“The party is ready to start!" Pinkie yelled, jumping up. She was wearing a blue shirt with sleeves halfway down her front legs, a large blue skirt with her cutie mark on it, and big blue boots on her forelegs. "I can't wait to throw this party!" She shouted.
"Yeah, thanks for helping us." Octavia said, setting her Chelo up next to Vinyl's Wubs. She was dressed up as a cat.
"But uh Pinkie, I thought you still like to go Trick-or-treating!" Vinyl said, as she set up some streamers. She was wearing a lab-coat, with a grey shirt under it and a red tie.
"Yeah well at first I thought I was gonna go this year, but then I decided 'nah' and then I thought wait...it's free candy...then I realized...I guess I might be a little old...only a little..." She said, crossing her front left hoof around her front right hoof.
"Oh well...okay!" Vinyl said, smiling. She then leaned in on Octavia and whispered: "It's about time..."
"Don't be rude!" Octavia replied, genitally smacking Vinyl upside the head, but she continued to giggle.
"I gotta use the bathroom!" Vinyl yelled as she ran into the back hallway of the house, near the bathroom. "Hehe...this will be awesome!" She snickered to herself as she dug through one of the bathroom cabinets "I have the best prank idea ever..." She giggled as she pulled out a bottle of a 'liquid fiber' "It will be hiding in the punch that I make...I'd love to see somepony drink THAT without getting constipated!" She exclaimed, giggling. "And a sixth Nightmare Night party that I pull a successful prank...I'm a genius!"
She then proceeded to laugh like a maniac, before having Octavia knock on the door. "What are you doing in there?"
"Uhh...nothing!" She replied, after Octavia left the quietly laughed...
The party then started and Ponies started to show up...
About an hour later:
The party was now at full swing (but it's not an intense party, more like the gala). And there where Ponies everywhere. Vinyl and Octavia where getting ready to start playing some music, and everypony was having a good time. As they continued to play their music, but then suddenly the door swung opened, smashing against the wall. The music then came to a dead halt.
"What was that?!" Octavia yelled, looking at the rest of the group and getting a shrug from them. Pinkie was standing next to the door and she used her hind leg so push it shut, and they continued to play their music. After they finished their song, the crowd started clapping their hooves. Octavia and Vinyl bowed, before coming down to have a drink.
"Well, had a great time!" Twilight exclaimed, walking up to Vinyl and Octavia. "But me Rarity and Apple Jack are gonna get going!"
"Alright, well I'm glad you enjoyed yourself!" Octavia replied, with a smile. Apple Jack Rarity and Twilight then walked out the door.
"We played pretty awesome, didn't we?" Octavia asked, pouring herself some punch.
"Yeah...we did!" Vinyl exclaimed, using her magic to stuff her face with cookies. Vinyl smiled with glee as Octavia brought the 'special punch' up to her mouth, but she then retreated as they all heard a loud bash coming from upstairs. They all looked up the the ceiling and Octavia said:
"Ugh...somepny must've snuck up there..." She complained. "Everypony, just continue to have fun while I go see what that was!" She yelled to everypony else. She then walked up the stairs and into the upstairs hallway. "Ugh,why can't we ever just tell ponies not to come up here, and have them listen?" She asked, not really expecting a reply. She then heard a creek coming from her bedroom. "Ah ha...got you now!" She complained, before opening the door and looking inside her room.
Downstairs everypony continued to have a good time, but then they heard Octavia scream upstairs. "AAAHHH!"
Everypony froze, as Vinyl bolted up the stairs, followed by Pinkie Bonbon (Who was dressed as a Bumble bee) and Lyra(Who was dressed as a human). She slammed Octavia's door open and looked inside to see: nothing.
"Octy?! OCTY?!" She yelled as she rapidly searched the room, but there was noting. "WHERE'S OCTAVIA?!" She yelled, getting in the others' face.
"Well, how should I know?" Pinkie nervously replied.
"Umm...maybe she..." Bonbon then started to think for a minute.
Then, coming from the closet they heard a raspy moan. Vinyl gave the group a nervous look, and gulped before opening the closet door. What she saw was truly horrific, it was Octavia except she was a ZOMBIE?! Yes she was, with a tattered up costume and blood stains everywhere. Viynl took several steps back, in pure horror. Then, suddenly she lunged out at Lyra, and bit her.
"OW! BONBON, HEEELP!" She screamed as Octavia latched onto her.
"OMGOMGOMGOMG!" Bonbon then ran up and tried to pull Octavia off, but Lyra then bit her, and they all started making raspy gurgling noises.
"PINKIE...WE GOTTA GO!" Vinyl yelled, running out into the hall and grabbing Pinkie who was paralyzed with fear. They then made it back into the living room where everypony was. "Guys, we've got a problem..." She exclaimed, getting everypony's attention.
"W-What's wrong?" Colgate asked, with an eyebrow raised.
"Well...I uh...don't know how to explain this, but- uhh-"
"OCTAVIA'S A ZOMBIE!!!" Pinkie screamed, cutting Viynl off.
Everypony else nervously looked at each other, before bursting into laughter.
"Yeah right...this is another one of your stupid pranks!" Noteworthy yelled.
"Ooh...zombies...I'm so scared!" Caramel exclaimed. Then the room went silent as they heard somepony staggering down the stairs, and she eventually revealed herself to be Octavia.
She let out a raspy moan.
"Look guys, I don't but it!" Colgate yelled, as she walked up to Octavia. "I don't know how you got Pinkie and Octavia to help, but this is a prank...isn't that right Octavia?" She sarcastically said, pointing at Octavia. Octavia then opened wide, and bit her hoof, causing Colgate to whimper. "Uhh...actually no, that’s a real zombie!" She exclaimed, before dropping to the ground.
