//------------------------------// // Sun & Moon I think we have a problem // Story: Praise the moon! // by xluferx //------------------------------// “Well…Shit” “There is no way that this is happening!!!” Currently both sisters were in their personal seats of the immense coliseum built in honor of the first Equestrian Games…. Which was thousands of years ago… Celestia was completely aware of that fact, however for some unknown reason her sister had to remind her that her goal was never achieved over the years. It was frustrating to say at least. The best course of action right now was to remain silent until her sister finish what she has to say or to prevent her from going overboard. “WE TRUSTED YOUR JUDGEMNT AND IT HAD BEEN OVER 1000 YEARS AND BOTH FACTIONS AREN’T FRIENDS IN THE SLIGHTEST!!!!!!” The use of the Royal Canterlot Voice was her cue to re-enter the scene and prevent her sister to shatter the windows with her scandalous voice. Besides her eardrums were complaining to no end. “Luna, calm down.” Luna obeyed; the unspoken words were heard by her, she couldn’t lose her temper not when one of the most important events of Equestria was going to happen soon. Right below where she was taking seat. Oh, by the way… Candace was also present. She was more like the violinist in the whole ordeal. Not literally of course. Besides how a pony would be able to play a violin with hooves? Magic maybe? As ever the coliseum was at it fullest, countless ponies were gathered; all of them cheering for their favorite team. But between the spectators or fans was no rivalry; the only existent was between the members of the covenant; who apparently can hold a grudge for really but really long time. The Warriors of Sunlight in one side and the Warriors of Moonlight in the other, though they actually weren’t warriors; it was more like a nickname or title that came with joining the covenant since Equestria is a peacefully land all thanks to the hard work of both princesses over the years. So the only officially knights who could be called true warriors were Solaire and Lunaire. Since the inauguration of the equestrian games both sides trained with such devotion that left slack jawed many ponies, even other nations who saw they training offered riches to the princesses to allow their armies to train with both warriors, it would have been the right course of actions if they have declined the offers but how do you think that they managed to built an immense coliseum which is big enough to fit over twelve thousands ponies? Nothing is free you know? Well except for the air. And the day… And also the night… The stars also count… Uhhh… probably we should get back to the topic of how both sisters were handling the facts about her knights. Though the Equestrian games was and always will be an income to the kingdom, it attracts many from far lands since there are not only ponies in the crowd. The competitions were very fascinating as exciting. The difference between win or lose was so insignificant and at the same time significant. “So auntie…” “I know what you are thinking and the answer is No.” Celestia immediately cut her niece from continue since she already knew what she was about to ask, and it was the same question every time at the same day and hour. “Please! I also want my own faction!” Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, the princess of love an alicorn who wanted a faction to be devoted to her, it would be an utter lie saying that she didn’t feel jealous about Lunaire and Solaire but her aunt had been rejecting all over the years. “Cadenza we’ve discussed about the possible outcomes can come if another faction is founded.” The princess of the night explained again. “With my sister included we do not desire to create more rivalry that already exist.” However Candace pouted as she crossed her forelegs, giving the typical expression of a foal whose request had been denied. “But, if you are able to find a knight who declare his devotion to you then I will gladly allow you to found your own faction.” The Sun princess said. “CE-ELSTIA?!” Luna was totally caught off the guard by the sudden addition to the conversation, causing at the same time to Candace to gleam with joy at hearing that simple requirement. While Candace was in her own world Luna grabbed her sister’s head and pulled it down where she could whisper on her ear.”Are you out of your mind?!” “Don’t worry Luna.” The big sister whispered back. “Don’t worry?!” Luna was hardly containing her surprise and also mild anger which she currently had against her sister. “Luna the possibility that another knight like Solaire or Lunaire are no-existent, so please calm down.” Celestia whispered, and then she gave a quick glance to her niece who was still in her own dream world. “Besides, that would keep her occupied for a while.” Luna had to suppress a kind of cruel giggle, since what Celestia said was true. Both princesses are seen to be kind rulers with hearts made of gold but little they know about what they are capable to do when they are angry or when they feel to mess around; and right now they were messing around with the poor innocent not so little Candace. Luna after calming down she smiled. “We should enjoy these games sister, arguing was a foolish action of mine.” A warm smile graced Celestia’s lips as she spoke. “Is fine sister, your reactions was understandable. I just didn’t expect that this was going to be the outcome.” “Well… seeing it on the bright side, this event is one of the most important incomes to Equestria.” Luna said. “That’s the spirit Lulu!” Celestia exclaimed as an excited filly. “Hush you sister!” Almost immediately she checked her surroundings. “Don’t use that nickname in public.” A great relief falling upon her when she noticed that nopony, except for Candace, was around. “Alright, Alright don’t worry….” A malicious grin appeared on her face. “Lulu.” Despite what she said Luna couldn’t ignore the fact that it was making her laugh. “Shut it Tia!” Celestia also has a nickname which the princess of the night can use as a weapon; so a small moment of joy between two sisters was shared. However as it was said before two sister shared a moment, Candace was left out since she was still thinking about what her auntie said to her, she spent the time thinking of option and alternatives to meet the requirements to start her own covenant. There was a Sun knight. A Moon knight. Why not also a Love knight? A toothily grin wide as pie appeared on her face when she finally found her answer, she has her knight SHINING ARMOR. “I think I will name the covenant…Warriors di Cuore.” One can only hope that this knight in SHINING ARMOR is ready of what will fall upon him… Or her…. Nope. Definitely a him.
