Elements of Blood

The Escape

Dull pain in the abdomen and a very wet feeling all over her face, those were the causes that snapped the princess of the night from her state of unconsciousness. Her eyes were too heavy to open, her ears were ringing painfully, her arms felt like being stretched so much to be pulled out of their places and her wings had the exact same feeling but they were pulled downwards. However, her hooves felt like they’re hanging in midair. When she concentrated more, he entire body seemed to be hanging.

When she finally managed to open her eyes she confirmed her hypothesis. She was hanging by her arms from the ceiling of what seemed like a torturing cell. A quick scan of the cell and even the smell of it sent shivers to her spine as a hoard of feelings including fear, guilt and disgust. After all, this cell was a carbon copy of the ‘Equin Intelligence Agency Interrogation and Questioning Rooms’ that were used in the darker days of the sisters’ regime. There was also weighted cuffs that pulled her wings downwards, preventing them from even flinching. Also her horn was covered with a metallic cone that was enchanted with a sort of a magic neutralizing spell. She never thought she would end up again in a place like this after over a millennia, and this time she’s on the other side of the table.

“Finally, her highness is up.” Fluttershy said, she stood there, busting her chest in the face of Princess Luna, and she was holding what seemed like an empty bucket. As the Princess’s sight finally got back to its full recovery, she saw traces of red, thick liquid on the walls of the bucket that was, without a doubt, the cause of the wet feeling she had, which made her send questioning and terrifying looks towards the bucket and its holder all the same.

“Oh! I see you noticed the little surprise we got for your highness. It was a special request of her grace Queen Twilight Sparkle to give you some of our feast yesterday because you weren’t in the, ummm, condition to join us. I thought it was a waste to waste some high quality blood on some royal bitch. But orders are orders after all, and our queen likes to show hospitality to our guests.”

The princess looked down and saw the thick red liquid dripping from her hooves and soaking her entire mane and coat. She looked in shock, disbelieve and disgust. The only reaction she could master is vomiting. She still didn’t believe that her own closest friends became monsters. How did she let that happen? Why didn’t she notice what was happening with them from the start? However, one thing was certain to her. Her friends were long gone to her, and they can’t be helped anymore.

“Y-you monster.” Princess Luna managed to say between coughs and sobs.

“That’s a very rude thing to say to your subjects from the creatures of the night your highness. I mean, didn’t you create us yourself Princess?” Queen Twilight Sparkle said when she entered the room. She looked closely and inspected the princess, finally looking her deep in the eye. Her eyes were terrifying, they were burning with desire and full of darkness. “I see that my subordinate here was hospitable to you. Good job Fluttershy.”

Fluttershy bowed down to Queen Twilight. “I’m just doing my best to serve you my queen. Though it’s hard to resist her right now. She smells and looks delicious.”

“Now, now.” Twilight said, putting a hand on Fluttershy’s shoulders. “You have to be patient about these kind of things. Plus, you don’t want to get some of it without the rest of the hive right. Plus, you need to make this right to get the best taste. The royal blood especially needs to be slowly drained.”

The Princess didn’t believe the conversation taking place in front of her. They are talking about her like she was some kind of cake. Then her looks changed to full terror as Twilight summoned some apparatus that was specialized in blood drainage. Twilight then used her magic to move the needled rubber tubes towards The Princess of the night.

“Don’t worry princess. It will just hurt a little in the beginning, then you will not feel a thing.” Twilight said as she started sticking the needles in Luna’s major veins in her limbs and wings. In no time, blood started flowing out of her body, filling the glass jar that was on the other end of the tubes.

Fluttershy stared at the blood flowing in the tubes, her eyes were full of blood thirst. “The sight itself is more than magnificent your grace.”

“It sure is Fluttershy. Now let’s leave the Princess of the night for her delightfully relaxing experience.” Twilight said as she turned her back to the Princess and took her leave, Fluttershy in her tail, and closing the iron door behind them.

Princess Luna started to feel dizzy and limb all over her body. She was losing blood in a very high rate and she know it won’t be long till she passes out. She also knows very well that once she passes out, she’s done for. She trying using her magic to disable the neutralizing spell surrounding her horn but it was futile.

Princess Luna though so hard about what she could do in this grave situation. She was getting weaker by the second and she is starting to lose her concentration. She may have nodded off a couple of time even. However, she refuses to give up. She felt that it was her responsibility that all this happened. She was the reason that these creatures came to life in the first place and they’re now back, and she will be the only one to stop them.

“Okay, this is the last option I’ve got. And I know that I’ve got only one shot in it. I don’t know if it will be successful or it will lead to my death. But if this didn’t work, nothing else will.”

After Princess Luna said these words to reassure herself, she starting to redirect her concentration to her magical core. She knew that the amount of magic she had can blow up entire planets in its raw form so she had to be very careful in its plan. She started to materialize her magical energy into a liquid form and retract what’s left of her blood from her limbs to her vital organs.

Her plan was successful so far, blood started to retreat and magic started to flow in her veins instead. Surely it started to flow also in the tubes in place of her blood. As magic started to fill the rest of the bloody glass container. It started to change back to its original form of energy, expanding and applying pressure on the walls of the container. Finally, the princess sent a final burst of magical energy which was with higher temperature as it was extracted directly from her magical core.

The result of this reaction was a huge blow that blew away the princess and the wall of the cell. It sent her flying then falling from what seemed like a high tower that was the place in the castle where her cell was located. She tried to flap her wings but she was weak to do any action. Then she just registered herself to her fate and closed her eyes. Hoping that these beasts won’t find anything in her corpse for them to drain and feast upon.
