Zap sat gloomily in the office, he was sitting in front of Spike’s desk, who was sitting back with his clawed feet on the desk reading the first Power Ponies, he was catching up until the next comes out. Zap was sitting on a plastic chair, next to Cheese Butter who was happily eating the gooey substance. Cheese turned around holding a large cheese blob in his hooves.
“Look, it’s Cheesalot Castle!” He started laughing at his joke, hoping to cheer Zap up, but he just looked down, so Cheese just swallowed the blob whole. The office door opened, and Orange ball walked out, his expression looked like a deer caught in headlights.
“My mom is gonna squash me like a parasprite.” He said as he walked past them stiff as a board. Twilight stood in the doorway, she looked as angry as she ever was. She couldn’t get any of the boys’ parents since each had work, so she scolded them and promised to visit them later that day.
“Cheese Apple Butter.” She called out. Cheese’s face turned to one of worry, even though it was hard to tell with the dark glasses. He handed Zap his canned cheese and whispered,
“Guard this with your life” Zap watched as Cheese walked into the office and behind him, Twilight slammed the door. Zap just placed the cheese on the chair next to him and looked down again.
Outside Lily and Sweetie were heading towards the office, hoping to reason with the Princess. Lily decided to come along, hoping a word from a student could help change her mind. They walked in, and Lily noticed Zap sitting in the chair all alone, and she could feel herself blushing. Sweetie noticed this and nudged her to go towards him. She quietly moved the cheese to another seat, and sat down next to him, as she silently looked around. She tapped him lightly on the shoulder, and he jumped to the ceiling in surprise with a yell.
“Oh I’m sorry!” She said quietly, looking up.
“I didn’t mean to startle you!” Zap looked down at her, and his eyes widened, as he slowly flew back down.
"It's uh...alright." He told her blushing. They stood across from each other awkwardly, until Lily cleared her throat.
"So um..I liked your dance."
"Yeah...yeah?" He perked up, realizing what she had said.
"It was from the newest episode of Alenas High, in fact he's singing it has his concert soon!" He told her excitedly.
"Oh yeah, Sweetie's playing it live at her sister's place!" She told her, feeling anxious.
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah..." The awkward silence came back, while Zap felt his heart beating fast, he breathed in and finally decided it was the time.
"Hey um...I was wondering if you would like to go to the party with me..." He rubbed his neck, while Lily's smile brightened.
"I'd love to!"
"You...you would?" He felt like he could soar out of the office any moment.
"Yeah..." Lily was blushing madly.
"Well I'll pick you up then, and we can walk together."
"Alright!" Sweetie slyly walked up to the couple.
"Come on Lily, we don't want to spoil the bonding for the party now do we?"
"Alright...um here Zap." She handed him a piece of paper with her number and address.
"Here it is in case you need it." She slowly backed up to follow Sweetie, but she backed up into a wall, and blushed but ran through the door after Sweetie, who slyly watched them. Zap waved slowly and flew into the air excitedly.
"She said yes!" He started dancing.
"Everything is perfect!" He started humming as he Spike's claw and danced with him, whose face was just as confused as Twilight and Cheese's as they walked out the office. Spike ended up laughing along with Zap and Cheese who didn't seem to notice Twilight's sour expression.
"Spike! Get the Chaos family on the phone right away!" Spike jumped past.
"Right away Twi!" He didn't notice as he accidentally jumped onto the desk, almost breaking it. Twilight just rolled her eyes as she went into the office.

Near Fluttershy’s cottage was a giant factory, but it was colorful and didn’t puff out smoke but mist that tasted like baked potatoes. It was Discord’s Chaos Factory, which he was inside watching the machines making his chaotic products. He had created his own company of chaotic foods and items in case ponies wanted fun in their lives. It was Fluttershy’s idea to start with, and now it was his opportunity to spread chaos, but in a different way. He wore a construction helmet, in case something exploded which happened quite often here, along with the room of falling bricks, anvils, and pianos which were used for when other cartoons needed that popular gag. A door opened and he saw large billows of smoke coming from a room, while a pegasus pony came out coughing madly. Discord ran up to them.
“Rainbow Crash, what happened?” He asked her, as she took off safety goggles from her eyes.
“That stupid machine starting spewing fire at me, literally!” Discord ran in as he saw a machine in the middle of the room, but it seemed to have gotten a mind of its own as it was in the shape of a large dragon. It turned its metal head towards him as it glared at him with Emergency Light eyes. He roared at him loudly, burping out a large fireball towards him from its furnace stomach. Discord quickly armor onto his body with a shield that he used to block the fire. He started flying towards the metal beast, carrying a simple sword with a black handle. The dragon whipped at him with its tail, but Discord flew underneath it, and hopped onto the dragon’s back.
