"Ugh, what's taking her so long?" Rainbow Dash groaned whilst in her pajamas with a bowl of popcorn on her laps.
"Patience Rainbow Dash dear," Rarity noted "I'm sure Sunset Shimmer will arrive momentarily." Rarity pauses then rubbed behind her head "I just do hope what she brings won't be as disappointing as last time." Rarity rolls her eyes.
"But Sonic Boom wasn't THAT bad!" Pinkie Pie explained with a confused look.
"Trust me Pinkie dear, it was." Rarity crosses her arms and sighs "Do you remember how many glitches Sunset found within the game?"
"Ah've lost count back then," Applejack stated whilst using her phone then smiles "anyways Sunset sent me a text sayin she found a game and will be here in about a minute or two."
"Oh really?... What did she get?" Fluttershy asked.
Applejack looks back at her phone scrolling through the chat "Uhmm, FARCRY 4 ah think."
"Never heard of it." Rarity said looking slightly confused.
"Really? You never heard of it?" Rainbow questioned Rarity right beside her "It's game about saving a wild land from a evil dictator whilst doing other stuff like-"
Just as Rainbow Dash was about to explain to Rarity about the game, Sunset Shimmer came through the door to her bedroom soaking wet from the rain where all her friends were waiting, they were all having a sleepover at Sunset Shimmer's house and were all planning out to watch Sunset Shimmer play a game she was choosing to rent at her nearest game store.
"Sorry I was late, the queue was huge because of this 'Phantom Pain' game that just came out today," Sunset said whilst panting slightly as if she ran from the store back to her house "I might consider renting that game too sometime."
"I'll get you a towel darling..." Rarity said whilst standing up to get Sunset a towel from the bathroom.
"Soooo... do you have the game?" Rainbow questioned.
Sunset opens her wet carrier bag and brings out the game "Here it is!" she said bringing out an Xbox One case with the FARCRY 4 cover.
After inserting the disc in, Sunset sits back on her sofa in her changed pyjamas and towel wrapped around her whilst her friends were sitting around her. Rarity brushes her hair still keeping her eyes on the screen, Rainbow Dash grabs a handful of popcorn from the bowl on her lap and scoffs them, the rest were just sitting there resting and waiting for the game to load up. Sunset selects single player since she only has one controller, she figured she'll let the others have a turn playing it.
"I can't believe that guy stabbed one of his own men to death!" Rainbow said with a weak smile.
"Well ah can't believe he stabbed that guy with a fork!" Applejack comments while shuddering.
Sunset laughs "Got to admit, that part did gave me a bad feeling on my-" Sunset looks back at the screen when interrupted by the sound of a small animal squealing, a small black and white furry animal approached her from a bush and attacks her player "Sweet Celestia what the heck is that!" she yelled launching herself back on the sofa as she sprayed bullets from her sub machine gun towards the threat. After reloading twice and with critical health remaining she manages to kill it.
Rainbow giggles "Nice aim." Sunset glared at her.
"I... I think that was a honey badger." Fluttershy spoke covering half of her face with shock.
Sunset sighs and looks back at Fluttershy "I'm sorry Fluttershy, but I had to. I don't think I could have out-run it."
"Hey, mind if I take over?" Rainbow asks.
Sunset sighs "sure" then hands her the controller.
Rainbow Dash looks towards the dead animal to see that she can interact with its corpse "Skin Animal? What does that do?"
"Rainbow NO!" Sunset yelled waving her arm to stop her, but she was too late. The player pulled out his machete and cut opened the animal with it to pull out a chunk of meat from the animal and placed it inside a bag whilst making a disgusted groan.
Everyone in the room had their eye's widened whilst Rainbow Dash was covering her mouth in regret. Fluttershy suddenly got up covering hers too with her cheeks expanded and ran to the bathroom.
Everyone at the room glared at Rainbow Dash for what she had done "What?" she shrugged innocently.
Rainbow Dash looks through the store menu to find a new and better weapon than the one she currently has, only to find something more interesting.
"A wingsuit? Awesome!"
"Now now Rainbow Dash, you did say you were going to get that machine gun that you've been saving up for the past five minutes or so, you sure you want to change your mind?" Pinkie noted in a teasing tone.
Rainbow Dash huffs "Are you freaking kidding me? What can possibly be better than a wingsuit!" without hesitation she purchases the wingsuit, bringing down her Rupee (the in-game currency) down to 14₭. Almost everyone around Rainbow facepalmed for what she had done.
