Chapter 6

"Zzzz...."
"Zzzz..."
BLAST!!
Looking back swiftly to make sure I didn't wake anyone, I sighed in relief at the fact that my siblings had not woken up, and more so at the fact that my horn ache was now completely gone. You know when your'e in the middle of your day and you just feel like you could take on the world? That's how I felt now that it didn't feel like I had a burning stake being driven into my head. I wanted to stay up and play games on Steam, but my brother would have a fit if he saw me staying up so late on a work night. Besides, it was 11:30, and now that I had my new job at Sweet Apple Acres I should probably take on some responsibly. I couldn't have Roam doing all the work, now could I? Actually, I could do that, but helping out was nicer.
I took one last look at the others to make sure I hadn't woken anyone up, then drifted off to sleep.
~One hour later~
I woke up in a cold sweat again, the same nightmare I had last night was back, except this time it took place in Canterlot. At this point I decided I shouldn't go to sleep, but I needed to be wide awake for tomorrow, so I went back to the Dreamscape, only this time I went into the dream of a bunch of fillies, since I figured their dreams would be pleasant, and they were. By the time four-o'clock rolled around, I had already been transported to a place where all sorts of candy grew on trees, a beach that was so awesome and peaceful it could be mistaken for heaven, and a winter wonderland.
"Why did I ever stop going into these dreams?" I wondered to myself before heading into another one, which was a place in which world peace had been accomplished, before I heard my alarm clock start ringing from beyond the walls of the dream reality. I sighed; I didn't want to leave so soon. But I found my soul wanting to wake up, so I obliged.
