Seth changed Rathordius colliding with him and sending him onto the ground. As Rathordius fell he turned back into his normal form and landed. Seth stood above Rathordius scowling. Rathordius chuckled and kicked Seth in the chest sending him flying. Rathordius then got up to his feet and summoned his sword that was almost if not more twisted then he looked. Rathordius grabbed the huge greatsword and prepared to start the most legendary sword fight in all of history.
Seth knew Rathordius was going to do anything to win so there was no need not to be cheap in this fight there was no rules here accept for when you die you don't come back. Seth back stepped as Rathordius swung his massive greatsword at him. Seth then retaliated with a attempted slash to the chest but failed when he hit the image of Rathordius that vanished with the darkness around him.
"You know boy the last time you fought me was when I was a mindless beast. The four Primordial Lords had their way for a while but I soon put them in their place. You are now fighting me when I am operating at full power, aware, and in control of my body" Rathordius says as he kicked Seth in the back sending him flying.
Seth caught himself in the air by flapping his wings, "Well I've had time to prepare for this as well Rathordius. You're not the only one who has become more powerful and wise here" Seth snarled as he raised his sword into the air as golden lightning struck it. Seth then had the jewel in the handle glow blindingly on his sword before he shot a blast of pure holy magic at Rathordius.
Rathordius huffed in irritation as he used his arms and blade to attempt to minimize the damage of the attack. After the dust cleared Twilight, her friends and Luna decided to aid Seth in the fight. In response to this Rathordius looked over and snarled as he summoned two guards. How ever these two guards were no ordinary knights. They were the generals of the Abyssalite army, Qualani and Naraz the first of the Abyssalite army and the eldest of the fighters that served Rathordius loyally.
"Naraz, Qualani exterminate these pests they shan't interfere with fate," Rathordius says as Qualani and Naraz nod and face the group of ponies.
"It shall be done my lord" They both said in unison their voices somewhat beautiful and hypnotizing. Qualani drew her katana as Naraz summoned his staff and drew his straight sword holding it in his left hand.
Rathordius then turned his head to Seth as he smiled ear to ear in some crooked and disturbing demonic manner, "Lets continue shall we?" Rathordius says as he flew up into the air and held up his hand generating a massive ball of Abyssalite magic. Seth saw and felt a massive attack coming that could potentially leave an opening for him to attack Rathordius.
Rathordius expanded the ball of darkness as Seth prepared to activate his holy aura that would allow him to deflect any type of attack and was designed specifically to block Abyssalite magic. Rathordius then released the spell making the area around the two explode with dark energy. Seth activated his shield just in time to avoid a potentially violent death. If that were to have hit him then it would have not only knocked him back but it would cause him and Xavier to violently combust and be ripped out of the fabric of reality itself.
As Seth deflected the attack he took his chance to strike Rathordius. As Rathordius slowly descended to the ground Seth dashed over and swiped across his chest making Rathordius roar in agony. Rathordius regained his composure before looking at Seth and grabbing him by the neck with a unseen force. Seth struggled as Rathordius held him in a death grip, just as Rathordius was about to shove his hand through Seth he was blasted by a heavenly force. Rathordius was send flying and landed a few feet away.
As Rathordius looked up he saw Celestia her eyes completely white and glowed harshly, "Hands off my brother Dralanian scum!" She hissed in a distorted voice. Seth looked over surprised as Celestia had obviously some how obtained angelic power but he didn't sense any other angel on the planet. This raised questions in his mind as she walked forward as Rathordius got up. Seth eventually came to the conclusion that this might have been natural unexplained power or a very powerful spirit or a multitude of spirits aiding her against Rathordius.
Rathordius got up to his feet as he felt himself bleeding for the attack. His helmet was cracked and was almost ready to shatter. Rathordius raised his sword in the air as it emitted a high pitched ringing that would have made any normal pony's ears bleed. Seth got up and stood next to Celestia as they prepared to take Rathordius on together.
As Discord looked at the foot of the mountain seeing a huge circle where the knights didn't enter he took note that he saw Seth, Tia, Luna, Twilight and her friends, and Rathordius with his two generals fighting to the death. Discord narrowed his eyes as Chrysalis walked up next to him.
"I know what you're thinking discord and I get it. You want to help them exact revenge on the very god who put your race to near extinction. So go fight the rest of us here will operate the ship and take out the army. You need to aid them in the fight and help defeat that miserable fiend," Chrysalis says as Discord looks at her and silently agrees as he got up from his chair and exited the room to get his armor on and warp down to aid the others.
