I was told my one of my bestest friends, Neon Screen, earlier today, that a new pony will be in town very soon!! I'm so excited, it's kind of hard to be keeping these exact thoughts in my head!!!
"Remember Pinkie, Allan is an old flying friend of mine before I moved to Ponyville. He hates social gatherings, so if you throw a party, please don't invite the entire town..." My cherry colored friend told me.
"Nah, don't worry! I'll keep the party between you, me, Twilight, AJ, Dashie, Rarity, and Fluttershy!" I said, very excitedly.
"Okay, good. Also, remember not to get on his bad side... He gets angered quickly..."
"Don't worry, Neo! It'll be all fine."
I raced off to Sugarcube Corner to get what I needed: streamers, balloons, confetti, party hats, perfect!
When I went into my room, I found none of the stuff I need.
What the cherry pickle sandwich? Where is everything? I checked the closet, under my bed, absolutely everywhere! Even Gummy didn't know where anything was. Strange... How did all my stuff disapp-
My thoughts were interrupted by some shouting from downstairs. I ran out to see what was going on. I kept out of sight, but I managed to hear the conversation that was going on.
"B-but I never came here once today!" One voice said. That voice sounded like-that voice sounded like Neo's.
"You're lying! We saw you come here an hour earlier, and you completely trashed our store!" A voice sounding like Mister Cake's said.
"That wasn't me! I swear! An hour earlier, I was eating my breakfast!" Wow, Neo eats breakfast really late.
"Likely story! Ponies can't eat breakfast that late!" A voice sounding like Missus Cake's said.
"But this pony does! You gotta believe me, I swear I'm not lying! Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my-"
"Pinkie promises can't help you now, Neo." The Mister Cake voice said.
"Don't bother trying to buy from us again." The Missus Cake voice said.
It was silent, a little too long for my liking.
"Fine. Then I won't come back, just because somepony that looked like me trashed this place." And then I heard hoofsteps, which meant she was leaving.
I walked down, and tried to seem like I hadn't heard what had just happened. I was about to leave the shop until Mister Cake stopped me.
"I don't know why you're friends with that vandal pegasus, Pinkie. And you're leaving without saying goodbye? That's not like you at all."
"'Vandal pegasus'? What are you talking about?" But I knew exactly what and who he where talking about.
"That gaming pony. Y'know, Neon something. She vandalized the shop."
"What!?" I said, trying to sound surprised, "Neo would never do such a thing!"
"Well, she would, considering what she did."
"Well.. Uhm..." I wanted to change the topic, or at least try to get it so I could leave. "I'm gonna go out. I'll see you two later!" I tried to sound as cheerful as I could. But deep down, there was a pit of... Unhappiness. I walked out of the shop and thought about what I had just heard. Neo vandalizing this place? That must be impossible! She did Pinkie promise that she wasn't lying... And Neo would never do anything like that, she's to kind, smart, and cute to do that!
I kept on walking along, not bouncing like I usually would, until I stumbled upon another argument. I ran behind a building and peeked upon the conversation. I saw a stallion with a blue mane, he must be Allan Berry, the new pony in town, and the pony he was talking to was... Neo. I listened to what was going on.
"I promise that that wasn't me!" Neo said.
"Oh really? Then this pony looks exactly like you, and talks exactly like you? I doubt that you have a twin sister, you never had any siblings." The new pony said.
"Yeah, that is true..."
"So you mean to tell me that there is somepony going around, making you look bad?"
"Yes! She attacked earlier today, at Sugarcube Corner! She vandalized the place, and now the couple owning the bakery won't ever let me go in it ever again!"
"Likely story. Neo, it's impossible that there could be an exact copy of you, going around. This is obviously you. So, after what you said about me, my family, my ancestors, and my childhood, consider our friendship over."
Wow... This was bad. Is it bad that I'm eavesdropping on private conversations? Eh, I don't know. But Neo just lost one of her childhood friends because of some meanie pony that was copying her identity!
I saw Allan Meanie walk away, and Neo was left sitting there, looking kinda confused as to what just happened. I then saw her mouth start to quiver, and I heard sniffling sounds coming from her. Tears started rolling down her cheeks. Seeing this broke my heart a little.