“Yee-haw!” He yelled out, wearing cowboy attire. The dragon attempted to buck him off, but it failed to do so, so instead it grabbed Discord with its tail and threw him into the wall. Discord slid down it, but didn’t seem injured. As the dragon turned to him, he noticed the off-switch on its stomach. A lightbulb appeared above his head as he snapped his clawed fingers and he was wearing elf attire and long blonde hair. He pulled out a bow and arrow and shot it at the switch, and to his luck it pressed the switch, turning off the dragon, as it fell with a large *Thud. Discord snapped his fingers as the machine went back to its original form and he was no longer wearing the elf attire. Plus, the smoke cloud had disappeared. Discord looked at Rainbow smugly, who snorted at him.
“You're just showing off." Discord flew back up to where Rainbow was as they exited the factory room.
"You're good at tackling metal dragons, but you aren't tough enough to tackle your own son, huh?" Rainbow asked Discord with a smirk as they went to check the other rooms of the factory. Rainbow had to repay Discord for when he helped her fulfill her lifelong dream, so she had to work at the Chaos Factory for about a week.
"Zap is a good kid, he takes after Fluttershy you know" he smiled as they entered into a room of oranges and apples, bouncing along the walls. They had to duck every now and then so they wouldn't accidentally get pelted with a fruit.
"But you just don't discipline him enough, Fluttershy it makes sense why she doesn't, but you?" Rainbow turned to him sharply.
"He takes after his mother but he also takes after you." Discord just attempted not to make eye contact.
"You gotta keep him under your hoof because if you don't the next thing you know, he'll be turning Ponyville upside down, creating chaos everywhere."
"I trust my son as I trust my wife, he's a good kid Crash, you just don't see it." After they left that room, they went into the next where every step or movement you make creates a strange noise.
"You never know Dipcord. You should take him somewhere, just the two of you, to know if he really cares and trusts you. Me and Soarin' decided to take one of the twins on a small trip, I'm taking Orangeball camping." She smiled proudly, showing off she was a better parent than The Lord of Chaos. They heard the main doors to the factory open, and a soft voice started calling out.
"Discord? Discord where are you?" Around the corner turned Fluttershy as she peeked in to see if he was there. He smiled at her warmly.
“What news do you have for me dearest?” He said while Rainbow gagged behind him.
“Well I got a call from Twilight saying it was something urgent, she already talked to me about it, and now she wants to talk with you…” Discord snapped his fingers and an old fashioned phone appeared before him. He picked the phone up.
“You called Sparkle?” He said as he walked out the door while the mares talked about what was going on.
“Yes Discord I have, it’s concerning your son, Zap”
“Really? Well, what about?”
“Discord, your son is in trouble!” Twilight said angrily, staring out her office window at the yellow pegasus. Discord raised an eyebrow at her.
“Yeah?”
“Well, aren’t you shocked by this?”
“Princess, have you forgotten that trouble is a good word in my dictionary? So” He grinned evilly.
“How much chaos did he use?” Twilight groaned as she rubbed her forehead.
“He dressed himself up as Joey, and caused the whole school to go in a riot” She said to him in a monotone.
“Oh...well that’s no fun! He could have done something cooler like turn the teachers into animal crackers, light your mane on fire, or-”
“Discord, this is serious!” She angrily interrupted him.
“Do you realize what could happen if events like this keep occurring? I know this was his last year in high school, but if he’s anything like you, he may start doing worse thing!”
“Oh, he would be following after his old man!” Discord wiped away a fake tear.
“Exactly, meaning he could have the same fate as his father.” Discord’s smile fell.
“What do you mean?”
“What I’m trying to say is that if things like this keep happening, and his powers and chaos get out of hoof, we’ll have no choice but...turn your son to stone.”
“No…”
“I’m sorry Discord, but if he keeps this up, he could possibly end up like you...even the same punishment.” It was then she hung up, but Discord was frozen stiff, holding the phone in his paw. A chair appeared by his feet, and he fell into it, still in shock as images of Zap in a stone prison, alone for a thousand years. Fluttershy walked up to him, trying to comfort him by hugging him.
“What are we gonna do now?” He asked her.
“I was talking with Rainbow and she told me about her camping trip with Orange and well...I thought you could do the same with Zap.” Discord went out of his trance as he turned to her.
“You think that could help him.”
“I believe it can, maybe a two week trip might work.” She gave him a little smile.
“That’s it!” Discord yelled as he jumped out of the chair, startling Fluttershy and Rainbow who had come out to see what was going on.
“I’ll take him JellyFish Fishing at Lake Maggie, just like I did when I was a teenager!”
"Jellyfish fishing?" Rainbow asked confused.
"It's different than you think, they don't sting." Discord started doing flips in the air.
"There's nothing like the outdoors to create a bond between a chaotic father and son!" He said as he hugged Fluttershy.
"So I'm gonna take my Zappy fishing!" He paused and dropped Fluttershy who flew down to the ground.
"Oh my gosh, I better start getting ready for the trip!" Discord flew out the door, while Rainbow and Fluttershy looked at each other in confusion.
