A few years had passed since my parent’s death… Twilight is now the same age as she was on the show. She did a lot more studying than she did when she was younger. One day Twilight discovered a spell that could restore a person’s/pony’s memory. She decided to use it on herself… and she remembered all of it… her friends… Equestria… and of course Princess Celestia. This made me worried… I was afraid that she might want to go back to her normal life in Ponyville. Ugh… I sound so selfish thinking like this. But there’s one thing I don’t get… She knew the spell that could bring her back home… so I wondered why she didn’t use it yet.
“Hey Twilight… what have you been up to?” I ask her.
“Oh hi dad, I’ve just been doing some research before I get the spell ready.” She says.
“You mean the spell to go back to Equestria…?” I ask.
“Yeah, I’m almost done.” She says.
I thought I was going to lose it… She was about to leave to her home… where I might never see her again! I was about to cry but then…
“Hey Dad, shouldn’t you and mom get your things ready too?” she asks.
“Huh…? Get my things ready for what?” I ask.
“Your things for when we go to Ponyville of course.” She says.
“W-wait!” I start. “Are you saying you can take me and your mother to Equestria with you?” I ask.
“Of course! You didn’t think I would leave without my parents, did you?” she says smiling as if she knew she would surprise me.
I couldn’t believe it! My daughter is taking me and Kayla to live with her in Ponyville! I hardly know what to think right now…! I’ve never been so excited in my entire life! I’ve always dreamed of living in Equestria… but I never thought that day would actually come…! I went to tell Kayla the news.
“Kayla! Kayla! Guess what!” I say excitedly.
“Levi calm down! Why are you freaking out?” she says.
“Twilight… our daughter is taking us to live with her in Ponyville!” I said.
“WHAT!?” she yells in surprise.
“Yeah! We’re all going to live together in Equestria as a family!” I said.
Kayla hugged me crying and at the same time was happy. I was doing the same. All the worry of Twilight just leaving suddenly disappeared… Then a thought came to me… What if Brian really is in Equestria too…? I guess he wouldn’t be the only human anymore. Man… this has got to be the happiest day of my life.

I could hear dad and mom getting excited in the Kitchen. All I could do was smile and laugh a little to myself. I can’t wait to see my friends again; it’s been so long since I’ve seen them. Dad… Thank you so much for taking care of me… and I can’t wait for you and mom to come home with me. I just hope… that Celestia doesn’t take him back…
I soon see mom and dad get their Suite cases ready to go. Mom took some books with her and dad is bringing his laptop. They both have their clothes ready. I bring some things with me to remind me of all the fun we had here on Earth… I couldn’t go without them. Heh, I wonder what dad will think when he sees that him and mom aren’t the only humans in Equestria… I didn’t want to tell him that story with Brian was true… I wanted to see his reaction when he saw him.
“Mom! Dad! Are you almost ready to go?” I call out
“Almost!” dad yelled.
Now I know how Rainbow Dash feels when she has to wait for someone… then again Rainbow is a lot less patient than me… Finally, mom and dad come with their things ready to go. We take one last look at our surroundings… We all have tears on our faces… because we knew everything was going to be different… But we also knew we were leaving behind close friends that I hope we will see again…
“Hold onto me.” I say.
When they do, I start to perform my spell… The room started to fade slowly… We soon started to see a glimpse of my library in Ponyville. More tears were shed by us as we get our last glimpse of the home we had on Earth. We finally made it home… Mom couldn’t help but walk around with her mouth covered. To dad it looked like it was natural for him. He went down to me hugging me, which lasted longer than usual.
“We’re home dad… we’re home…” I say.
“It’s kind of hard…” dad says.
“Huh? What’s hard?” I ask.
“Hard to convince myself that I’m not dreaming.” He says with a slight chuckle.
I giggle “well, don’t worry… it’s not a dream.” I said hugging him.
“Hey… Twilight?” mom started. “Where’s spike?”
I took a look around and I didn’t see him… where WAS spike…? Maybe while I was gone someone decided to take care of him… I hope he’s ok… I tell my parents to stay inside until I can find a way to explain to my friends about this whole thing. Everything still looks the same… after all it has only been days here but years on Earth-
“Oof!” I said getting knocked down.
“Twilight! Where have you been??” said Pinkie Pie standing on top of me.
“I’ve been… gone for a while…… can you please get off me now?” I said.
“Oh! Sorry Twilight!” Pinkie said apologetically.
“So where is everypony?” I ask.
“We were worried about you Twilight! We haven’t seen you in over two weeks!” said Pinkie.
“I uh… I can’t really explain right now… later ok?” I said.
“Okie Dokie Lokie! Oh! That reminds me! I need to get a party ready for you! I’ll see you later!” she said as she ran off.
Glad to see Pinkie Pie still being Pinkie Pie… hmm… I wonder where Brian is… I’m sure he would like to meet mom and dad.
“Brian!” I call out. No answer.
Maybe he’s at Sweet Apple Acres. I went by the Acres to see if he was there. And he was; helping out Applejack with the apples as always.
“Hey Brian!” I called out.
“Huh…? Twilight? Is that you? Where the heck have you been??” he said surprised to see me.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I-… wait you probably would believe me” I said.
“What do you mean?” he asks.