Neo ran back to her home, at least that was the direction she was heading in, with her head low, with the taps still flowing.
I ran after her, but she got to her home before me. She left the door unlocked, thank goodness, so I walked inside. I heard her sniffling from upstairs. I slowly made my upstairs, until I was stopped by her pet. Deleted is strange pet, Neo said she won her at a gaming competition. Deleted can talk, and she doesn't breathe. Deleted is a mix between rabbit and dog. She had the head of a rabbit, but the body of a dog.
Deleted just stood there, as if she was guarding Neo.
"Uhm, Deleted, can I please see Neo? I wanna check on her, and make sure she's okay, okay?" I said, kind of shakily.
Deleted stood her ground, though. Cherry pickle sandwich! Now what? "Look, I'll let you in after I talk with her, I'll leave the door open so you can go in. But until then you should look after the house, okey dokey?" I tried again. This time, the strange breed did a strange salute, and ran past me to the front of the house.
I walked up to the door, and opened it quietly.
"Uhm, Neo?"
"Leave me alone..."
That didn't sound good. Usually when Neo wants to be left alone, she means it. But her good ol' auntie Pinkie Pie won't let that happen this time!
"It's me, Pinkie.." I said, as I walked into the dark room. Neo's hair was strange, because the stripe along her mane and tail glowed in the dark. The better she was feeling, the brighter. I guess that's why she's called 'Neon'. Thanks to the slight glow her hair emitted, my eyes grew accustom to the dark quicker than normal. Neo was on her bed, and had her face stuffed into a pillow. This was kinda heartbreaking for me...
I walked over to the bed and hopped on, next to the gaming pony. I hugged her, and, she hugged me back. I could feel a blush on my face, but it disappeared when Neo put her head over my shoulder, and I could feel her tears pouring down my coat.
"Hey, Neo, what's wrong?"
"I don't wanna talk about it...and you wouldn't understand, anyway..."
"C'mon, you can tell me anything! And I'll keep it a secret if you really want me to! And I'm sure that I'll understand." I said, as I did the Pinkie promise motions.
"Okay, if you want to know that badly.. Somepony has been framing me, Pinkie... I've even lost Allan to her..." Neo said, followed by more sniffles.
"After hearing our friendship was terminated, I ran back here..."
"I can understand why you'd feel this way. Losing a friend that you had since foalhood? That doesn't sound like fun at all. It's like me losing you!"
"It's not like that, Pinkie... I was really heartbroken because... Well, because..." She then whispered something that I couldn't hear. Was Neo turning into Fluttershy?
"What? I didn't hear what you said..."
"I said, I was heartbroken because I've had feelings for him since foalhood. Ever since the first time he saved me from the bully pegasi, I've liked him more than a friend..." After she said that, she buried her face in my chest.
Oh, cherry pickle sandwich! A blush appeared, and just like last time, disappeared with the tears dampening my coat. All I could do to try to comfort her was stroke her mane.
Honestly, I'm a little bit jealous. Neo having a crush on Berry, and all. But who would love a fillyfooler like me? Whatever... I might never be able to confess to Neo my feelings towards her, but I knew that I couldn't do that now.
Neo just kept sobbing into my chest after that, and I kept trying to comfort her.
"Neo, I'll find out who framed you."
Neo sniffed before saying, "really?"
"Yeah. Anything for a friend like you!"
Neo then hugged me tightly, and I couldn't help but return the hug.
"Thank you so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It really means a lot to me."
"It's my pleasure!"
As bad as it sounds, I couldn't just sit here and hug Neo forever. I pulled out of the hug, and got to my hooves. I walked to the door, leaving it open slightly so that Deleted could get through. Pinkie has never broken a promise!
As I neared the door, I could hear Deleted running upstairs.
I walked out, and I instantly ran to the library. Twilight helped solve the mystery the day the Cakes entered a dessert into a competition and half of it was eaten the next day, so surely she will be able to solve this mystery!
When I made it to the library, I opened the door and walked inside.
"TWILIGHT I NEED YOUR HELP WITH SOMETHING!!!"
