As I was getting ready for work, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was missing something. I walked downstairs, to see Luna sitting on the couch. I walked over to her and said, “What’s wrong.”
She said, “I feel guilty for hypnotizing her or wrapping her up after almost killing her.”
I said, “Do you harm her in any way?”
Luna looked up at me, and said, “No, but I changed her mind.”
I said, as I hugged her closer, “Everyone changes their mind their minds all the time.”
She said, as a tear stream down her face, “But I did it unnaturally. I changed her mind with magic.”
I said, as I got up, “I’ve been saving this for later, but you need some cheering up. I walked to the closet and pulled out a bucket and walked back to Luna said, “I have been keeping you away from civilization for far too tong. I want you to take you to out on Halloween. It’s in a week and a half. I got to get to work today.” I placed the bucket next to Luna and walked back to the room, and got a shirt, sock, and shoes on.
Then I heard a knock and I walked over to the door, Luna jumped rose on her tail, hugged me, and said, “Thanks dad, I really want to get out.”
I chuckled and said, as I rubbed her head, “You’re most welcome, now I need to get to work.” I slid past her and headed for the car. I got to work and said, as I walked up to my boss, “Can I speak with you.
He said, “Sure and followed me to a place far away from people.
I turned to him and said, “About yesterday, what did you mean, by that.”
He gave me a confused look then said, “Oh, it’s pretty obvious, you are taking care of a person back home. It will get better. I know it’s hard to take care of a teenager.” When he saw my confused look. he said, “Getting calls to rush out the door, Saying you can’t to work. I just put them together. Now, let’s get back to work.”
After that, the whole week and three days, have been the same, get up, eat, work, come home, eat, sleep, with some variations. On the day before Halloween, we were getting ready. I said, “Luna, I know this brand new to you, but I going to be there with you, I even walked up to the door with you. Just remember, everything is there to scare you, not going to hurt you, plus I will protect if I see any trouble, and if a little kid steps on you tail, don’t show any pain.”
Luna said, “Dad, enough already, you told me this yesterday.”
I sighed and said, “I know, but I want to make sure.” Then an idea struck me, I said, with a smile, “Since I don’t have work tomorrow, why don’t we have a marathon of classic monster movies.”
Luna said, “That sounds great. Which movie should we watch for.”
I said, “I was think, The Creature from the black lagoon, Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Phantom of the opera, Invisible man, Wolf man, and then Mummy, but that’s for tomorrow, let’s get to bed, to rise up early tomorrow.” She nodded and we had off to bed.
The next morning I woke up wrapped in Luna’s coils. I looked down to see my feet were free. I said, “Luna, what are you doing?
She said, once she released me, “Sorry dad, but I couldn’t wait till you woke up. So I wrapped you up, and supported your head, so it wouldn’t bang against the stairs.”
I sighed and said, “Guess I did say get up early in the morning. Come on, lets get some breakfast going.” After breakfast, we started the movie.
It was about sixish when Amethyst came downstairs, she said, when she saw me and Luna watching a movie. “Morning you two, what’s the movie this time?”
I said, “Morning Amethyst, we’re having a marathon of the classic monster movies, starting with the creature from the black lagoon. Care to join us?”
She said, “Right after breakfast.” Then she walked to the kitchen. She sat down when we started the next one. Apple came in when we finished it and sat down. I checked the clock and said, as I picked up her bucket “Luna, come on, it’s time to go. We’ll be back before midnight.”
Amethyst turned to me and said, “Ok, be safe.”
We walked out the door and headed for the car. We drove for a while then we got back to our old neighborhood, I help Luna out of the car and we walked up to the first house. I walked with her to the door I said, into her ear, “Wrapped your tail aound my legs so it doesn’t get stepped on.”
when the others left she slithered up to the door and said, “Trick or Treat,” then got her candy When we were on the sidewalk again she said, “That was fun, lets do a few more.” After that we did about ten houses. then he headed back to the car. Once we were in the car, Luna sat in the back seat , looking through her candy. Every now and then, she would levitate something to the front passenger seat, if it was candy, I would wrap it at a stoplight and put it into my mouth.
When we got home, I went to grab the doorknob and realized it was a fraction open. I looked at Luna and said, “Get ready to hypnotize whoever is in the house, besides Amethyst and Apple.” She nodded and we walked in.
Sitting on the couch was Twilight, clearly watching the movie, looks like the ending of mummy, They must have paused it, before heading to bed. She said, once the movie was over, “Do you know what might have happened to her with that stunt you pulled."
I said, as I set the keys down, “With Rarity?”
Twilight said, “No, with her trick or treating. She could have been found out.”
I said, “That’s why I did it people will think it’s a costume.”
Luna said, when Twilight got off the couch, “When did she get wings?”
I said, “I think at the end of season 3.” Then I turned to Twilight. “Let’s talk about this.”
Twilight said, “Fine, but after that, I will take Luna back to Equestria.”
I said, Can you send a message from here?”
Twilight looked confused and said. “Of course, I can, I’m an alicorn.”
I said. “Why don’t you stay with us to see what we do, and you can send letters to Celestia.”
Twilight said, “No, you trying to convince me to stay.”
I said, “I guess you left us no choice.” I nodded to Luna. Then I whispered in her ear, “Be careful. She is the element of magic.” Luna nodded and teleport behind her. She wrapped Twilight in her coils and focused her head to hold it still.
Twilight struggle to find it useless Luna said, “I really don’t want to hurt you, but if you keep struggling, I might have to hurt you.” After a while Twilight stopped struggling. Luna said, “You are going to stay and report to Celestia what we do here, apart from hypnotizing you to stay. When I say awake you will return to normal. Awake.” Then she released Twilight
Twilight got up and said, “Fine. Luna, do you like being able to change ponies mind?”
I said, “Twilight Sparkle, quit trying to make her feel worse. She will feel bad, she always did feel bad about hypnotizing ponies. I asked her to do it and promised that you wouldn’t be harmed in any way.
Twilight’s eyes soften, then she said, “I’m sorry, Luna. I thought you did it for yourself.”
I said, “Now that’s taken care, lets go to bed. But first, why didn’t Celestia come?”
Twilight said, as she settled into the couch, “She is sleeping for the first time in months.”
I nodded and walked to the room and got into bed smiling cause it’s over, with Twilight here, I can keep Luna.