"Okay, let's test this badboy out!" Rainbow Dash immediately exits the store menu then runs outside the safehouse to find a cliff, jumping off the cliff she then pulls out the wingsuit only to last 2 seconds airborne then crashes into a tree causing the player to die.
Everyone in the room was bursting in laughter and eventually tears after Rainbow Dash's stunt apart from herself who was both blushing and glaring around the others.
"T- Totally worth it eh Rainbow Dash?" Applejack struggles to speak whilst rolling in laughter and causing the others to laugh slightly louder from her question.
"Oh come on you all, that was only my first attempt. It wasn't that funny!" Rainbow Dash shrugged blushing harder.
After around a minute of painful laughter, the laughter dies down only to have a few a chuckles and giggles here and there.
Rarity clears her throat "Pardon me darling, but mind if I may have a turn with the controler?"
Rainbow Dash groans "Fine, let's see you try and do better!" handing her the controller then crosses her arms like a angry 10 year old.
After a lot of climbing with the grappling hook, Rarity finds a tall and abandon looking tower covered with vines. Judging by the barricaded walls and the 3 guards patrolling around the entrance of the tower, it seems that entry is being prevented.
Sunset makes an interested hum "That must be one of the bell towers Sabal was talking about."
"I think he wanted us to capture it somehow" Fluttershy noted.
Rarity brings out her AK-47 out and aims it towards one of the guards to strike for an attack. Only to be interrupted by Rainbow Dash grabbing her shoulder.
"Wait!" Rainbow Dash quickly yelled "Throw a stone at that!" she points towards a beehive just on the porch of the entrance where one of the guards are standing close by.
Rarity's face became from concentrated to a smirk as she got a bit closer through the bushes then throws a stone at the beehive which then smashes on the ground causing an angry herd of bees to quickly appear and attack the guard standing by. The guard soon fell to his death whilst Rarity quickly killed the two remaining guards who were conveniently standing next to each other with her AK-47. The angry bee swarm soon faded away.
"Great call Rainbow!" Sunset complimented.
"Rarity you might want to use first-aid" Fluttershy suggested.
Rarity nods in response and uses first aid. The player showed he had a thumb that was bent backwards then grabs it to force it back into place. Rarity makes a fist close to her mouth in disgust "Oh dear... That's got to hurt"
Everyone in the room nodded in agreement with disgusted expressions.
"Owey" Pinkie spoke.
Rarity enters the bell tower and begins to climb it. After a lot of jumping over gaps and climbing up ladders, Rarity finally makes it to the top of the belltower. Rarity starts to open the three crates that were lying around near the radio box.
"A condom?" Rarity said in surprise when opening a crate to find a condom.
"I hope that's just for selling." Sunset cringes.
Rarity shrugs it off then proceeds to the radio box to trigger a semi cutscene where the player smashes the radio box and pulls out it's battery which then shows another cutscene to show three interesting locations around the belltower.
"Good job Rarity, now let's use that wire to get down quickly." Sunset said.
Rarity pulls a smirk "I have a better idea..." she then steps on the edge of the platform (away from the wire), looks down to examine the hight then looks back forwards.
"Uh... Rarity?" Pinkie spoke.
Almost immediately she jumps off the edge which causes some gasps around the room. She then quickly pulls out the wingsuit to glide down the mountain avoiding all the trees in her way to prevent the same mistake Rainbow Dash had made. Around half a minute she glides off the mountain to pull out her parachute and lands safely on the ground.
"Now that is how it's done." Rarity smirks towards her friends who were practically cheering for her successful stunt.
"B-but how!?" Rainbow Dash questioned loudly with a slight blush.
Rarity giggles in response "You hadn't even had the patients to estimate your path last time you used it Rainbow Dash dear."
"I was, I was just... I just... I..." Rainbow Dash let out a groan in frustration then plants her face in the bowl of popcorn she still had on her lap.
"Sunset dear, I think you should have your go back. Besides it's your video game." Rarity said in a polite manner and hands Sunset the controller.
"Okay, thanks!" Sunset replied and takes the controller from Rarity.
Sunset finds a small hut with the sound of a radio signal of someone begging for help, entering the hut she finds a radio on the table which was a start of a Scavenge Side Mission.
"I think we should help him." Fluttershy said.
"I agree, let's help him" Sunset replied then accepts the Side Mission. A '0/2' was displayed on the screen the moment the Side Mission was accepted.
"Hello?" The player spoke.
"Ajay! I need your help to retrieve the packages scattered around Kyrat. I'm sending you the coordinates now, please hurry!" The person on the radio replied in an asian accent.
"I'm on my way." The player spoke again.
