       I got home, and both Twilight and the Crusaders were waiting for me.

It seemed like all of Ponyville had witnessed it.

Although he was glad his friends saw him succeed, he was starting to wish that they hadn't.

Now Scootaloo was under the impression that a sonic rainboom practically guaranteed a cutie mark.

Both Twilight and I agreed that my cutie mark probably had something to do with the strange magic that I saw.

And the rest of the Crusaders all agreed that while I had already gotten my cutie mark, and could therefore not be a full member, I could still stay with the group as a sort of honorary member.

Rainbow Dash proved difficult to teach. Being so instinctual, it was hard to get her to change anything about her magic.

I eventually discovered a shape that allowed me to cross the barrier without a Rainboom.

And of course, life went on.

I learned that Twilight had a brother.

He married a princess that I hadn't heard of, either. There was this thing with some changelings. I thought the Princess's magic looked weird.

Spike saved an entire kingdom.

I finally got around to changing my name.

Discord reformed. What.

Twilight became an alicorn princess.

Again, what.

One of Discord's past creations made it eternal night and eternal day at the same time. Pretty normal for him, though. And there were these tentacle plants from the Everfree Forest. Twilight had to give up the Elements of Harmony. And all she got was this box.

And then Tirek attacked, draining everypony of their magic.

It's probably a good thing that I was blind for most of it. I heard quite a lot of explosions. But that box came in pretty useful.

Oh, and the library got destroyed. Good thing I wasn't there at the time.

And then Twilight got a magical castle.


With all the magical things going on, it was only a matter of time.

Anyway, it was shiny. Even for me.

But Twilight got her new role: the Princess of Friendship. And she got a map/table thing that even I could read.

That was actually really cool.

I could see how the world looked for everypony else.


It was amazing how much I missed that.


But of course, life goes on.
