"So are ya sure it's a human Twi?"
"I am pretty sure Applejack, Venrick fits the description of the books I've read."
"Is he dangerous?"
"I'm not sure Rarity, he didn't seem like he was out to hurt anypony, just get away from us. So, if anything I think he's just scared."

Venrick's eyes slowly opened and let our a groan. "urgh, man that hurt." 
He sat up and rubbed the back of his head,  looking down at the..blankets. "wait...blankets..I'm in a bed and where is my armor...in fact, where is my stuff."
He looked up and saw six colorful ponies standing around the bed in a mixture of surprised, shocked, and one scared hiding behind her hair. The purple one with a horn AND wings stepped forward and cleared her throat.
"greetings Venrick, my name is Twilight sparkle. ?"
Venrick looked at her with an open mouth speechless and looked side to side. "uhhhhh..."
there was a bedside table that had a small thin body and a large flat surface, he looked at Twilight and back to the table. She was curious why he was interested at the table, before she could ask he threw the covers in the air, rolled out of bed and grabbed the table, pointing the flat part at them using it as a shield. All the ponies stepped back and looked at him confused.
"Oi, don't come any closer alright or I'll....umm..uh..throw it at...yoouu.." he said looking at it and realised that was a stupid move. 
a blue pegasus pony with rainbow hair started laughing at him, the orange pony scratched the back of her head, Twilight seemed to look at him with an inquisitive look, the pink one was..bouncing in one spot with a smile and laughing with the blue pegasus, the white pony with a horn took a couple steps back and shared the same expression as Twilight, lastly the yellow Pegasus just kept hiding her face with her hair. I just dropped the nightstand and stood there. 
"We aren't going to hurt you, Venrick. In fact, Applejack and rarity brought you to my house and I healed your little concussion from your fall on..that." 
She pointed to the longboard that was in the corner leant against the wall were Venrick's armor was piled on a chair, his bag, boots, and quilt laying on the floor neatly beside them. He put the nightstand back where it was and looked at all the ponies individually. He cleared his throat.
"Sorry for that, um, and thank you Rarity n' Applejack. Also, how do you know that name?" 
"It's labeled under your armor."
He remembed writing his name on the armor for LARP and rubbed the back oh his head feeling a little embarrassed. 
"oh, right, forgot about that. Well, it's nice to meet you all. My name is Venrick Enyeto Dakotah, what are you names?"
Twilight smiled "well, you know mine, rarity's, and Applejacks. I'll introduce you to my other friends. This is Rainbowdash, Pinkie pie and Fluttershy."
Rainbowdash puffed her chest out and gave a proud smile "I'm one of, if not THE fastest pegasus in Equestria."
Pinkie Pie ran up to Venrick and gave him a big smile. "Nice to meet you Venrick, I've never seen a human before, you are really tall, I'm going to throw you a "welcome to Equestria Venrick" party!" She gave Venrick a big toothy smile followed by her zooming out of the room in a pink blur.
Fluttershy stood there looking down. "It's...nice to meet you, Venrick."
Venrick stood there giving her a confused look. "I guess their names really fit them well...that's real weird." He thought to himself.
"Well, It's nice to meet you all. So, I'm in a town called Equestria huh?"
"no, no, That's the country, the town is called Ponyville."
"Wait, COUNTRY?!"
"Uhh, yes..."
"So you're saying I'm not on earth?"
"Earth? No, this world is called Equus."
Venricks heart started to race and his knees went weak, he fall to the ground and leant against the front of the bed and stared into space with his eyes widened. The ponies gave him a worried look, Twilight ran up to him.
"Are, you ok?"
"I'm...not on earth..I'm in some strange world called Equus. That means I won't see all my friends that I LARP with, my mum and dad back home, friends from high school. I will never see them again.."
Tears rolled down his eyes as he was on the edge of crying knowing he will never see anyone he knew. He slowly lifted a hand to his eyes and covered them. Twilight put a hoof on his shoulder looking sorry for him as well as the rest of the ponies. 
"I'm, so sorry Venrick. I... don't know what to say." 
"It's ok Twilight...it's not your fault."
Fluttershy walks up to him and nuzzles him. "It's ok Venrick, don't cry." 