Luna struck Naraz on the shoulder making him hiss at her and knock her away with a shock wave. The area around them was complete chaos as the knights surrounding the area simply watched as they all fought to the death. Twilight and her friends split up and surrounded Qualani as and took care of her while Luna herself faced Naraz.
Qualani jumped up into the air and back flipped out of the circle. Aj used her rope to tangle Qualani's legs together. This really had no effect on the demoness as she effortlessly snapped the rope by moving her legs out some. As this distracted Qualani a little bit Dash and Twilight took this opening and attacked her. Twilight shot multiple bolts of magic as Dash flew into Qualani kicking her and landing on her back cracking some of her bones.
Qualani gritted her teeth and threw Dash off of her. Qualani then took Dash by the tail and swung her around before letting her go sending her flying into the mountain base.
Pinkie growled at the mere sight of this and grabbed a ion cannon out of seemingly no where, "BITCHES LOVE CANNONS!" She yells as she shot Qualani with the cannon. Qualani roared as she was knocked back into the crowd of knights.
Qualani was helped up by the knights and pushed back into the circle. Pinkie walked forward as her eyes were literally filled with fire and pure absolute rage. Her mane was fattened out and went pure goth emo as she walked forward to Qualani. Qualani charged forward only to be caught by Pinkie and thrown back down again. Pinkie stood above Qualani as the others activated the elements. Pinkie joined them after she paralyzed Qualani for a brief moment using less the pleasant methods she learned.
Qualani met her fate as the elements blasted her turning her to stone. Twilight turned her attention to Naraz who was still locked in combat with Luna. How ever Naraz seemed to be wiping the floor with Luna. Luna was being knocked around by black tentacles that emerged from Naraz's back. His wide variety of magic was also part of the reason Luna couldn't handle the Arch Necromancer well either. But sense Luna was no match for Naraz Twilight sure as hell knew who was. She was the element of magic and if anything she could beat Naraz in a magic duel.
Twilight walked forward and levitated Luna out of Naraz's way as she stepped up to the plate, "So this lesser pony thinks she can take on me? Naraz the most powerful mage in the universe?!" Naraz boasted as Twilight scoffs at him.
"Not for long bucko Im the element of magic and I say that the tidal of most powerful mage goes to the survivor of this battle!" Twilight says as she casted several protection wards and strengthening spells on herself.
Naraz scoffed and did the same as he used his staff to strengthen his raw power he held. The two stared each other down as Twilight's horn lit up and Naraz's staff started to glow with a sickening black aura. The battle between the two most adept magic users in existence was about to take place now...
As Rathordius was knocked back his helmet shattered into bazillions of shards revealing his Elvin face, "Damn you, you bastard!" Rathordius cussed under his breath as he got up again and opened a portal before teleporting behind Seth and throwing him in it. As Seth went into the black portal Rathordius followed. Celestia then entered after Rathordius dissipated.
Seth was spat out into Rathordius's throne room that was decorated with obsidian and lava infused floors. As Seth got up Rathordius jumped through the portal and landed on the floor. Seth rubbed his head and stood on his feet, he looked up at Rathordius who was approaching him slowly. Seth went forward and struck Rathordius's blade with god like force. The two had their blades clash many times sending sparks flying.
Celestia jumped through the portal and landed behind Rathordius. Rathordius turned around and used his magic to pin Celestia against the wall firmly. As he did this Rathordius felt Seth shove his sword through his back. Rathordius grunted in pain before pushing the blade out of him and using his power to heal the wound. As he took his attention off of Celestia she fell to the ground no longer being held by Rathordius's magical grip.
Celestia stood up and took hold of her sword again. Rathordius had finished healing himself and growled in frustration before splitting himself in two so he could focus on them both at once. Rathordius's clone rushed at Celestia and clashed with her blade harshly making Celestia slide back a bit. She knew this phantom wasn't as strong as Rathordius but it was enough to keep her busy. On top of this he was now weakened and easier to beat on Seth's part so this could be an advantage if they took this chance and used it correctly.
Seth clashed with the real Rathordius striking harder then before due to how Rathordius weakened himself. Rathordius was now struggling to keep up in battle now. This had been a huge mistake to split in two because now he was much more vulnerable and weak. Which meant a few more strikes from Seth's blade and he would be done for. Rathordius would not lose to these two fools he wouldn't lose again he is so close to victory he can feel it. But in the back of his mind he knew he was going to fail because this was destined for him as it is for all villains.
