Ancient Warriors: Stag Beetles of Light and Darkness!

Frustration!

After Kuuga and Daguva finished their comical argument, every pony and person made their way to Princess Celestia's throne room. When they arrived there, Kuuga and Daguva, with Princess Celestia's help, explained their reason for letting the Sirens escape.

"Okay wait!" Twilight spoke up as she raised her hands to confirm what she was hearing, "You let the Sirens escape because they were suffering from a magical backlash from the amulets, and you let Star Swirl the Bearded seal you away voluntarily?!"

"Again, for the last time, all of it is true!" Kuuga groaned as he double facepalmed himself on the face in growing agitation, "Why is it so hard for you to believe me?!"

"But the books about you said-"

Twilight Sparkle's sentence was never finished as Kuuga let out a roar of impatience as his eyes glowed a bit more crimson and a slight miasma of darkness formed around him briefly, "Books, BOOKS, BOOKS!! Have you looked at anything else other than books!?"

"Kuuga! Whoa! Easy!" Daguva attempted to placated him as he rubbed Kuuga's back as Kuuga's eyes went slowly back to their normal shade but the slightly fast panting was evident enough that he's still mad.

"Kuuga, breathe... breathe!" Daguva ordered firmly, yet gently as he handed him a paper bag as the red rider inhaled and exhaled through it; however, Kuuga breathed a little too fast and his armor suddenly turned white as his horns shrank to his head while his eyes turned orange. His brief hyperventilation forced him into Growing Form!

Needless to say, everypony was rather surprised at this sudden change!

"Oghh!" Kuuga was about to faint to the floor if a red couch hadn't quickly caught him, "Thanks Rarity..."

"Y-Y-You're welcome darling," Rarity stuttered. She didn't expected this to happen!

Daguva groaned as he facepalmed, "Kuuga, you really need to calm down when you're stressed! Otherwise, this will keep happening!"

"What happen to him? I've never seen this form before..." Celestia stated as she looked over Kuuga.

"He's merely in his Growing Form." Daguva explained as he helped Kuuga get into a more comfortable position, "This sometimes happens when he gets really stressed or is injured to a critical level."

"How long will he stay in that form?" Twilight asked.

"2 hours," Daguva answered as he tightened one of his limiters on his wrists, "Until then, he can't change forms until he fully recovers."

"Does he do anything to kill time? Like play board games or bake pies?" Pinkie asked as she hopped a bit.

"Well, he-" Daguva was about to say something, but a sigh tainted in depression filled the room as Kuuga got up from the couch and walked out of the chambers.

"Where is he going?" Fluttershy asked.

Daguva didn't say anything, but instead he followed after Kuuga.

Applejack stared after the leaving duo before speaking up, "Hey everypony, I think we should leave. It has gotten late and I need to head home to make sure Apple Bloom is in bed."

"You have a point Applejack," Fluttershy followed, "I have to go home to feed the animals."

"I have to check on Sweetie Belle!" Rarity continued.

"Gotta' make sure the weather is all okay for tomorrow!" Rainbow pointed out.

"I have to give Spike some medicine for his stomach because of those continuous letters," Twilight remembered.

"And I need to bake a cake to accommodate for the party!" Pinkie shouted cheerfully.

"But Pinkie, isn't it a little late for a party and didn't you just make a feast recently?" Sunset asked in confusion.

"Don't be so super crazy silly Sunset!" Pinkie exclaimed, "That feast is for tomorrow! Why did you think I was making the omelette?"

Kuuga's trek around the castle lasted until he found himself standing on the balcony. The nightly breeze blew around him as he reached behind his back and took out a three pointed star crystal gem. The sections of the gem are each differently colored in order: light gold, light violet, and light cerulean. He slightly fingered the silver chain that is connecting from behind the charm before placing it back where it was.

"I thought I find you here," Daguva spoke up as he stood beside Kuuga, arms leaning against the railing, "Why did you leave the chambers so suddenly? Pinkie was just asking a question."

"Daguva, we both had a rough day ever since that stupid chimera woke us up," Kuuga stated as he clenched his hands on the railing, "I just want it to be completely over!"

"You miss the Sirens, don't you?" Daguva's question sounded more than a statement as he turned his gaze to the stars above them.

"Yeah, I just don't know how they are doing right now..." Kuuga admitted his hidden grief as he laid his head on his arms, "Those three were the first friends we have made when we arrived in this dimension. They were so kind to us before they found those pendants!"

Kuuga slammed a fist in anger causing the railing to crack a bit.

