The next morning, I got up and walked to the front room to check up on Luna. When I got there, I called for Amethyst to come quick. Luna was on the ground, shivering like she was cold and sweating. I ran to her and placed my hand on her forehead, it felt hot, then Amethyst came running in and placed a hoof as well. Luna barely opened her eyes and said, “Dad, I’m sorry for what I said, I know you want to keep me from harm.”
Amethyst came out and saw Luna, then she ran into the bathroom and came out with medicine. I said, as I placed a rag on her head and wrapped her tail up, “We’ll apologize to each other once you are better. Just rest and get better.” She nodded, then took some medicine and closed her eyes. I called my boss and said, “I won’t be able to come in today, I’m having some house problems.”
He said, “I know what you mean. Well hopefully you “house problem” gets fixed by tomorrow.”
I got the hint that he knows something that he’s not telling me. but I hung up and went back to bed. After a few hours, I was woke up, to what sounded like a cannon going off. I jump out of bed and ran downstairs to see the window, overlooking the backyard missing. I said, to Apple, “Why is the back window missing?”
She said, as quick, but understandable as possible. “Luna found her voice, but she can’t control it.”
I sighed and grabbed my laptop and went to my room. When I got there, I shut the door and laid down on my bed. I turned on my laptop, put in my password, and opened another document, this time, about how Luna changed my life. when I finished. I checked the clock, it was 5:27 pm, I got up and walked downstairs, I removed the rag and felt Luna’s head, her strange fever went down and her cold went up a little. She opened her eyes and said, as she hugged me, “I don’t know what I was thinking. I never wanted to say that, but…”
I stopped her and said, “I know you didn’t mean it. You were sad and mad, at the same time, for not telling you the truth, worried about what you might become, and what Celestia might do to get you back, and hurt to find out that I’m not your actual father. Am I right.”
She nodded and said, “What’s wrong, you seem distance today, and your dreams seem off today.”
I smiled and said, “Nothing, just what my boss said today caught me off guard. That is all”
I sat down and said, “Do you want to watch a movie together?” She shook her head and mumbled something. I said, “Can you speak up, I can’t exactly hear you.”
THen she said, a little louder, “Can we watch My Little Pony, I want to know what happened to me.”
I said, as I went to a big box, “Guess since you already know, It’s no point to hide it.”
I pulled out a case and put in the dvd. Then the title came up. Luna said, with astonishment, “You have the show on dvd.
I said, as I sat right next to her, “Just the first three seasons.” She cuddle up next to me and we watched them. We were halfway through season two, when I noticed Luna was asleep, clutching my arm. I smile, and gently lifted her head, laid it back down, and pulled the blanket up to her chin. I walked to the kitchen and made some dinner. I made some dinner for the ponies and placed it in the fridge and ate dinner and then got ready for bed. After I showered, saved the document, placed it on my desk, and got into my pajamas, I got into bed.
Sometime during the night, I heard a crash, a scream, and a slam, then the scream stopped. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. I heard Luna say, “Did Celestia send you to take me back home, Rarity?” I turned on the light to see, Rarity being squeezed by Luna’s tail. Her face was getting a little tint a blue, she was between horrified and suffocating.
I ran up to Luna and said, as I loosened her coils around Rarity, ‘Luna, stop, of you keep this up you will kill her.”
She blinked, then unwrapped Rarity and said, crying, “I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me. I felt this anger when I saw Rarity walking into the house, like she owned the place.”
I sat next to her and said, ‘I know you didn’t mean any harm.” Then I turned to Rarity and said, “Is this true? Were you going to take Luna back home?”
After getting her air back, she said, “Yes, it is true. I thought I can sneak in here and getting her while she was sleeping, but I knocked over something, then, before I knew it, I was being wrapped in her coils. I feared that I was going to die.
I nodded and said, “Luna, could I measure your tail?” She nodded and slithered to the kitchen and I measure from her waist to the tip of her tail. It was about one and a half feet. I said, why don’t I put some hot chocolate, and we’ll discuss about it. I don’t think we’ll sleep at all tonight.
I made three mugs of hot chocolate and placed them on the table. Once we all had our hot chocolate, Rarity asked “Why hot chocolate, why not tea.”
I said, “Luna’s right now half snake and I don’t have any tea. Let me introduce myself, I’m Eric, last name is not important. I already know who you are, Rarity”
Rarity nodded and took a sip and said, “What happened to other two that were sent here?”
I said, “They are in their room, sleeping. Luna sleeps with me, so I can keep her warm, but we got into an argument one or two nights ago, so she decide to sleep on the couch.”
She said, after taking a few sips, “From what i can tell, she is like your daughter. Am I correct?”
I nodded and said, “Why does Celestia want Luna? I heard from the other two that ponies are having frequent nightmares, but I want your opinion.”
Rarity said, as she set down her hot chocolate, “Princess Celestia is having troubles sleeping, worry about what you’re doing to her, if she is even alive, a constant asking about Luna, and a regular nightmare about her becoming a nightmare. “
I said, “She means you becoming Nightmare Moon. She knows. Oh, I forgot, seems you’re feeling better.”
Rarity said, “You told her? Do you know what that can do to her?”
Luna set her cup down and said, “He didn’t tell me about, I got into his dream and found the name, then I looked it up, and found out that I’m the princess of night and dreams, Sister of Celestia, and formally before and after Nightmare moon being imprisoned on the moon for 1000 years.”
I stared at her, then looked at Rarity, she was in shock at what Luna said. I cleared my throat and said, “I think it will help her make the right decisions. Are you going to take her as well?”
Rarity said, as she levitated her mug into the sink, “I don’t have a choice, I can’t disobey the princess.”
I whispered, in Luna ear, “Do you think you can hypnotized her?”
Luna looked at me surprised, then nodded, know what I meant. then wrapped her up. Rarity said, “Luna, what are you doing? Eric, stop her, she going to kill me.”
I said, as I saw from Rarity’s wet eyes, that Luna’s eyes did a rainbow effect, “Calm down, she’s in control right now, and she is just holding you in place.” Her head slumped forward, I walked up to Luna and said, “We are just sending her back, telling the truth.”
She nodded and said, “When I say awake, you will return to normal, you will return to Equestria, without me, and tell the princess the truth, Awake.”
After a quick conversation, Rarity walked out the door. Then Apple and Amethyst came downstairs. Amethyst said, while she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. “What is going on, I heard the door shut.”
I said, “Morning, It was just Rarity checking what’s going on.”
Apple’s eye widened and she said, “Rarity? So, stepped up to the element, cause we didn’t come back. Is she going to come here, who is she going to send next?”
I walked over to Apple and said, “Apple, you have to calm down. She probably will see that I’m taking good care of her, and will leave us alone.” She calmed down a bit. I walked upstairs, trying to believe what I said is true.