“Well… you remember when you found Rainbow as a filly…” I start.
“Yeah…?- wait! Are you saying… Twilight… how long have you been gone from Ponyville…?” he asks.
“16 days…” I said.
“Oh well the-“ he gets cut off.
“For Ponyville…” I said.
“Wait… what?” he said.
“Where I was… it’s been 16 years” I say finally.
Brian stood there completely shocked, he took a few minutes to process what was going on right now.
“Also… if it makes you feel better, you’re not the only human in Equestria anymore.” I start “Both my mom and Dad are here.” I said.

What the heck is going on?? Did Twilight really screw up on her spell again?? And… now there’s another human here… two actually… hmm… maybe I should go meet the guy.
“Where is he right now?” I ask.
“Dad and Mom should be down at the library.” She says.
“Great, I’m gonna go meet them.” I said. “See you later Twilight!”
I ran down to the library to meet Twilight’s parents. I still can’t believe that the same thing that happened to Dashie, happened to her… but how could she mess up again? I thought she learned her lesson from last time. Oh well… I’ll have time to think about it later, I’m almost there.
I finally get there and I knock on the door. No one answered… I knocked again and still no one answered… I was starting to think Twilight was pulling a joke on me… then again; Twilight’s not the kind of pony to make jokes… Then I hear a voice from behind the door.
“Remember what Twilight said,” a girl whispered “don’t leave the library until she finds a way to explain us being here.”
“I’m freaking bored!” a guy whispered “Why can’t I just open the door and see who it is?”
That settled it… nopony in Equestria ever said “freaking” or any other form of cursing. That proved to me that they were humans too.
“Hey!” I called out “You don’t have to worry, I’m human too. My name is Brian by the way.” I said
As soon as I said my name, the door whipped open. And Twilight wasn’t lying… there they were; two new humans to Equestria.
“Brian…” the guy started “It’s great to finally meet you. My name’s Levi and this is my wife, Kayla.” He said.
“What do you mean ‘finally?’“ I asked.
“Well, you’re the one that took care of Rainbow Dash all this time right?” he asked.
“Yeah, but how did you know that?” I asked.
“Twilight told us.” Kayla said.
“Also another question…” I paused “How did you find her?” I asked.
“Well… one day when I was playing a game with my friend online, it started to rain… I remembered that I left my window open, so I went outside to close it. After I did… I saw a slight glow coming from my father’s shed… I was about to ignore it but then the glow got brighter… So curiosity got the best of me and that’s when I decided to check out what was going on in my dad’s shed. When I opened the door… the first thing I saw was Twilight… as a filly with her horn glowing dimly at the time… she was a little scared of me at first, but I reassured her when I told her that I only wanted to help her… and that’s pretty much the story on how I found her.” He finished.
“Wow… if it didn’t rain you probably wouldn’t have found her.” I said
That’s kind of how I found Dashie… I was walking home… and saw a cardboard box on the sidewalk… at first I didn’t think it mattered much, but when I was home… something inside me made me want to go back. And when I did go back… there she was… little Dashie sleeping in the cardboard box.
“Well, I can see just by looking at you two that she made a good choice trusting you.” I say
“And the same goes for you and Dashie.” Levi says.
“Thanks… also another thing… what did Twilight do for fun on her spare time when she was younger?” I ask.
“Well… when she wasn’t reading she was watching ‘Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader’” He says.
Figures… even at a young age, you couldn’t stop that mare from learning something new…
“Also, one more question…” I said. He looked at me like he was getting a little annoyed with the questions.
“Shoot.” He says.
“How did Twilight find out… about her past?” I ask.
“Well… it all started when Twilight met Kayla, actually…” he started “Kayla didn’t know I was Twilight’s father at the time and she sort of freaked out. She was asking Twilight where the other ponies were and of course, when Kayla mentioned the names, Twilight had no idea what she was talking about. I got there a little late after she asked… Twilight wanted answers… so we went inside… and I showed her the show… when the episode was over… she looked at me with tears of sadness and anger in her eyes.” He started crying as he said this. “She yelled at me because I never told her the truth sooner… and I deserved it… She even thought that I didn’t love her…” he was cut off.
“That’s when I decided to go and talk to Twilight.” Kayla started “She was in her room crying and at first she was still mad at Levi… but then I explained to her…‘Twilight... if Levi didn’t love you, would he have bothered to take care of you all this time?’ and after that, I gave her some time to think.” Kayla said.
“And when she walked up to me…” Levi continued “these were her exact words…’ Dad… I know you feel really upset right now… but I just want to let you know I’m really sorry for how I acted towards you…’ she started to cry then… ‘I’m sorry for saying that you didn’t love me and I don’t know how I can ever make it up to…’ but before she finished, I grabbed her and hugged her more than I ever did before… she thought I was mad at her… but in reality I was only sad because I thought she wouldn’t want to talk to me anymore…” he continued “I asked if she could forgive me for not telling the truth sooner… and she said… ‘I already have… I love you so much Dad…’” he finished.
I couldn’t help but feel tears after he told me this… because it reminded me so much of the argument me and Dashie had…
“Well,” I started “Make sure you do everything you can for Twilight… both of you.” I said.
“Don’t worry… we will” Kayla said.
