"You do?" Pinkie asked, completely puzzled, tears starting to stream down her face.
Cheese sighed. "Yes. I like you romantically."
"Oh, uh, that's, um, nice. I, uh, need some time, uh, bye!" The words tumbled out of Pinkie's mouth and she turned and galloped out the door.
"YOU'RE AN IDIOT, CHEESE!" Rainbow shouted, furious. "GAH! IF I EVER MPPHMH!" Doscord zipped her mouth shut as the CMC (minus Scootaloo) and their sisters joined them.
"I heard shouting. What did Discord do?" Rarity asked.
"It wasn't me!"
"Suuuuuure." Applejack rolled her eyes. "And the fact that Rainbow's mouth is zipped shut is an accident?"
"It wasn't! Well, yes, I zipped shut Rainbow's mouth, but still!" Discord protested.
"Scootaloo, where are we?" a new voice asked.
"Finally! What took you so long, Flutters?" Rarity asked. "We need you to set Discord straight."
"What did he do?"
"Another dating game. Why were you sooooo late?"
"Answers later. Discord, come."
"But-"
"NOW!"
Discord relented. "I love it when she gets angry like that." Everypony looked at him quizzically. "What? She's pretty." He replied, earning a double facehoof from everypony. "Whaaaaaaat? Like I said, she's pretty, sweet, kind, loving..."
"Mmmmmm!" Dash protested against her zippered mouth.
"Oh, yes, sorry Dashie. Here ya go. " Discord raised his claw and waved away the zipper as Fluttershy pulled him away.
"So, ya gonna tell them it wasn't Discord's fault?" Rainbow asked with a smirk on her face.
Cheese sighed. "Not now. I need to go talk to Pinkie."
"Why not now, darling? If he's really innocent, it will help." Rarity asked, concerned.
"Yeah, sugahplum. Jus' tell us." Applejack added.
"C'mon, they'll forgive ya." Rainbow coaxed.
"PWEEAASSE?" The CMC asked, puppy dog eyes on full power.
"I said, NOT NOW!" Cheese growled as he bolted out the door.
"Wow. Puppy-dog eye resistant. Impressive." Sweetie Belle remarked.
