I woke up the next morning to Luna sitting in my desk chair, hugging her tail, watching me. I sat up and said, “I guess you want to know about what you saw and about your dream.” She nodded, then I told her the Truth, “Luna, before you came to me, deep inside you, is a power to see living creature, and you saw my dream, A nightmare of you being taken away from me, but that won’t happen I would through the army to stop them.” She let go of her tail and slithered to me, then got on me and wrapped her hooves around my neck. I smiled as I hugged her.
For a few hour, we worked on packing up the house, I picked out a cage and asked Luna to try it out. She said, once she was in, “Why did you ask me to get in the cage.”
I knelt down and said, “So I can hide you in a box without fear you might be crushed, don’t worry, I will be carry the box.”
We got the rest done before noon, so we ate the rest of the pizza. I called the moving company to help me move, they said they’ll be here in 10 minutes. So, Luna got into her cage, then I placed the cages in a box surrounded by pillows, then taped it up and put holes in the box, once they got here, they helped me put the TV, my bed, entertainment stand, table, all of my yard stuff and most of my boxes into the moving truck. I fitted what was left of the boxes into my car, with Luna’s box in the front passenger seat. We drove for an hour to my new house. After an hour of hard labor, unloading the truck and my car, I paid them and then they left.
I shut the door, walked over to the box labeled Luna, grabbed my knife and sliced open the tape, being careful not to cut the box or Luna’s cage. I pulled out the pillows and lifted up the cage. Luna stretched, once I let her out of her cage. I looked at the time, it was 4:53. I plugged the TV in and rummaged through the boxes, until I found my PS3. I hooked it up and grabbed the remote, then I gave to Luna and said, “Play for an hour, then shut it off and come help with our room.”
She looked at me and said, “Ok, daddy.” Then went back to the game
I walked to my new room, my new house had two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room. I decide Luna will still be sleeping with me, since I don’t anyone to take her away.
After I did my desk, I started working on my bed. I was screwing the last bolt, when I heard Luna say, “Sorry, daddy.”
I set the ratchet down, then looked at Luna, and said, “What are you sorry about?
Luna said, as she moved closer, “I went over the time. I played for an hour and a half.”
I walked closer and knelt down, then placed my hand on Luna’s head and said, “I understand, you got wrapped up in the game that you forgot to keep track of time, it happens to me all the time, come help me with our bed.”
Luna said, while helping, “since we have two bedrooms why do I need to still sleep with you?
I said, while grabbing the mattress, “So I can keep an eye on you, plus it’s going to get colder.” I looked outside to see the leaves of the tree change color.
I grabbed my keys, and walked to the door. then Luna teleported right next to me, and said, “Where are you going?”
I grabbed my hat, and said, as I placed it on, “Out. I’ll bring us dinner as well. Finish up the bed and the desk boxes while I’m gone.”
I shut the door, got in the car, and drove to the city. As I was driving, I had time to think. Her magic is getting a little strong each day. I wonder when she will control the moon. When will she be able to hypnotize someone. Doesn’t matter, if I teach her right from wrong, her powers won’t be a problem. As I was reaching the supermarket, I had already figured out what I needed, two salads, some mountain dew, loaf of bread, pack of slice cheese, salad dressing, milk, cereal, and other lunch food. After getting the stuff and paying for it, I got into my car and drove home
When I got home, I saw the door was wide open, and some boxes, were moved, and others were empty. As I got out of the car, I was confronted by one of neighbors. He said, “Sorry for the mess I made, saw you door was open, and decided to help a little. Hope you don’t mind.”
I smiled and said, “No it’s fine, but next time you do a neighborly thing. ask the person, okay.” We shook hands and parted. I raced into my house, carrying all the groceries.
When I got in, I shut the door, set the food down, and called for Luna. She came running out of the second bedroom, crying. I knelt down and said, as she threw her hooves around my neck,”What's wrong?
She said, after she calmed down, “I was doing the bedroom, then I heard the door open I thought it was you, since you locked the down, so I race to the door, and there in the doorway stood a small unicorn. I panicked, she said she was her to take me home. then after a few minutes, I don’t know what happened, she asked what I was doing with my eyes, then after another few minutes, she had swirls in her eyes and started drooling. Then I heard, a man call for anyone here, I told the unicorn to follow me to the second bedroom and we’ve been hiding over since.”
I stood up and sighed, it has begun, then I said, “Lets go see our visitor.”
I followed Luna to the bedroom, there sat a unicorn, with swirls in her eyes, and drool going down her chin. The pony had a pink coat, violet mane and tail, with a lavender streak, and a cutie mark of 3 cut diamonds. I said, to the unicorn, “Can you tell me your name?” The unicorn didn’t respond, then I turned to Luna and said, “can you get her out of trance, I have some questions for her. While you do that, I’m going to put the groceries away.” I walked to where I left the groceries,
After I got done with the food in the fridge, Luna came out, with the unicorn following her, Luna said, as I reached for another bag, “It’s done, daddy.” I turned to the unicorn and Luna, then said, “Luna, could you please help me put away the groceries, so I can talk to our... guest.” Luna nodded, then levitated a chair over to the counter and a bag onto the counter. I gestured the unicorn to follow me to our room.
I shut the door, then turned to the unicorn and said, as I sat down on my bed, “First tell me your name.”
The unicorn danced from hoof to hoof, I think in nervous, then said, “Amethyst Star, what’s your name?”
I said, “So, that’s how it’s going to be, I ask a question, then you ask a question. my name is Eric, and I have three questions, one, did you come on your own account or did Celestia send you, two, do you know what Luna means to me, and three, do you know why Luna is a lamia?”
Amethyst said, while taking a step back, “I think a bit of both, without Luna, ponies have been having nightmares. No, but, by the way she calls you dad, I would think she is your daughter. No, I don’t know, all I know is she disappeared one night. How long has it been?
I said, without believing it, “6-7 months. Are you good at taking care of animals, not saying she is one, just asking of the snake part.”
Amethyst nodded, then said, “I worked with some reptiles. Why do you ask?”
My work is about an hour away, if there was any trouble I wouldn’t be able to get here in a few minutes. So, I’m asking for you to take care of Luna, and calm her down if she hypnotizes another pony.”
Amethyst hesitated, and said, “Ok, I’ll do it, what season are we in?
I said, as I open the door, “Autumn.” Then headed to help Luna with the groceries.
