made myself look like I was sleeping.

I heard the girls forming a circle around me. I could hear them sniffling a bit. Ok, this is my chance.

"3…2…1" I thought as I lifted up my body slowly and said:

"I liiiiiiiive!" 

Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, and Applejack jumped out of surprise. I began to laugh my ass off.

"HA!HA!HA! Guess who's back? I'm not gonna die just yet." I said as I leaned back onto the bed slowly.

"Darling, why would you do that?" retorted Rarity.

"This is payback from that prank you girls did to me, when you made Pinkie wear nothing, but an apron!" 

Rairty smiled while letting out a sigh of defeat.

"Well, at least you're alive, darling. That's all we care about." said Rarity as she walked over to the left side of me and gave me a hug.

The rest of the girls slowly joined in on the hug. As I looked around, I noticed one girl was missing, Fluttershy.

"Um, Rarity? Where's Fluttershy?" I asked as she and the girls let go of me.

"Fluttershy? Darling, she'll be here a little later. She says she wanted to give you something as a 'get well' present." said Rarity.

"Oh…well, how's she doing? I guess, not so very well."

"Indeed"

"How is she taking it?"

"She's devastated. She really misses you. She hasn't been eating or sleeping. Darling, without you, Fluttershy isn't the same." said Rarity as she and the girls were about to cry.

I noticed Rarity's mascara coming off as tears came out of her eyes.

"Don't cry." I said as I lie my hand on Rarity's, who's hand was coincidentally next to mine.

"What was that, darling?" asked Rarity as she took out a handkerchief from her pocket and blew her nose.

"I don't want you girls to cry. I want you girls smiling. Be happy that I'm alive. When Fluttershy comes in here seeing me alive, everything will be back to normal." I said as I let go of Rarity's hand while giving her and the girls a smile. 

The girls slowly began to smile and whip the tears out of their eyes.

"You're right, sugarcube. We shouldn't be sad." said Applejack as she sniffled.

"Yeah, cool people shouldn't cry." said Rainbow Dash which sounded like something Soul would say. 

"Jakie, I'm so happy that you are back in our lives. We all love you as a friend. I even brought you a couple of heart- shaped sugar cookies." said Pinkie as she took out a bag that had two cookies within it from her pocket while placing them on the drawer on my right.

She then leaned in on me and whispered into my ear.

"Wait for Fluttershy to show up. I wanna see you two eat them together." she whispered.

"Anyway, thank you, Pinkie." I said as I gave her a smile.

We then heard the door opening. We all looked towards the door and coming in was nurse Redheart who was about to leave the door open for someone to come in.

"Come in, sweetie. He's awake." said nurse Redheart as the person walked in front of the door.

It was none other than Fluttershy. As she turned her head towards me, she gave me a look of surprise. Her eyes were beginning to tear up, as she dropped her bag and dashed towards me.

She stopped right at the edge of my bed and lied her head on my chest and let all of the feels out.

"Oh, Jake…I thought I lost you." said Fluttershy lifted her head and looked at me with teary eyes.

I slowly lifted my left arm and placed my hand against her face. I used my thumb to wipe away the tears under her eyes on the right.

"Don't cry, my love. I'm still here. My love for you has kept me alive." I said as I slowly placed my left arm on my chest.

Fluttershy gave me a teary smile while leaning forward towards me and giving me a kiss on the lips. I couldn't help, but shed a tear.

As we parted lips, we heard crying coming from both the girls and nurse Redheart. Nurse Redheart was the one in the room that was crying more than the girls did.

"I can't watch this." said nurse Redheart as she left the room covering her face to hide her tears.

I looked back over to Fluttershy and smiled.

"Looks like we created quite the soap opera in here." I said as the girls, Fluttershy, and I began to laugh over my saying.

"Also, Flutters, you dropped your bag next to the door." I said as I slowly lifted my left arm and pointed towards the bag.

Fluttershy looked towards to where I pointed and gasped. 