Venrick moves his hand and looks straight into Fluttershy's eyes,  his breathing steadies and calms down. Venrick had this calm feeling wash over him and all his trouble went away as he stared into her eyes, something about her made him calm and collective. She gave him a soft smile. "you feeling a bit better?"
"y-yeah. I am, thank you." 
He stood up, wiped his eyes and took a deep breath. "Thank you, I needed that." 
all the ponies smiled. Venrick smiled back but could not help feel something in the back of his head making him want to scream, cry and hit the wall until it broke. 
"So, I'm guessing after Skating through the town I've made a bit of a trouble haven't I?"
Rarity smiled sheepishly. "Well Darling, you did nearly hit Minuette and knock over a stall with that ..thing of yours."
Venrick scratched the back of his head and looked down. 
"I better apologise for that shouldn't I?"
Rarity nodded. 
Venricks stomach rumbled and he looked at the girls embarrassed.
"We should go to Sugarcube corner and get something to eat," Twilight said with a smile
"I'd like that."

Venrick took off his poncho to feel more comfortable in just his jeans and shirt, He put on his boots and looked at his things. He knelt down to his bag and pulled out his phone, wallet, and put it in each front pockets of his jeans, zipped up his bag and looked towards Twilight.
"are we going to be coming back here? 
"I do think so, it should be fine for you to leave your stuff here." 
Venrick smiled and stood up. "alright, lead the way."  
Twilight and her friends led Venrick outside of the castle, it was a little cool with a soft breeze in the hair as the sun was nearly about to set, Venrick seemed to have passed out for a couple of hours. As they started making their way to a part of Ponyville. Venrick was confused on where they were going since there were no ponies around, he looked at Applejack who was right next to him. 
"so, uh. Why Sugarcube corner?"
"Oh, well remember what Pinkie Pie said? She's throwing you a party and we are going to it."
"oh..wait she was serious?"
"When it comes to parties, she's always serious."
The group made their way to a building that looked like a gingerbread house with two giant cupcakes on the top, frosting, candy, the whole lot. Venricks stomach growled as he saw the building, the girls looked at him and giggled.
"wait until we get inside, Pinkies food is delicious." Rainbow dash said as they got closer to the building.
When they got to the front door the stood a good 4 feet away from the building. Applejack pushed Venrick to the front door and gestured him to open it, He looked at her with confusion  and back at the door knob. He reached for it and held it, his heart beat fast, he gripped it tight and opened the door. The lights turned on, confetti shot out into his face, party blowers ring in his ear, and all the ponies cheered. There were decorations everywhere with pastries and cakes all on a table with punch, a banner was above the counter that read "welcome to Ponyville Venrick." Venrick stood there with a surprised look on his face.
"WELCOME!" All the ponies said in unison.
"Uhhhhh..." Venrick could only say as most of the ponies in Ponyville were here. 
"Come on, let's have some fun!"  
Pinkie grabbed Venricks hand and pulled him  into the house, Twilight, and her friends came in after and began partying  with the ponies. There was a DJ booth blasting music with a blue hair earth pony with glasses, the music was actually catchy and he was enjoying it. He made his way to the table with all the food and cakes on it, there he saw the pony Minuette there with some other ponies. He walked up to her and cleared his throat. She and the other ponies looked at him and gave him a smile while Minuette gave him an uneasy one.
"Uh, hey, I'm Venrick. I just want to say I'm really sorry about nearly colliding with you earlier today when I was on my longboard."
"It's ok, just try to be a little more careful ok? by the way, were are you from?"
Venrick thought for a second on what he was going to say, but then had an idea.
"hold on for a minute because I'm about to announce that." 
Venrick ran over to pinkie pie and whispered in her ear, she gave a big smile and yelled. "Hey everypony, Venrick wants to say something!" 
Every eye locked onto him. the music went quiet since he was six feet tall he towered over everypony so he didn't have to climb on something to be seen by them. He cleared his throat, shaking a little from every eye on him but he began.
"Hi..uh, my name is Venrick Enyeto Dakotah and I am..well, human."
Lyra clapped her hooves "yeah!" 
Logan looked at her weirdly. "After..talkting to Twilight I have realized something.. I am not from this world, I come from a world where humans dominate the world called earth, I was taken away from my world by something that I can't quite explain and came to this on. I am not sure if it was fate or by a random chance, but I know I won't be going anywhere anytime soon...so, enjoy the party and have fun." 