I heard the sound of somepony hitting something, followed by a few mumbled words. I then saw Twilight walk down the stairs, kinda in a daze. I'm guessing that she hit her head on something.
"What do you need, Pinkie?"
"Well, some kind of meanie pony has been framing Neo all day first by vandalizing Sugarcube Corner then by doing something to the new pony in town and now she needs me to find out who was responsible for all of these things," I took a deep breath before continuing, that massive tangent of words took my breath away. "Will you help?"
"What? Help solve a mystery?"
"Yeah! Some meanie pony has been framing Neo all day, and I need your help to find out who!"
"I'm sorry, Pinkie, but I really need to find a certain book that disappeared recently. Sorry, but this is more important that playing Detective."
I felt slightly hurt. "But she really needs me to do this, c'mon, Twi! You're the only pony I know that has good detective skills!"
"Sorry, Pinkie, but you're on you're own. I really don't have time to play your games."
I turned around and sadly walked out of the library. Wait, this is no time to be Saddie Pie! Maybe I could get my other friends to help! I ran to Sweet Apple Acres. I found the mare I was looking for.
She was bucking apples, as usual.
"Hey, AJ! I need your help!"
"Sorry, sugarcube, but ah'm quite busy right naw."
"What!? You too!?"
"Yup. Somepony stole most o' the apples ah bucked yesterday. Now ah need ta make up for that AND buck the apples ah needed to buck today."
"Oh, okay."
I then ran all the way to the opposite end of town, and ran up to Fluttershy's cottage. She was feeding her animals.
"Fluttershy, I need your help!"
A signature 'eep!' was heard from the shy pegasus, before she turned to me.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Pinkie, but I'm really busy. You see, some little bunnies were born a few days ago, so I'm really busy taking care of them."
"Seriously!? YOU TOO!? UGH! It's like none of you care about this!"
I ran to Carousel Boutique, but then I remembered that Rarity was off in Canterlot, doing an order for a big client of hers. Cherry pickle sandwich! Hopefully Dashie will be able to help.
No such luck. When I went to Dashie's house, there was a sign on her mailbox which said 'Gone Camping, Check Back in a Few Days.'
Dangit! I guess I'm on my own, like Twi said. I had no idea where to start.
'Look for clues, look for clues...'
Ah! Look for clues at Sugarcube Corner!
I ran there as fast as I could. The Cakes were out, so they put a 'Closed' sign on the door. I just strode right in. I started inspecting every single corner of the shop, until I saw something out of the corner of my eye.
I ran to the window, and looked at the roof on the next building. A changeling? What was one of those doing here? Wasn't it's kind banished to the far reaches of Equestria? What could this mean?
Then it transformed. Into Neo... It all started to make sense! The changeling was framing Neo and distracting our friends so that they wouldn't be able to use the Elements of Harmony to banish the changelings again! That might be a crazy assumption, but hey, it could be true!
I ran upstairs, went onto my balcony, and just about managed to jump onto the building the changeling was on. It looked at me with a surprised look on its face, and then it jumped to the next building.
I followed, it jumped again, I followed! It was making me do hardcore parkour!
Jump, jump, jump, follow, follow, follow!
I guess it forgot it had wings. Nah, scratch that. It took off. It's heading for Neo's house!!!
When it took off, I did try to grab onto its tail before it got too far. I did for a second, but I lost my grip, and I fell. Ouuuuch!!! That kinda hurt.
I saw the changeling Neo burst through the window of the actual Neo's house, this window... This window was the window for her bedroom.
I ran as fast as I could to Neo's house, I burst through the front door and ran upstairs. I burst through the door to Neo's bedroom, and I saw the changeling standing at the window, with a smile.
The bad kind of smile.
I then noticed Neo on the floor. It didn't look like she was breathing... OH BERRY PICKLE SANDWICH!!! What do I do now?
The changeling spoke to me. It said, "you shouldn't have tried to stop us. We will invade Ponyville, Canterlot, then the rest of Equestria, and we shall feed off its love."
It flew out of the window after that. Deleted ran out from under the bed, and started doing wacko motions with her legs.
I guess she forgot that she could speak. Nope. Wrong again, Pinkie Pie...
"Quick!! Do CPR!!!!" Deleted said.
