It was a beautiful night in Ponyville as always and a little filly was asleep with three older mares who had all adopted her watched over her as their daughter the little filly was Scootaloo and she had been adopted by three mares one, who was a Princess another a farm pony and the other a Wonderbolt and the three mares where also three holders of the elements of harmony Friendship, Loyalty and Honesty. The three mares where Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Applejack who had been her adoptive mothers for over a year now.
"Rainbow ya better not think of takin off ya gotta help out" Applejack called seeing the cyan pegasus about to shoot off at supersonic speed.
"Daw AJ it's boring just sitting around and watching though" Rainbow said getting a glare from the earth pony before turning her attention back to the little orange filly with a purple mane snuggled in her chest asleep.
"Well if you won't do it for me then do it for Twilight and Scootaloo they hate when you fly off we all agreed to this marriage and Adoption so we need you" Applejack said her element clearly showing making Rainbow Dash hoof the dirt.
"Ok Ok AJ I'll stay" Rainbow said walking over to her just as Twilight walked towards them yawning.
"What I miss ?" The Alicorn asked getting a nothing expression from both ponies as they watched her lay down with the three of them.
"It shoulda started by now right ?" Applejack asked looking over to Twilight getting a smirk.
"You know Luna she always wants to show off her night sky give her time" Twilight said softly to the farm pony as they shared a quick nuzzle.
"How's our daughter doing Rainbow ?" Twilight asked watching her snuggle into Applejack's chest more getting a smile from her and Rainbow.
"Tired I guess she was running about with me all day in Cloudsdale with the Wonderbolts by the time we got home she had passed out on my back" Rainbow said as the three mares looked into the night sky seeing the stars finally emerge.
"Well it was worth the wait I think" Twilight smiled looking back at the two mares who nodded before yawning.
"I suppose we betta head home get Scootaloo in bed and also get ourselves into bed as well girls" Applejack said getting nods from the two girls as they got up Twilight using her magic to put Scootaloo on her back as they walked back to Sweet Apple Acers.
Ever since the three of them got married the apple family including Twilight and Rainbow had built a house made just for them since no houses in Ponyville could house three adult mares and a Filly. They where quite proud of their handmade home and got inside the house as Twilight went upstairs putting Scootaloo to bed before walking to the bedroom behind Applejack and Rainbow as they prepared themselves to go to sleep as well.
It was 4:30 at night when Scootaloo woke up sweating and crying as she looked around seeing she was in her bedroom as she heard someone walking past her door as she tried to keep quite hoping is wasn't Rainbow but her nightmare had shook her up so bad a small whimper escaped her lips as she watched her bedroom door open slightly.
"Sugercube is everything okay ?" The voice said before walking over to the bed seeing Scootaloo shaking and a mess.
"Hey Applejack yeah I'm cool just had a bad dream could I maybe come sleep with you three ?" Scootaloo asked even though she would never admit it she loved sleeping with her parents.
"Sure hon come on" Applejack smiled letting her jump on her back as they walked to the bedroom a few feet down the hallway.
Applejack opened the door seeing Rainbow and Twilight snuggled together as they looked up
"Hey kiddo everything okay ?"Rainbow asked as Applejack put her on the bed watching her walk to Rainbow and snuggle into her.
"She had a nightmare ?" Twilight asked receiving a nod from Applejack who joined in the bed once more seeing Scootaloo had already fallen asleep in Rainbow Dashes embrace.
"We need to talk to her guys this is the 3rd one this week and might have to get Luna involved if it is something we can not fix" Applejack said the two of them agreeing.
"We'll ask her tomorrow morning she has no school" Twilight said before the mares put their heads down to sleep though the rest of the night.
The next morning the three mares where laid on the sofa in their living room waiting for Scootaloo to come downstairs so they could talk about her nightmares and see if they could get to the bottom of them and help their daughter stop having them. A few minutes later they heard her come downstairs.
"Morning sweetie can we talk" Twilight asked as Scootaloo walked over jumping up onto the sofa with her mothers.
"What's this about am I in trouble?" Scootaloo asked as the three of them shook their head.
"No kiddo we just wanna talk about these dreams your having and try to help you" Rainbow said as Scootaloo looked down before turning to her parents.
"There just dreams where you three end up with someone else and forget about me and I don't want to be abounded again" Scootaloo said making the three mares hug her tightly keeping her as close to her as they could to her.
"Sugarcube we would never forget you we love you all three of us" Applejack said nuzzling her mane.
"Applejacks right no matter what we will always love you and be their for you" Twilight added wrapping her wing around her daughter as Rainbow ruffled her mane.
"Their right kid we are a family now nothing will change that ever we adopted you because we all love you and want to be your mothers and give you the life you deserve" Rainbow said making Scootaloo tackle Dash and cuddle her making both Twilight and Applejack laugh.