Seth slashed through Rathordius's chest again causing him to roar in agony, "ENOUGH! I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOU FOOLS! I REFUSE TO LOSE TO YOU AGAIN!" Rathordius roared as he raised his hand up in the air generating a massive ball of darkness, "IF I CANT WIN THEN I'LL TAKE YOU BASTARDS WITH ME!" Rathordius says as Seth narrowed his eyes. He had one shot at this and if he missed it would all be over.
Seth aimed at Rathordius's chest as time slowed down. Seth could hear himself breath and his heart beat slowly as he let the blade lose and threw it at Rathordius. Rathordius looked down but it was already too late. The blade had pierced his chest and his very soul. Rathordius choked on his own essence as they were warped back to Equestria onto the battle field. Everyone stared at Rathordius as he dropped his blade and was on his knees choking. Rathordius struggled to get the blade out of his chest as cracks formed in his armor and flesh as light shined out of his body.
Rathordius let out one final scream before exploding into chunks of black mud, flesh, and metal. Naraz turned to see his king die and growled, "Retreat!" He yelled as the Abyssalite soldiers and demons fled back into the portals that were created. The royal army chased the demons and knights shouting random things and obscenities. Seth sighed and sat down before vacating Xavier's body turning him back to normal.
Xavier fell to the ground unconscious causing Celestia to rush over to his aid, "Xavier! Xavier!" She shouted as Xavier's hearing and sight faded. Silence fell upon him and for the first time in three millenniums he was at peace...
Xavier woke up in a hospital bed to the sound of a primitive life support machine beeping. Xavier sat up and groaned, "Ugh where am I?" He asked as he looked around the room. As he looked to his left he saw his sister sleeping in a chair right next to him. Xavier weakly reached out and shook her.
This startled Celestia awake causing her to gasp. She looked over at Xavier who was bandaged up and had burn marks and scars all over him, "Xavier!" She said hugging him.
"H-hey Tia whats up?" Xavier asked weakly hugging back.
"Nothing I was just waiting for you to wake up and well you finally woke up!" Celestia said joyfully.
"How long was I out?" Xavier asked as Celestia looked at him.
"Only a day or two. Surprisingly you recovered quickly from the corruption that was infecting you" Celestia says as she got up, "Can you walk? Pinkie has set up a celebration party for you sense you killed Rathordius" Celestia said as Xavier slid out of bed and stood up.
"Yeah I can walk lets go we shouldn't keep them waiting," Xavier says chuckling as Celestia helped him walk to the castle ball room.
As Xavier opened the doors to the ball room it was pitch black. Xavier felt around for the light switch and turned it on before everyone in the room shouted "surprise". Xavier chuckled as he walked in and was greeted by Twilight, her friends, Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor.
"Hey guys what up?" Xavier asked his voice a bit hoarse.
"Not much we just threw this party to celebrate your victory!" Pinkie says estatically.
Xavier chuckled as Twilight tackled him. She pinned him to the floor and forcefully made out with him. As this happened so suddenly everyone else said, "Ooooo!" As twilight made out with Xavier.
She eventually broke the kiss to see Xavier blushing furiously, "U-uh w-wow" He said as Twilight giggled.
Xavier got up and looked around as everyone started enjoying the party, "I guess we should start enjoying ourselves hmm?" Xavier asked as Twilight grabbed him by the arm and dragged him off to the dance floor.
Xavier spent the rest of the night parting his heart out with the others. Luna finally forgave Xavier as everyone else praised him as the greatest hero to ever live. Shining apologized for antagonizing Xavier and surprisingly Xavier brushed it off and had already forgiven Shining. The rest of the night was one if not the best night of Xavier's entire life...
As everyone else partied few troops were sent out to clean up the corpses on the foot of Canterlot mountain. As one of the soldiers levitated Qualani's statue onto a cart he looked over and came across a large puddle of black resedue. The soldier curiously walked up to it not knowing what the hell it was. Out of pure and dumb curiosity he poked the puddle. As he did the black good quickly crawled up his arm and into his mouth. As this happened the guard clearly put up a visual struggle that his friend clearly saw.
"Hey Blaze are you alright?" Blaze's friend asked as Blaze calmed down.
"Oh yes I've never been better" Rathordius answered as his eyes glowed fiery red with his eyes slit like a dragons. he blinked once making his eyes turn back to normal and turned around, "I'm perfectly fine..." Rathordius says chuckling as his friend raised and eyebrow,
"Eh okay... freak" The other pony muttered as Rathordius smirked as his friend turned around.
"Oh dear Seth we all know you can't kill whats already dead..." Rathordius says staring up at the heavens with a demonic grin on his face, "Hear me Seth this time I will succeed!" Rathordius says as he dropped the broom and headed back to Blaze's home in Ponyville to plan phase two. This was far from over...