"CPR? Can't you do it?"
"No, because I can't breathe!!!" Oh, right. Deleted doesn't breathe. I guess I have to do it...
I walked up to Neo, and leaned over her. I gulped.
'Here goes nothing...' I thought.
I opened Neo's mouth slightly, then pressed my mouth to hers.
I could feel my entire face heat up as I performed the CPR. I never thought that I would ever do this. Neo... Tastes amazing. Even better than what the Cakes bake, and that's saying something! My eyes were still open, and I didn't dare close them.
Neo's wings burst out. I pulled away from her, my face probably the same color as her coat. Her eyes shot wide open.
She was breathing heavily, and was in a bit of a daze.
I was so relieved to see that she was okay.
When she steadied her breathing a bit, she managed to speak.
"W... What happened?"
Deleted told her before I even opened my mouth.
"A changeling that looked like you burst through the window and hit you so hard, you were knocked out, and you stopped breathing. It's as simple as that."
"A... Changeling? I'm guessing that it was the one who was framing me... But... Who saved me?"
"I did...." Wow... My voice was barely audible. What's wrong
with me? My face was still hot... I guess I'm just completely flustered.
"Pinkie? You saved me?"
"Yeah, I had to use CPR..."
Neo then launched herself at me, and I found myself in a tight hug. I just had to return the hug. My face was probably redder than ever. Deleted stood there, with a proud look on her face. I'm guessing that she was thinking, 'I'm so glad that I suggested CPR. And if it weren't for my inability to breathe, Pinkie wouldn't have gotten her "first kiss"'. Okay, so maybe that wasn't exactly a kiss, but I can dream, can't I? And I had told Deleted about my little crush on Neo when I had to take care of her while Neo was at a gathering for all the best gamers.
Neo pulled out of the hug.
"Pinkie, thank you so much."
"I-it was nothing, R-really..."
"You saved my life. That's really something..."
I think she's flattered. Yes! She is! Though it's quite hard to tell, when she blushes you can barely see it because of her coat color.
"What else could I do? I couldn't have just left you there. It was the least I could do."
She hugged me again. I returned it, again.
"Pinkie, there's just one thing..."
"What?"
"You need to get rid of that changeling. Or, all of the changelings that are here. You need to find Twilight and the others, use the Elements, and-"
"I don't think I'll be able to convince them to help. They're all busy, and they think that I'm playing a game..."
"What?"
"They don't believe me. It's like that time when Ponyville had a Parasprite infestation, and I was really doing what was right, but they wouldn't help."
"Hmmm.... Then, we will just have to MAKE them believe."
"How?"
"We need to find that changeling. You need to distract it, so I can 'capture' it."
"Okie dokie lokie! Let's do this!"
We both ran out, and we both ran to the centre of town.
Neo hid in a tree growing nearby, and I was left alone.
"Hey, changeling! D'you think what you did could've stopped me? Come out here and fight like a pony!"
Neo walked out from behind a building. This wasn't Neo, but a changeling. I knew that.
The changeling then turned into Twilight and ran towards the tree Neo was hiding in. What was that thing up to!?
A magical glow surrounded it's horn. After a few seconds, something shot out of it, then the tree-and Neo-was black. The tree no longer had leaves, and Neo fell off of it. The changeling starting backing Neo up against the wall, and a ball of energy surrounded the changeling's horn.
I ran in front of Neo, standing on my hind legs, with my forelegs outstretched. I closed my eyes, and braced myself for pain. When none came, I opened my eyes to see the changeling Twilight standing there in shock.
It's face turned back into an evil smile, ran up to me, pushed me out of the way, then fired the energy at Neo. The changeling fled quickly, and I quickly scrambled to Neo. She was no longer covered in black stuff, but she was wounded all over. I quickly pulled her onto my back and ran to the hospital.
Things, just, aren't going my way today! First, I couldn't find my party gear. Then, Neo had been rejected by a bunch of ponies! THEN, I was rejected by my friends! AND THEN, the changeling badly hurt Neo! AND NOW, I run to the hospital, only to see that they're closed!
I knew that there was only one other place I could go. I turned around, and ran as fast as I could to the library. As I was about to open the door, I heard ponies talking inside.
