On a usual morning in mid July, Fluttershy was going to the store for Angel's special salad, which was the only thing he would eat and refused to eat anything else. As she was walking she was making a mental list of the things she needed 

"Carrots, one cherry, one bunch of asparagus..." 

When suddenly, Rainbow Dash  whooshed by screaming 

"All Pegasus ponies: very  important meeting at the library 4 'o' clock, it is mandatory that you come!!!" 

and dumping flyers over the heads of the groups of Pegasus ponies. Fluttershy picked up a flier, it read 

'Tornado duty, Cloudsdale needs water!!'

Fluttershy put her ears back and said 

"Oh my, I'm not sure I can do that, it sounds scary. Only the strong Pegasus will be able to make a difference, I guess they 
won't need my help...  Oh but she said it was mandatory, I guess I'll have to go."

(Later after the meeting at the library, Rainbow Dash sees Fluttershy trying to sneak away)

"FLUTTERSHY!" 

Fluttershy flinched. 

"Just where do you think you're going?!"

"Oh, I was just... not feeling well (cough, cough) so.... I was just going to go home.... yeah." Fluttershy, mustering up a not very convincing, innocent smile.

"Fluttershy, are you trying to get out of tornado duty again?!"

"Oh no, I would never try to do that..."

"Oh really?" said Rainbow Dash, not convinced.

"Then why did I have to DRAG you out of your house to get you to come!?" 

Fluttershy, now fidgeting says in a nervous voice, "Well um... oh is it that time all ready? I have to go um... feed Angel! you know how hungry he can get..." Fluttershy took off running to her house 

"Fluttershy!!!" rainbow dash yelled after her in an exasperated tone. "You better be at practice tomorrow!!!"

"Hey, Rainbow? what's going on I heard some yelling and decided to check it out." said Twilight Sparkle, trotting up to Rainbow Dash.

"Oh sorry Twilight. It's just that Fluttershy runs away from everything!"

Without warning, Pinkie Pie rams into Rainbow Dash, breathing heavily.

"I... new...pony...town..."

"Whoa, whoa, take a breath, Pinkie!" says Twilight "Just tell us what happened...slowly" 

The fuchsia earth pony took a few more breaths before continuing.

"Well I was just walking along and then I saw somepony I never saw before then I stopped and then he stopped then I ran up to him then and then he freaked out and jumped into a bush then I said hi to the pony in the bush then he made a sound that sounded like, heeeeeeeeiiiiiiii then I was like WHOAH and he was freaked out again and ran away and I chased after him then I couldn't find him then I ran here!" concluded pinkie pie with a big breath

"What's this I hear about a new pony in town?" said Applejack as she trotted over to the group, over hearing the conversation.

"Pinkie saw some new pony then scared him away" Rainbow Dash said sarcastically

"Hey! I did not!!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie as she glowered at Rainbow Dash 

"Well the logical thing to do now is to find this new pony and welcome him to Ponyville."

Pinkie Pie jumped up around excitedly and said 

"I saw him running towards the evergreen forest!"

"Wait, I thought you said you lost him?" said Applejack quizzically, watching the earth pony jump around excitedly. 

"You know what... never mind."
