//------------------------------// // We're all idiots with insect friends // Story: Purple Tears 2 // by Doukzor //------------------------------// "We need to devise a plan" was the first thing Celestia stated. Apple Jack- and orange earth pony, shot her a confused look, and as did every pony in the room besides Fluttershy. "You heard the news about the murder five years ago, right?". "Yeah" Rainbow Dash muttered, as she scraped a hoof along the ground. "Well... The culprit that had been caught was innocent" Celestia stated, "Actually, he was sent to jail without my consent, in truth". "And what does that have to do with us?" Rarity, an albino unicorn with a rich purple mane asked, confused. "Well... Those children are alive again. As... What looks like the animatronics from Freddy Fazbear's pizza". Rainbow Dash fell on the floor. "Hah! Nice one!" Apple Jack shot her a glare. "I'm being serious" Celestia muttered a growl. "Oh really? Prove it" Rainbow Dash got up and rolled her hoof. "I will," Celestia assured her, "When we're ready". "How would we prepare then? And why in the middle of the night?!" Rarity burst out. "It's urgent" Celestia stated. "Alright," Rainbow sighed, "Just tell me what's going on". While Celestia explained the whole situation, she was brought with murmurs of confusion and disbelief. "So," Apple Jack sighed, "Kids came back to life as those funky robots from Freddy Fazbear's pizza" she earned a nod from Celestia. "Ah'll believe when I see it" she mumbled. Everyone eventually agreed with her- how was something like that even possible?! "Look," Fluttershy stammered, "Celestia's t-telling the truth. I saw th-them". "Uh huh" Rainbow muttered. Finally, Celestia let out a long sigh before speaking again. "I'll show you if I have to" she had a face full of determination. "Well, if you say so" Pinkie Pie giggled. "When will you show us?" Rarity asked. "Tomorrow at dawn. Then we must get Twilight Sparkle devise a plan" Celestia explained. "Okay," Pinkie Pie replied, "uh, a plan to do what?". "I'm actually not quite sure yet" Celestia sighed. "Chica's at the left door!" Badge Gleam exclaimed, flailing his arms about. Foxy just sighed, as he pushed the door button- causing a metal wall to close in the yellow pony's face. "If ye act like that every night, you'll die before long" he muttered to himself. "Foxy's got a point there. How are you even still alive?" Freddy tilted his head to one side. "Well... When there aren't living versions of killer animatronics standing behind me, it tends to be easier" Badge mumbled. "By the way, where's that puppet pony at anyways?" he asked, as he checked the cameras. "I haven't seen him on any of the cameras," Vincent pitched in, "Want me to check?". "I don't know, lad, "Foxy replied, "I may not have seen our lifeless forms react ta us, but that doesn't mean you're safe". "Well... I was stuck as one for a while. Doesn't that classify me as an undead animtronic to them? Considering I AM also a ghost and all". "You were stabbed before" Freddy muttered. "Look, guys," Springy spoke up, his form tiny compared to the others, "What the heck are you talking about?". "Right...", "Goldy face-hoofed, "There was that incident. It wasn't just me and my brother who were killed," he glanced around the others, seeing their shifting hooves immediately. "Perhaps we should speak of it later" Goldy offered, deciding not to go into detail about the killer's death. "You keep acting like I'm a child, "Springy huffed, "But fine. Since surviving is a bigger concern". "As we were saying," Vincent continued, casting a glare at Springy, "I'm gonna go see if puppet brain's still in this dump". Before any pony could answer, he trotted out the left door. "If you need an excuse, guard poor Badge Gleam" he quickly added over his shoulder as he disappeared. Springy sighed. "So, he hates me, I take it?". "eh... Yeah" Freddy glanced around. Twilight looked over the camera. "Well, it seems Bonnie isn't affected by... Er, Bonnie" she attempted to calm the subject. "where is that dumb puppet?!" String Play growled as he shoved yet another box across the room. He'd succeeded in finding nothing that even simply suggested the previous pizzeria, not even a poster or trademark. Bonnie stood at the doorway of the party room, carefully watching String's every movement. He was covered by the shadows that deepened behind the door frame, the light barely hitting his mane. So far, String Play had been kicking around the boxes in the parts room, looking for some sign of the puppet. But to no avail- even a simple gesture that any of the toy animatronics existed was un-evident. "C'mon..." String Play kicked another box, labeled trash. It slammed into another box, hitting the wall before falling into a heap of empty Freddy heads. A small clang echoed off of the room afterwards. A small brown mask rolled on it's side, until hitting String Play's hoof. The mask fell, a rythm of small clanks against the dry bloody tile. String Play glared down at it as it finally stopped. That frown slowly became a large grin, stretching over his face like a mad mare.