Everypony else started to freak out. But the flower ponies just fainted. Nurse readheart ran towards the door and tried to open it, but it was locked. "VINYL, THE DOOR IS LOCKED COME OPEN IT!" She screamed.
"I can't!" Vinyl exclaimed jumping away from Lyra. "I gave Octavia my key and forgot to get it back!" She yelled.
Suddenly, a zombified Colgate came up and bit Nurse Redheart, turning her into a Zombie too.
Octavia, Lyra and Colgate all walked up and bit the fainted flower ponies, and Vinyl took this as an opportunity to bolt up the stairs, being followed by Pinkie, Noteworthy (who was dressed as a ninja), and Caramel (who was dressed as a banana). They ran into Vinyl's room and slammed the door shut, pushing a bookcase in front of it. "Phew..." Vinyl sighed, as she melted down on the ground in front of the bookcase.
"That was close..." Caramel stated, also sitting down in the corner.
"Wait...are we just gonna leave everypony else for dead?!" Pinkie asked.
"What choice do we have?" Vinyl replied, shrugging.
"Umm, so you're gonna just sit and watch all your friends turn into googly-eyed Zombies?!
"Well..." They didn't get to finish their conversation, before they heard a loud moan come from the closet.
Caramel was sitting right next to it and he backed away. "Uhh...I wasn't the only one who heard that...right?" He asked, pointing at the closet.
The others just looked in horror. The the door smashed opened, to reveal a zombified Bonbon, who must've never actually went downstairs. She lunged at Caramel and bit him, he screamed in agony as he got turned into a zombie. Then, he lunged at Caramel and turned him into a zombie.
Viynl and Pinkie where the only ones left...Vinyl ran towards the door and moved the bookcase as fast as she could, and opened the door only to find the rest of the Zombie's waiting behind it. They staggered in and Roseluck cornered and bit Pinkie...leaving Vinyl...
She huddled in the corner, "I'M DEAD MEAT...AREN'T I?!" She yelled to the heavens as the Zombie group enclosed on her. Octavia opened her mouth and leaned in to get a bite. She put her mouth up to Vinyl's ear, and whispered:
"Who's a genius now?" Suddenly, all the zombies jumped back.
"Wait...what?" Vinyl asked in confusion. "This was all a...prank?"
"Yup...we were all sick and tired of you pranking us every single year, so we decided to get some revenge!" Octavia replied, crossing her arms.
"Wait, so... you were all in on it?" Vinyl asked, getting a nod from everypony else. "YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!" She screamed, looking red with rage.
"Yeah?" Colgate exclaimed sarcastically. "Well you almost gave me one last year with that jumpscare!"
"Or how about that itching powder three years ago?" Roseluck asked, cocking her head and raising an eyebrow.
"Pinkie, you too?" Vinyl asked Pinkie in a pathetic voice.
"Well, yeah! I wasn't about to drink fibered punch!"
"You know what...screw you guys!" Vinyl exclaimed as she ran out into the hall and down the stairs.
"Vinyl! Learn to take a joke!" Octavia yelled into the hallway, but being ignored.
"GUYS...YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!" They heard Twilight yell as she came in.
Everypony upstairs went downstairs into the living room to see Apple Jack Rarity and Twilight gasping for air in the doorway. "Y-You won't believe...what...just..." Twilight tried to explain, but she was out of breath.
"Well, you won't believe what happened to me!" Vinyl exclaimed, looking at Octavia with crossed arms.
Then, suddenly from the kitchen they heard dishes break. And a very old and decrepit rabbit animatronic named 'Springtrap' walked from the kitchen, then made a huge-evil grin.
"W-What is that?" Octavia asked in horror.
"The prank you set up!" Vinyl replied as she trotted toward Springtrap.
"Uhh no...We didn't make that..." Octavia mumbled.
"Yeah right, I like the detail and the stupidness!"
Suddenly, it screamed in Vinyl's face and reveal a rotten pony skull inside, and Vinyl immediately realized it wasn't a prank...she then backed up as far as she could.
Springtrap gave the group a glare, before picking up the good punch bowl and pouring it's contents on the floor, and lifting it up to throw at the group. Then, out of nowhere, Derpy came in through the door.
"HI!" She exclaimed, before opening her eyes in shock and realizing what was standing before her. Springtrap then slowly turned to look towards her. Derpy then gulped right before Springtrap lunged at her.
"SCREETCH!" She jumped up over it, and used it's back as leverage. She smacked into the wall on the other side of the building.
"Oww..." she moaned.
"DERPY, WATCH OUT!" Twilight screamed as the animatronic lunged at her again.
Then, suddenly a huge Timberwolf came crashing through the ceiling, completely taking it off. A chunk of ceiling smacked Springtrap in the head, as he fell over and shut down. They heard a bunch of loud crashed from outside. "Uh, let's go see what that is!" Octavia exclaimed as they ran out the door.
What they saw was an oversized Timberwolf with a young colt on it's nose, yelling at it?
The ponies watched as the colt completely told it off. He then jumped off the back, "Um...hi guys, my name is Yonder!" he casually said to the crowd, as they all glanced at each other, then said “Hi” back. "That's my mom...she's kind of crazy...either way, I'll give her a piece of my mind once we get home and hopefully she'll help fix this...uh...broken house..." he said. "C'mon Mom...let's go!" he then climbed onto her back, and they walked into the woods.
Vinyl looked at Octavia confused...
