"Now, Fluttershy, are you ready for the spell?"

"Um...yes, I guess. I mean, I'm very nervous about this and all and what if the spell doesn't work Twilight? What'll happen to me?" Fluttershy stuttered.

"Hm...good question. I don't really know myself. I don't see why it won't work, but we'll just have to find out," Twilight replied, adding a shrug as she put on her lab coat.

"What's the lab coat for?"

"Oh, nothing! I just wear it to make me feel more like a scientist!" Twilight said, giggling. Fluttershy chuckled with her and soon the friends were laughing in the echoey lab.

"Alright, alright! Serious time! I'll count to three and cast the spell. One," Twilight started.

"Wait, what?"

"Two."

"Twilight I'm not-"

"Three!"

With that, Twilight horn sparked to life, making a bright purple light. It grew brighter and brighter, and Fluttershy even saw some bolts of energy spark around it. Fluttershy's pupils shrunk to the size of pins as she watched the magical essence grow larger a brighter by the millisecond! Twilight took aim and blasted the large magical beam at Fluttershy. She found herself encased in a purple glow. Her hooves began to morph into something completely alien to her. They grew skinny an the ends sprouted new apendages. Her hind hooves shrunk a bit in width, but grew extremely long. Her hooves became something similar to spikes feet, but longer an less pointed. Her ears shrunk into circles and her muzzle was nearly completely ear asked from her face. Her body was changing, not in a painful way, but enough to be slightly uncomfortable. Her wings and tail remained still.

"It's actually working! Fluttershy it's working!" Twilight said over the noise of her magical beam.

Fluttershy let out a soft "yay" before realizing that the magic seemed to spark around her. It was as if something bad would happen. "Um, Twilight? Is it supposed to do that?"

"Oh no...Fluttershy, I can't stop the magic!" Twilight screamed.

"Twilight!!" Fluttershy screamed as she felt her body stretch and curve in an unnatural way, as if she was being warped.

"Help!!" was the last thing Fluttershy said before being zapped away by the magic. Twilight stood frozen in place as she watched her friend get warped to another reality.

"Oh no...oh no oh no oh no!!" Twilight screamed in frustration and sadness.

Spike waddled into the lab sweating and panting, but he had great worry in his eyes.

"Twilight! What happened? Where's Fluttershy?" Spike asked.

"I-I don't know Spike. She just got sent to another reality!" Twilight said, mad at herself for letting this happen to her dear friend.