"Guys, I think that we should do something about Pinkie. She's been acting stranger every time I see her!"
"Ah agree with ya, sugarcube. Every day this past week, she's been needin' mah help with some crazy matter."
"Uhm, when she visited me earlier, I said that some cute bunnies were born, and that I was busy, then she shouted at me..."
"I think it's time that we told her what we think about her. After all, it's for the best."
I opened the door and walked in. Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy turned their heads and looked at me.
"Oh, Uhm, hello, Pinkie..." Fluttershy said, very quietly.
"Howdy, sugarcube. What do ya need?" Applejack said.
"Hello Pinkie. Had fun with your game?" Twilight said.
I couldn't believe what I had heard. They don't understand how important this is to me...
"Why? Just... Why? Why didn't any of you bother trying to help with my VERY SERIOUS matter?"
"Playing Detective isn't that serious, Pinkie."
I ignored Twilight.
"If you had helped, Neo wouldn't be in the state she is right now." I walked up to them, and pulled Neo off my back, and laid her gently on the floor.
I heard a gasp from all three of them.
"H... How did this happen?" Said a very worried Fluttershy.
"A Changeling. It attacked Neo, I tried to protect her, but it didn't work..."
"My, that's very kind of you to do, Pinkie. But why would a changeling be here?" Said Twilight.
"It said to me, 'we will invade Ponyville, Canterlot and then the rest of Equestria, and we shall feed off its love.'"
"Wait, it spoke to you?" Twi asked.
"Yeah. When it did, Neo was knocked out, and I had to do CPR and-"
"Wait, so ya mean ta tell us that a changeling knocked out Neo, 'n ya had ta perform CPR?" Applejack asked.
I felt my face heat up at the memory. That moment would've been perfect if the circumstances were different; if she was awake, and I had just confessed my love to her. Our eyes would meet, and she would say that she loves me too. Our faces would draw closer, as if we were magnets. Slowly we'd draw nearer, and I would feel her warm breath on my face. Our eyes would close, and our lips would-
"Pinkie. Pinkie, are you there? Your face has completely turned red... It's almost as if..." Twilight gasped. "...you're in love with her."
I lowered my head and scraped my hoof on the floor. I didn't know what to say.
"It's true, isn't it? You like Neo?" Twilight said.
I hesitated, but eventually I slowly nodded my head. I heard Twilight chuckle.
"That's not very surprising. When you and Neo are with us, when she hugs you, your face becomes the color of her coat. And you've been daydreaming a lot, and when you do, your face always turns redder than a cherry."
"Okay, so, that is true, but she's too far out of my league... Who would love a fillyfooler like me?"
"'Too Far out of your league'? Pinkie, you and Neo seem like a perfect match. You both act alike, you both seem to be interested in the same things, I say that you should confess your feelings to her."
"But... Those three words are just... Too hard to say."
"Maybe you don't have to say them, maybe you can find another way to tell her."
"Uhm, if we can stop with the fuzzy talk, we can focus on the matter at hoof." Applejack said.
"Right. How are we supposed to get rid of the changelings, though?" I said.
"I don't know. Hopefully the Elements of Harmony can work with two Elements absent..." Twi said.
Twilight then took out the Elements. I got mine, the rest got theirs.
"But, wait... What about Neo?"
Twi pressed her head against Neo's chest. She lifted it back up, and she didn't look worried, at all. That means she's gonna be okay, right? I don't want to lose her...
"Don't worry, she'll live. She's just unconscious."
I breathed a sigh of relief. I got my game face on. "Alright, let's do this."
I quickly put Neo on the couch, and I put a blanket over her. Gotta make sure she's comfy before I leave! We all left, and waited in the centre of town.
"So, Uhm, how are we going to get the changelings to, Uhm, come out?" Fluttershy asked.
"Good question. But ah don't know..."
I was about to open my mouth to suggest something, until I heard a faint buzzing. It was getting louder. I looked to the Everfree Forest. Oh no... Just above it, a swarm of changelings.
"Uhm, guys, I don't think we need anything to get them out..." I said, and pointed to the oncoming swarm.
They gasped. I felt like I was glued to the spot, and like all I could do was watch...