She ran over to the fallen bag and picked it up. She then walked back to me whipping her face.

"While you were asleep, I went over to Otakucopia and got you a couple of things." said Fluttershy as she placed the bag on my left side of the bed near my hip.

My eyes lit up.

"Ohhhhh, what did you get for me?" I said, as I got all giddy.

Fluttershy giggled as she reached into the bag and took out the DVD case of Dragonball Z: Resurrection 'F'. Metaphorically, my heart exploded. Twice.

"Flutters…you got this for me?" I said out of pure surprise. 

"Anything for my Otaku boyfriend." said Fluttershy, which made me blush.

"I also got you the manga series I"s by the same creator of Video Girl Ai." said Fluttershy as she showed me the cover and handed it over to me. 

I've never heard of this manga series. I know Video Girl Ai, but not this. I grabbed it and placed it on the drawer on top of the drawer on my right. 

"I'll read that if there's nothing good on TV. Plus, tonight is episode 6 of Parasyte on toonami. I'm excited to see that." I said as I grabbed the remote and turned off the TV.

"Oh, that show is creepy." said Fluttershy.

"Hehehe. I love the series, 'cause I've read the manga series before it even was an anime." I said.

"It was a manga series?" asked Fluttershy.

"Yeah. I have all eight books." 

"Anyway, I have one more thing for you that wasn't from the store. I made this for the two of us." said Fluttershy as she reached into the bag slowly.

I was getting curious to what it was.

As she pulled her arm up, my jaw dropped. It was an anime-styled plushie of me and Flutters wearing the same shirt with a heart in the middle that had letters on it. It said on both hearts, "JXF". I looked over to Flutters who was giving me a shy look.

"Flutters…this…is the best thing you ever made. I love them." I said from the kindness in my heart.

Fluttershy placed in the plashes in the bag and gave me another hug. 

"Your welcome." whispered Fluttershy as she hugged me a little longer.

"Hey, Jakie! Fluttershy! Would you two like to now have my cookies?!" said Pinkie as she quickly grabbed the cookies from out of her pocket.

"Thanks, Pinkie." said Fluttershy as she reached her hand in and took out one of the cookies.

"Pinkie, I'll say this again, that you are the best." I said as I grabbed my cookie.

"Your welcome." said Pinkie as she gave us a huge grin.

I looked back at Fluttershy as she did the same. We brought our cookies to our mouths and started eating them. They were delicious.

"Pinkie, that was the best sugar cookie I ever tasted." I said as I gulped down my last bit of cookie.

"I get that a lot." said Pinkie.

"Excuse me, your visiting time is up. He needs to rest and relax a little more." said nurse Redheart as she walked into the room whipping the tears from her face.

"Well darling, looks like we have to go. We'll see you tomorrow around noon. Get well." said Rarity as she walked towards the door.

"See ya, Jake." said Rainbow Dash as she did the same.

"See ya, sugarcube. Get better." said Applejack.

"Bye bye!" said Pinkie in a way that Gin Ichimaru did in that one episode of Bleach. 

"See you soon, Jake. Get well." said Fluttershy as she ruffled my hair softly and giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"See you soon…my hime." I said as Fluttershy walked out of the room and disappeared from my view.

I looked over to nurse Redheart who is still crying.

"Redheart, are you ok? Did that whole thing with me and Fluttershy get to you?" I asked.

"Yes…you two lovebirds remind me of when I was married. I met a nice man who said the exact same thing you two said earlier. I haven't heard those kinds of words in a very long time. My husband passed away five years ago." she said as she sniffled.

"Oh, well I'm sorry for your loss." I replied.

"Well, now's not the time for you talk about romance. You need your rest. It is said that you'll be able to leave this place in about three more days. While you're here, it is my job as your nurse to keep you comfortable and to help you in your time of need." said nurse Redheart as she left the room.

"Well, at least I'm not with a psycho nurse from a certain hentai. Ick…even thinking about that gives me the willies.

