The Ratboy Genius is a wonderful creature who went on an epic quest to save his friend, Summer Solstice, from the mean Little King John. He traveled across a vast landscape, for he was no mere pawn! There were mountains and lakes, rivers and ponds. Forests were abundant, and the day burned on. But he would fight on, even if he was only one. It took him a long time, but he was able to survive. He rescued his friend, who had waited patiently for the Ratboy Genius to attend. They sneaked out of the king's evil castle, a feat that sure was quite a tassel. However, those events have already passed. The Ratboy Genius lives happily in his humble abode, a small piece of mass. With his great friends Summer Solstice, Happyman, and Green Monster; the Ratboy Genius's days were full of joy and laughter. As the days passed on, he sung, and he wept. He laughed, and he cried, he played and he slept. His days were grand, and he dreamed of the future with curiosity. His passion burned on with a fierce ferocity. At times, the Ratboy Genius looked to the sky and smiled. He wanted to go out and help others, to bring smiles for miles. Summer Solstice, Happyman, and Green Monsters were great friends, but sometimes he liked to dream and pretend. There is nothing wrong with going out to explore. Surely, there were new places out there that he could quest for. His home was not the entire world. On the contrary, there was much to explore. And so the Ratboy Genius set out with a grin. He would bring happiness to those he met on a whim. He would set out, explore, and find even more. Summer Solstice could care for the house, Ratboy Genius was just a mouse. If anyone was qualified to take care of such things, it would be the one that was saved by him. Without further ado, and no business anew, the Ratboy Genius strolled out the door, determined to find more! A brand new world was open to him. A great new land full of creatures he could make grin. The Ratboy Genius walked a lengthy time. He climbed up mountains, hills, and vines. On a boat, he was astounded by the beauty of the sea. If someone claimed to see a sight more beautiful, he would surely disagree. Other mice sung and danced on the ship. Some even practiced their marksmanship. Ratboy Genius helped the crew, and in turn his heart grew.The waves crashed gently against the ship's front. Once ashore, he bounced off with a grunt. The land before him was certainly new! He saw ponies that walked, danced, sang and flew. It couldn't possibly be a happier land, but Ratboy's quest had something else planned. The happiness certainly was too much, he had never seen a place with this much. "This land is plentiful, and seems free of greed. Why would I help a place without need?" "It's hard to maintain such a peaceful land. In the realm of dreams, my help is grand." A beautiful blue pony appeared at his side. She had wings and a horn, with a mark on her hide. He took back his previous remark of the sea, the sole sight of her was all he could need! A crown was bestowed upon her head, and when she appeared he was no longer full of dread. "A realm of dreams! It couldn't be more perfect. Who are you, and why is no-one here malevolent?" "My name is Princess Luna, although I used to be as you describe. I regret my past, yet my return is not popular with a single tribe. The ponies still have a great fear of me, no matter how kind I attempt to be," The Ratboy Genius was saddened by such a dark story. She truly deserved happiness, laughter, and mercy. He decided right then and there, this is how he could help! He'd rid her of her past, he stood up with a yelp. "Let me help you, to help make the ponies see; you are graceful and kind, not angrily grinding your teeth! This is a great honor that I hope you consider. It could change this land, hopefully for the better! Please let me help you, it's why I came to this land. I myself would be saddened if I couldn't a help single man," The princess grinned and flared her wings. The Ratboy Genius smiled, and was hopeful for what the future would bring. He climbed on her back and just barely sat. His height was not that of an ordinary rat. Their weights were similar, but the princess had years of experience. She could carry him easily, without making an appearance. "So what is this land so beautiful and graceful? I think I've never seen a place so saturated and colorful," "It's a great land full of unicorns and colorful pegasi. A pegasus can fly, while unicorns are great magi. Equestria is the name my sister has given this place. Surely you've heard of it, or have you learned it face to face?" "I can't believe I've yet to see a land so free! Their princess is beautiful, and the night fills me with glee," The princess of the night blushed at his remark. It's been a while since someone had complimented her and her mark. She flew past the clouds, soaring far above the crowds. The air felt crisp on their fur, as they flew across the shore. Greens, browns, and grays were below them. If the Ratboy Genius looked down, he would be quite frightened. Heights were not something of to be afraid, but the winds didn't help with how much they swayed. Instead, he looked up, staring at the stars with wonder. They were just above the clouds, where he could hear the thunder. Pegasi below flew out and about, moving the clouds without any doubt. "Wee! I'm the Ratboy Genius! Flying up here I can see Mars and Venus!" Ratboy Genius sang as he soared through the skies, chanting his name as if a lullaby. They arrived at Luna's bedchambers in very little time, landing in front of royal guards that formed in a line. The guards donned metal helmets and spears, while wearing marks way back in their rears. Once the princess was in sight, they statically spread out to the right. A quick salute later and the two were inside. Ratboy got off Luna, and had enjoyed the ride! She led him inside the dreaming chamber, where she set up pillows for each member. "Ratboy Genius, I'm glad you can help guard everyone's dreams! However there's a catch I must explain before you join our team. To help guard the dreams of innocent ponies and unicorns, you thyself must turn into a princess alicorn! I know it's inconvenient, but I've heard good tales of you. You're quite skilled in the task of making dreams come true, a job that unfortunately not many dare pursue," The Ratboy Genius looked down at his feet. He shook his arms down, and sat down on his seat. "I'll do anything to help you in this world, and if I have to be a princess it's something I'll adore!". A few weeks had passed since that wonderful night. Ratboy Genius learned to dream, help ponies, and make things right. He made wonderful friends and passed his tests, bringing order to ponies that couldn't rest. Many adventures filled up his mind, showing him creatures as dark as mankind. The fun lasted for ages, but it was time to ascend. He would swear the next day, Equestria's dreams he would defend. Nervous and sweaty, he gave in to sleep. He was wrapped in a blanket, and started counting sheep. A full day later, Princess Celestia had given him his rank. Ratboy was a new alicorn, to be frank! He sprouted wings from the back of his red shirt, with a horn and healing magic leaving him unhurt. Although it seemed strange to him, the princesses said he was a strange breed of them. Cadance a princess of love, and Ratboy was the princess of up above. Never before had a non-pony been a princess, but Ratboy Genius being one was not a strange instance.He fulfilled his duty in keeping nights safe and sound, and was the start of a generation new-found. "And that's how Ratboy Genius became a dream princess! The end!" Twilight closed her book. "I hope y- oh!" My daughter was on the bed, fast asleep. I smiled warmly and wrapped a blanket around my little filly, who had a doll of a strange rat creature in her grasp. It was given to her by an old friend of mine. I smiled and quietly trotted out the door. Before I closed the door, I stuck my head in the room. "Sweet dreams, my little pony,".