"Those pendants made them suffer so much! I'm glad we managed to destroy them before they could break our friendship with us!" Kuuga sighed as his posture relaxed somewhat, "I don't know if they are still out there, or even if they remember us..."

Daguva stared at Kuuga before he placed a clawed hand on his shoulder in pity. This action made Kuuga raise his head to Daguva in confusion.

"We'll find them someday, you just need to have more hope," Daguva stated, "That day will come eventually."

Kuuga stared at Daguva for a minute until he pushed himself off the railing, and shook Daguva's hand.

"Yeah. We'll find them eventually."

And then all of a sudden in a flash of light, a folder appeared right between the duo! White energy crackled around it as it floated into Kuuga's hands.

"What is that?" Daguva asked as Kuuga opened the folder slightly to retrieve a note that was sticking out, but he quickly closed it when some of the notes ruffled a bit when the wind blew by.

"We better go inside so the wind wouldn't carry the notes by accident," Kuuga suggeted as he kept his hands over the folder.

To you who find this folder-

If you are reading this, you are what I refer to as a Displaced. Some of us are being held here, in worlds not our own, by one known as The Merchant, a Void-Dweller of great power. If you can use these notes to find your way back to your relative home, I wish you the best of luck. Either because The Merchant is not to be trifled with, or because finding your relative Earth in all the Multiverse is like trying to find a grain of sand in a sandstorm.

Personally, I do not desire to leave. True, abandoning my life on Earth seems cowardly. But the power I now wield confers a responsibility, one that I fulfill willingly. And life in Equestria is more likely to be peaceable than life on Earth.

To those that want to return, I wish you the best of luck, and tell you that the best of results could be gathered by using something that you brought with you.

To those that wish to remain, I tell you that these notes can easily be reversed and used to shield your home from intrusions. Most notably, Discord could find them useful.

To those of you that wish to try to fight The Merchant, I tell you that he will likely not go down easy. Your best bet is to find the one known as Xante and team up with him.

And to those of you that wish to drag us all back...

Do not test me.

-Auric Fulcrum, Master of Psynergy, Wielder of the Flames of Alchemy, Slayer of the Wise One, Knight of the Eclipse, Lord of Eureka, Blade of Understanding.

"Displaced? That's quite an appropriate term for our situation..." Daguva noted.

"Hmm... Discord as an ally? I don't know... He called my motif a dung beetle..." Kuuga muttered a little angrily.

"He's the only chance we got with defending this dimension if there is a good chance enemies from other dimensions will attack," Daguva reminded.

"GRR! Fine! But he needs to stay petrified for a while for causing a bit of chaos today!" Kuuga humphed as he crossed his arms.

"You're just mad because he called you a dung beetle," Daguva pointed out.

"He deserves it!"

Daguva groaned as he pinched his nose in annoyance.

"Look! How about we keep this event to ourselves for a while until we show the folder to Celestia! Agreed?" Daguva held out his hand.

Kuuga looked at the hand and back at Daguva before groaning and shook his hand in agreement.

"Agreed..." He spoke in a reluctant tone.

They then walked back to the throne room to find it completely empty with the exceptions of Sunset and Celestia.

"Where is everypony?" Kuuga asked in confusion while he discreetly handed the folder to Daguva.

"They went home," Celestia answered, "As you should with Sunset Shimmer, since you are going to stay with her."

"What? These two are going to stay at the Canterlot Library with me?" Sunset asked, "Why would you do that?"

"Sunset... Do you remember that time when Applejack overworked herself without help and sleep for days?" Princess Celestia reminded.

"But I can handle myself! I made a schedule!" Sunset exclaimed as she pulled out the item which Kuuga immediately took to see for himself while he used one hand to keep Sunset away.

"Let's see... 7:30 AM, Wake up and shower; 8:20 AM, Eat breakfast; 9:15 AM, Organize books; 9:30, Double-check... Oh, For the love of-! Sunset, when do you have the time to relax! From what I could see on this thing, all I see is work and no play! No wonder Celestia wants us to stay with you!" Kuuga tossed the schedule to Daguva.

"But I need that!" Sunset whined as she tried to retrieve it.

"No, you don't!" Daguva stated as he tossed the schedule to Princess Celestia, "Let's go, we need to get some rest from the day we had!"

Sunset could only moan in distress as Kuuga and Daguva took her by the arms.

"Wait!" Princess Celestia called out as she used her magic to pull out a rolled up parchment, "Take this, it's a map of Canterlot. You might need it to get to the Canterlot Library."

Daguva grabbed the parchment as it floated over to him and nodded as he and Kuuga continued to drag Sunset out of the castle, much to the unicorn's misfortune.