When the changelings got here, they landed all around us, and stared at us. We all stepped back, so that we were all huddled. They then all changed into us, and we were soon surrounded by Fluttershys, Twilights, Applejacks and Pinkie Pies! I saw my element glow, as well as the others. We started to float.
Were the Elements actually working with two missing? That can't be right. Our Elements were about to connect, but then, something seemed to explode, right in front of our faces. We all fell back onto the ground, hard. Owwww... Falling on the ground can really hurt sometimes.
Had the Elements backfired? Is that the reason why something exploded? I was in too much pain to understand why. I was lifted off the ground, most probably by changelings. Something hit my head. Hard. Everything went fuzzy. I blacked out.
I woke up, with ropes around my legs. I looked around, to see where I was. It looks like Applejack's barn... Wait, it IS Applejack's barn!
Berry pickle sandwich! Why would they take us here? I felt movement beside me. I looked, and saw Rarity there. Why was she here? Shouldn't she be in Canterlot? I looked to my other side. Dashie was there. Maybe she came back from camping early? There's no other explanation I can come up with to explain why she's here. Fluttershy, Twilight, and Applejack are also here, right in front of us.
I saw Queen Chrysalis walking to us. She spoke.
"Well, you're all awake now, I see... Come to enjoy the show?"
"Uhm, no, I just want to go home, and, Uhm.... Hide in the closet." Fluttershy said.
"Well, if you did that, you'd miss the main event! And, I needed an audience for the event, so I brought somepony who can help." She lifted somepony into the air using magic. I couldn't quite see who it was, because Twilight was blocking him or her. When I managed to figure out who it was, I let out a gasp.
'Neo...' I thought. How did they manage to get her? What was the Queen planning to do to us, or to Neo?
Neo was still unconscious. The Queen put her down on a chair, and tied her down, still using magic. I just noticed that my Element isn't around my neck! Where is it, where is it!? I was looking around like crazy to see if anypony had the my Element. I then saw a changeling holding all of the Elements... So, I guess, now, we won't be able to save Equestria unless we get them.
"Now, your friend here must awaken." Chrysalis said as a small amount of energy gathered around her horn. When it grew a little bigger, she shot it at Neo. She was covered in some kind of green aura for a second before bursting awake.
"By the name of Celestia! Where the heck am I!?" Neo shouted. She looked around, and then breathed a sigh of relief.
"Oh, it's just AJ's barn..." Then she looked down, and saw that she was tied down. Chrysalis taped Neo's mouth shut before Neo could scream something again.
"Chrysalis, I believe you're forgetting something about a couple of us prisoners." Rarity said, as her horn started to glow, and an aura surrounded her rope.
"Some of us are earth ponies..." Twilight said.
"Some of us are pegasi..." Rarity continued.
"And some of us are unicorns!" Twilight said, as her ropes broke because of her magic. Rarity's ropes broke too. They both started untying us, with hooves and magic to make it faster. We were all out in under a minute, and we all got into battle stances, including me, which was my 'sooooo, watch out!' Pose from my 'evil enchantress' song, back when we weren't so sure about Zecora.
The changelings didn't even bother changing. They just attacked us In their normal form, which made fighting them easy.
"Don't let them get the Elements!!!" Chrysalis shouted, and the changeling that had our Elements took off and started heading for the exit.
"Oh, no you don't!!" Dashie shouted, and she took off and zoomed towards the changeling. But the changeling threw the Elements to another changeling. Dashie tried to get that changeling, but it threw the Elements back to the original. They kept on doing this, and I could see that she was getting angry.
I could see that the changelings were running out of numbers. Yes! We were winning! If only Dashie could get the Elements, then we could get rid of the changelings again!
When no changelings attacked us, Dashie managed to get the Elements. All the changelings in the barn were defeated, but we still had to get Chrysalis. Dashie threw us our Elements, and we put them on.
"No.. How were you able to defeat them so fast?" The Queen asked.
"We used the magic of friendship. And we shall use it on you, and banish you from Equestria forever!"
Our Elements started glowing, and we started to float. Our Elements were connecting, and we were about to get rid of the changelings. Then, suddenly, a giant ball of green energy hit us out of nowhere!!!