All the ponies clapped their hooves together and cheered, the music came back on and the party went back into full swing. Venrick sighed softly and walked back towards the table of food, as he got to the table he got a plate of different pastries, treats, found a place to sit and started to eat. It tasted amazing, the brownies were soft and tasty,  the cake was moist and soft, cupcakes exploded with taste and the pie was simply to die for.  "Oh my god, I want ALL the food here," he thought to himself as he finished his plate. He felt a nudge on his shoulder and he looked to his left, Lyra was standing there with a big smile and two cups of punch floating in the air surrounded by a gold aura. 
"Want a drink?"
"Uh, sure, thank you."
"No problem, wunna go sit down somewhere?"
"sure, I'm cool with that."
Venrick and lyra sat on a couch, lyra using her magic to floated the drink to him. He looked at how it was floating in mid-air and hesitantly grabbed it, his hand felt a little tingle as his hand touched the magic surrounding the cup but went away as the magic did. He took a sip of the cup and looked what was in it.
"Is this cherry?"
"Mhm, great isn't it? So what's it like were you are from? how many humans live in your world, what's your hobby, do you have magic were your from?"
"That's a lot of questions.." 
"Sorry, it's just humans are so cool from what I read."
"Heh, alright, well. In my world there's a lot of conflict due to politics, religion, and people with indifferent minds, there are roughly 7 billion humans in the world, my hobbies are: dressing in armor with foam weapons with other people and smack each other with the weapons, playing music, longboarding, watching movies, and I like to read once and a while."
"Oh, wow.." Lyra looked up to him in awe  
"mmhmm," Venrick replied taking a sip from his cup.
"Hey, lyra is it?"
"yes."
"Do you have alcohol in this world?"
"We do, in fact, we have some at this party."
"could you bring me a cup, please?"
"uh, sure."
Lyra got off the couch and headed upstairs. While she went to get the drink Venrick sat there zoned out. "so this is what my life has come to now? Colorful, talk, flying, magical ponies. I don't know if I can get used to this..I really need a drink" 
Lyra came back with a cup and handed it to Venrick. "here you are."
"Oh, thanks."
Venrick kicked it back and chugged the whole cup. Lyra watched with wide eyes as he finished it. Venrick looked to Lyra and raised an eyebrow.
"You call this alcohol? tastes like lemonade."
"Oh, well I didn't know what type of alcohol you're into so I go the one I like."
"Well, it's not bad, but I wanna try some of the heavy stuff you have in this world."
"Alright, well follow me."
Lyra and Venrick headed upstairs, one the second floor was a hallway with three doors, a balcony overseeing the party below with a table full of different kinds of alcoholic beverages and some stallions and mares were talking, and stairs leading to a pink door with party balloons on it. two had signs saying do not open and the other door was closed and some ponies were lining up for it. Venrick kept following Lyra until they got to the drinks. The mares and stallions looked at him, mostly happy smiles. He was looking at the bottles and seeing the alcohol content, one was called, "Maple syrup vodka." "eh, good enough," he though and pours a glass. He took one swig and finished it all. 
"Easy on the alcohol, don't want you passing out," Lyra said while pouring another one of her lemonade alcoholic drinks.
"It takes more than that to get me drunk"
Lyra raised an eyebrow "You humans must really like your alcohol."
"Yeah, sure I guess." 
A stallion with a caramel colored coat and brown mane walked up to Venrick and nudged him. "Hey there human, so you think you can hold your drinks."
Venrick turns to him and looks down at him. "Who wants to know?"
"Names Caramel, and yourself?"
"Venrick." 
"Well, Venrick. Want to make this party a little more interesting?"
"How so?
"Let's see who can finish ten shots of Applejack's Whiskey first, wins."
"Make it ten glasses and you're on, mate." 
Venrick and Caramel were sitting  at a table with ten glasses on each side in the middle of the party, everypony was cheering. Venrick and Caramel were staring into each others eyes with narrow eyebrows. Venrick crossed his arms  while Caramel just sat there, Pinkie Pie jumped up behind the table and began to speak. "Alright everypony, we have Venrick on one side and Caramel on the other. Let's see who can down their drinks the fastest! want to say something before we begin?"