"Well, might as well read the manga Fluttershy got me." I said as I reached towards the drawer on my right and began to read it.



























Sunday

I lie on my bed bored from watching TV. There's nothing good on. I wanna be at home. I wanna see Fluttershy again.

"Wait, a minute. What time is it?" I thought as I turned my head towards the clock.

"11:55…the girls will be here in a bit. Good. I need some company." I said to myself as I lie back on my bed and watch a little more TV.















I hear the door opening eight minutes later. I grabbed the remote and shut off the TV. The girls entered and formed a circle around me.

"Hi, Jake." said Fluttershy as she and the girls waved to me.

"Hi everybody." I said as I waved back.

"So darling how's-" Rarity was cutoff as the door was pushed open immediately. 

Me and the girls looked towards the door. Storming in the room was my mother. She marched towards me and started to give me hugs and kisses as tears came down her face.

"Oh my sweetie, I heard about what happened. I had to come straight over here to see you. How do you feel?" she said as she looked at me whipping the tears out of her eyes.

"Mom, I'm doing fine. I'll be out of here soon. My wounds are healing. It's good to see you though." I said as I gave my mom a smile.

"MOM?!" said all of the girls at once.

My mother turned around and looked at the girls. She gave them a smile and then looked back at me.

"Jake, may I meet your friends?" she asked.

"Go right ahead, mom." I said.

"Nice to meet you girls. What're your names?" 

"My name is Rarity, Miss Bolton." said Rarity as she did a curtsey. 

"I'm Applejack." said Applejack as she tipped her hat.

"Name's Rainbow Dash."

"I'm Pinkie!! Nice to meetcha!!" said Pinkie as she grabbed ahold of my mothers' hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you girls. And who might you be, sweetie?" said mother as she looked over to Fluttershy.

"I'm Fluttershy. It's good to meet you." said Fluttershy.

"Awwww, Jake, these girls are very sweet. How did you meet them?" asked mother as she turned towards me.

"I met them around school. They even made me dinner one night." I said.

"Oh? They made you dinner? How thoughtful of them." said mother as she smiled at me.

"I know, right?" I said.

"Did you play Marvin Gaye to get their attention?" said my mother as she began to snicker.

"MOM?! No, I didn't!" I said as my face went red out of embarrassment.

"I'm just kidding, sweetie." 

My mother turned around towards the girls. 

"You girls, look over my son. He can be quite clumsy." said mother to the girls.

"We will." said the girls.

"Thank you very much. Well, it's time for me to go. Jake, I love you and I will be back sometime next month to check on you." said my mother as she kissed me on the cheek an walked towards the door.

"Mom, wait!" I said to get my mothers attention.

"Yes, sweetie?" said my mother before she could walk through the door.

"It would be nice if you call or text me everyday to check on me. Could you do that for me?" I asked.

My mother smiled.

"Of course, sweetie. If it makes you happy, I'll do it." said my mother as she waved to me and disappeared from my sight.

"I feel so much better. At least I'll hear her voice everyday." I thought as a smile came on my face.

I turned over to the girls who looked at me with happy faces. I cocked an eyebrow.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"Your mother was really funny, darling." said Rarity.

"You got yer mothers' hair." said Applejack.

"I like her." said Rainbow Dash.

"She reminds me of you." said Pinkie.

"She's a really nice woman." said Fluttershy.

"That's very nice of you, girls." I said.

"Also, who's Marvin Gaye, darling?" asked Rarity.

That question made my face go red. How could I explain it to them?

"Let's just say he's a great singer and the ladies love him." I said as I began to sweat.

"Oh, ok." said Rarity.

"She bought it?" I thought.

"Well, we got to go, Jake. We got some things we need to do." said Fluttershy as she came up to me and kissed my cheek.

"See ya soon, girls." I said as I lay back on my bed.

"Bye, Jake." said the girls as they left the room.

I was all alone again. I let out a sigh.

"I think my life is about to change." I said as I turned on the TV.