Sunset got on a motorcycle that was conveniently placed outside the small hut and quickly rode off to the first package location setted on her map.
"Is there a time limit?" Applejack asks.
"I don't think so," Sunset replied "I don't see any countdowns anywhere on the screen."
When sunset arrives at her destination she stumbles across a cave which seems to be where the package is located. Without hesitation she sprinted into the cave which causes her flashlight to switch on. She stumbles across a large open area of the cave to find two bodies, storage containers, the package and...
"A BEAR!" Rarity screamed pointing towards the territorial creature that awoke from it's sleep.
The bear stood up then roars at the player who has trespassed it's natural habitat.
"Oh crap!" Sunset panicked. Pulling out her shotgun whilst the animal got back on it's feet and began approaching the player commencing an attack.
Everyone in the room started panicking and trying to give Sunset advice who was under major stress. She manages to shoot the animal twice only to be knocked back by it's attack that left the player with half health remaining. Sunset fled from the bear and jumped on top of a large boulder to use first-aid hoping the bear wouldn't reach her. Sunset exhales and proceeded to shoot the bear.
"Don't worry, I don't think it can get up here," The bear ran around her to get on a slope bit of stone behind Sunset and proved her wrong.
"OH CRAP, YES IT CAN!" She yelled immediately jumping off the boulder and quickly turned around reloading her weapon trying to shoot the animal. Once the bear was at blank range, Sunset finished reloading just in time to shoot the animal which then collapses on the ground.
There was a "thew" shared around the room and Sunset sits back on the sofa in relief.
"Glad that's over." Sunset sighs then got up quickly to get back to the mission. She gets to the package and picks it up.
"I got the first package." The player said.
"Very good, only one more to go!" The person on the radio replied.
Sunset exits the cave, got back on her motorcycle and drove her way to the second package location.
"Ah can't believe that was only the first package!" Applejack said in disbelief.
"The next one could be two bears, or worse three bears! OR even worse four bears! OR-" Pinkie got interrupted by Rarity covering her mouth to quiet her.
"Hopefully this one won't be as bad." Sunset smiled.
When Sunset arrived at her second destination, she got off her motorcycle to find a warehouse being patrolled by guards, one of them seems to be in armor and carrying a large weapon.
"This shouldn't be too bad, I hope." Fluttershy said.
Sunset got into the nearest bushes and tread her way up close to the front entrance of the warehouse. She sees a guard who was standing on the edge of the bushes, Sunset was very tempted to assassinate the guard from behind him and so she did. Stabbing the guard through the chest, one of the other guards took notice and alerts the rest that they had an intruder.
"Nice going Rambo." Rainbow teased.
"Oh shut up you, atleast I tried!" Sunset replied angrily.
Sunset brings out her AK-47 and takes cover behind a tree. Managing to kill two guards she notices the highly armored guard was approaching towards her spraying his light-machine gun at her. Sunset was both fleeing and shooting at the guard but didn't seem to be taking any damage whatsoever.
Sunset groans "How am I supposed to kill him?!"
Everyone in the room starting to give advice to Sunset who is struggling to kill the armored guard and is running very low on ammunition.
"Use your grenades!" "Aim for his head!" "Melee his back!" "Use your shotgun!"
Sunset sighed loudly "Screw this!" she runs inside the warehouse searching for the package. Her only clue of the package exact location was the beeping noise that the package was making but finding where the beeping noise is coming from whilst under heavy fire was not making it any easier. Sunset's player was practically spinning around in search for the package. "Where is it? Where is it?"
"There it is!" Pinkie cheered pointing at the bottom shelf where the package was laying. Sunset almost immediately picks up the package before the armored guard shows up in front of her letting out a loud "EEEP!"
"I got the last package!" the player said whilst Sunset was storming out of the warehouse and onto her motorcycle.
"Excellent Ajay! Now bring them back here quickly!" the person on the radio spoke. Sunset and her friends noticed the time limit that was now displayed '1.29' on the screen at this moment.
"Oh NOW there's a time limit?" Applejack asked.
"We'll make it, don't worry." Sunset said still concentrated on the screen and trying her best not to crash "It's only over 200 meters from here."
Sunset stopped at her last destination and ran towards the metal door where her map was locating her. The sliding peephole opened to reveal an asian man on the other side of the door.
"Have you got the packages?" the man asked.
"Yes they're right here." the player responded.
"Thank you Ajay. If it weren't for you I wouldn't know what I would have done." Closing the peephole the Side Mission was completed and everyone sat back on the sofa.
"Well that was stressful." Sunset sighs.