Venrick smiled. "If I win I walk away with a bottle of my choice."
"Just knowing I beat a human at a drinking contest is enough for me," Caramel replied.
"Alright, everypony get ready!"
Caramel reached for the first drink as well as Venrick.
"GO!" Pinkie cried.
Caramel was quick to put the glass to his mouth and started chugging the drink, Venrick smiled and watched before taking two glasses, Finishing the first in one swig and the second with one swig. The ponies were going wild and cheering. Caramel looked at Venrick and couldn't believe what he saw, Venrick on his third glass while he just finished his fist. Venrick kept at his technique by holding two glasses and finishing them really quick. By the time Caramel was on his 5th Venrick slammed the tenth glass down. 
"VICTORY!" He yelled and threw his hands in the air. All the ponies clapped their hooves and cheered for Venrick. 
"How!" Caramel asked looking at the empty glasses in front of Venrick.
"Being Australian!" He said with a big smile and laughing.
Ponies laughed at his statement while Caramel looked down in defeat. Later, He took a unopen bottle of maple syrup vodka from the table and began to sway a little while descending the stairs to look for Twilight. He bumped into Lyra who gave him a big smile.
"Wow you really did it, you beat Caramel at the drinking game. Besides Big Mac, no pony has beaten him."
"Aw yeah, well. I'm looking for Twilight because the drinks are starting to kick in and I rather get into a bed before doing something stupid." 
"Well, if you want we can go back to mine. I have a bed you can sleep in." 
Lyra gave Venrick half-lid eyes and a little smile. Venrick  looked at her eyes for a couple of seconds.
"well, my stuff is at Twilights. If my stuff was with me I'd take you up on that offer. but, for now. Time to find Twilight."  
Venrick walked away still searching for the purple pony, Lyra watched with a sad look. Bonbon walked up to Lyra and narrowed her eyes. 
"Did you just try to-"
"N-NO!"  
Venrick keeps stumbling around and eventually finds Twilight with her friends. "H-hey, Twilight. I, uh. really need a bed to lay on.."
"after that little stunt with Caramel I wouldn't doubt it.."
"can I like, crash at yours since my stuff is there?"
"uh, sure it shouldn't be a problem."
"Great! See you in the morning! Later girls" 
Venrick started to walk towards the exit.
"Venrick, won't you need help getting back?" asked Twilight.
"naaaah, I remember the way, I should be able to make it back"
Venrick walked out of sugar cube corner with a bottle in one hand and stumbled his way to Twilights castle.
After thirty minutes of stumbling around and trying to find the castle he finally found it and opened the door. As he  closed it behind him he pressed his back against the door and looked to the ground, giving a soft sigh. He kept walking through the halls and made his way to the bedroom. He opened the door and scanned the bedroom, the bed was tidy, his things were where he left them and everything seemed to be in order...a little too much in order when he and the girls left. Everything was really tidy then he last left, "Since magic is a thing in this world I bet she just used some cleaning spell of something, I don't know.." He just noticed the door on the left that was mostly glass and it led to a balcony with two chairs on it. He opened the door and sat on one of the chairs, looking out towards the town. He could see far and wide of the land and all the houses scattered out across it, some houses still had lights on and he could see the town hall and Sugarcube corner, well, just the top of it. He opened the bottle he held in his hand and held it out. 
"To me being taken away from my family, my friends, my world, and to this strange unknown world with talking ponies and fucking magic," he began drinking from the bottle, a tear fell from his cheek followed by another one, he held the bottle out again.
"Oh, and to being the ONLY human in this godforsaken land, the last of my people, to that, I say FUCK IT!" 
He drunk and more of the bottle. He only got half way before it fell out of his hand and onto the floor. He attempted three times to pick up the bottle and was successful on the fourth, he put the lid on it and sighed. "guess that's enough now...." He stumbled towards the bed, putting the bottle under the bedside table, He took off his shirt, threw it to the chair that had his things on it, and climbed into bed. He stared at the ceiling and sighed again, relaxing his body, he put his arm over his eyes and smiled. 
"At least this bed is really comfy, today has been really fucking weird, let's just hope it isn't as bad tomorrow." With those words, he started to drift off and sleep.