We were all thrown back into the wall, and then we fell onto the ground. Owwwwwwwwwww, that really, really, really, really, really hurt. I'm in so much pain that I couldn't even move. All I could do was keep my eyes open... And watch.
Chrysalis started charging some sort of energy in her horn. I noticed that Neo was wriggling like crazy in that chair.
"Now, to rid you from Equestria!!!" Chrysalis screamed.
Neo managed to break the ropes, and she ripped off the piece of tape on her mouth. She ran towards us.
"No!!!" She screamed. She jumped right in front of Chrysalis's horn, just as she let the energy go. Neo was hit by the energy. Neo was thrown back, and she landed right in front of me. I managed to get onto my hooves, and I walked to Neo. A puddle of blood surrounded her...
I felt like crying. Neo was going to die, without me telling her how I feel about her. I urged the others to get up, but they wouldn't. I walked over to Neo again, and hugged her. I started sobbing.
"I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you..."
Chrysalis was recovering from her spell. She managed to get to her hooves. She saw what I was doing.
"My! What a beauteous act. But, your special moment is about to end."
She started walking up to us. I just held Neo closer, and kept sobbing. When the Queen was almost upon us, Neo and I started glowing a bright light. I saw the Queen and my friends shielding their eyes, the glow was so bright. My tears dried up as Neo and I was lifted off the ground. Some kind of energy came out of my chest, where my heart was, and connected to Neo's chest, probably where her heart is.
When our hearts connected, some kind of energy was shot at the Queen.
"No! No! This isn't possible!!" The Queen shouted.
There was a blinding light that seemed to cover the entirety of Equestria. So bright that it rivaled Celestia's sun.
After a few seconds, the light disappeared, and Neo and I was lowered to the ground. I saw that Neo was no longer bleeding, and her wounds were gone. Was she okay? I knew that she was when her eyes fluttered open.
A soft smile appeared on her face.
"Hey, Pinkie."
I couldn't believe it. My smile was bigger than ever. I hugged Neo tightly, and I cried tears of joy.
"N-Neo! You're okay!"
I pulled away from Neo.
"I knew I would be. Pinkie, there's something I've been meaning to tell you, ever since you had to use CPR.... I.. I think I..."
I decided to be assertive. I put my hoof to Neo's mouth, and shifted slightly closer to her. I closed my eyes, then I replaced my hoof with my lips. I heard the sound of wings bursting open, and Neo returned the kiss.
I never thought that this would actually happen. The world fell away. Right now, in this moment, the only things that existed was Neo and I. The kiss only lasted a few seconds, but to me, it felt like an eternity.
I pulled away from her, and smiled at her.
"I love you, Neo."
"I love you too."
"But, wait, what about that Berry guy?"
"He only saved me from being bullied. But you saved my life."
"My, you two sure do make a good couple." Applejack said.
"Absolutely perfect together." Twilight said.
"Adorable, I say, adorable!" Rarity said.
"I guess you two do look kinda cute together." Dashie said.
"I'm so happy for you two." Fluttershy said.
"Thank you so much. It means so much to know that you're okay with us being together." Neo said.
"At least we don't have to go through the trouble of telling this to you all." I said.
We all chuckled at what I said.

So, after that, Neo and I became a couple.
I was told by Rarity that many stallions hearts were broken, a lot of them wanted to be with me or Neo.
But, we're happy together. And that's what counts.
Even Allan Berry is okay with it. He explained to Neo and I that that settling down didn't sound that nice to him, so he was actually traveling around all of Equestria, NOT moving into Ponyville.
"Another day, another city." As he said.
Neo recently moved out of her house, which was actually an abandoned building that was falling apart, into a house closer to Sugarcube Corner. Everything is going fine.
On that day that I confessed my love to Neo, I wrote a letter to Princess Celestia. This is how it went:
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that friendship isn't the only type of magic. Sure, there is the other magic used by unicorns and stuff, but I found a type of magic that's much more special.
It's called love.
With it, you can vanquish your demons, and destroy all dangers. I only know this now because I found my special somepony. The others will get theirs sometime or another, but I'm the first in the group to have somepony to look up to.
