The security killed about 20 royal guards and captured the rest for " non human experiments", but they couldn't find the princesses. Oh ya all the citizens ran away when they heard gun shots. 

Thrain was forced back into his own dimention and scedualled for more experiments, though he was allowed to sleep for the night. 

He reawoke in his Equestrian body, he looked around, but found nopony there. He got up with a groan, he said, "ugh, I need to find Luna." He opened his wings and flew out the med wing to find her. 

After a few minutes of passing a few guards and servants he realized that he was in the crystal empire, Thrain knew where exactly he needed to go. 

Once he got to the royal chambers, he stood in front of the door, "what are they going to ask, I hope no questions because I am not sure I want to nor can answer them." He took a deep breath in, and out, He pushed open the doors, Cadence and Shining Armor were sitting on the throne talking with Celestia and Luna. 

Shining Armor looked at Thrain and said, "Thrain, what happened?" 

They all looked at him, though Luna flew through the air and hugged him, "what happened Thrain, why did that human talk to me like you do?" 

Asked Luna, Thrain replied, "well, it is a long story, but I since that I will have to tell it anyway. I am a rifter, that means that I can switch my mind from one body to another, it happens when I sleep, the body goes limp and pretty much is dead. 

In my equestrian body I am married to a beautiful princess, I have everything I have ever wanted. 

But when I travel to my human body, well, when I was 5 a private corporation had interest in me along with a few other kids, sadly all of them are dead, but they took me from my house and treated me like a lab animal. 

Everyday is get up in a cold metal cell, eat some mush that I can't describe, I get taken to the observation table where they administer numerous tests, some include electroshock therapy at 1000 volts. Injecting me with various things to increase my mental power, dissection and putting the part BACK in me when they are done. 

Oh also there are many more that would make you all throw up such as drowning me, burning me, injecting radiation into me, and some days they get lazy and don't use anesthetic for the dissection. 

My life over here is a dream come true, the other one an endless nightmare of pain." 

All of them were just staring at him in shock, a minute later Celestia asked, "why are they here Thrain?" 

He looked down and spoke, "profit. 

They see this planet as slave labor and money from mining out this planet, much like how they are mining out my planet today." 

He started to tear up, "what gives them the right to do that kind of stuff to you?" 

Asked Cadence, "because it is all secret, and if any of the government finds out about it they just bribe them to forgetting about it, money can do anything in our world, one thing you all need to know is that the C.E.O of the company, he will stop at nothing to get profit and become the richest person on our world. Basically ruling it, all of you will die if something doesn't happen." 

Luna was on the brink of tears, Shining Armor asked, "what can we do to stop them?" 

Thrain sputtered out, "n-nothi-ng, with it's money and man power they are unstoppable." They all just looked at him. 

"What? That is all I know, I am only a lab rat." Luna asked, "how can anypony be so cruel?!" Thrain replied, "because they don't care who or what they hurt, just that they don't get hurt and make money, it's stupid, but I am not the only one hurt by them. 

They run all college debt, super markets, small businesses, and they even have salve labor in Africa." 

Shining Armor asked, "well, how do you know all this?" Thrain looked down, "because in my human body I can read the minds of other beings, my human body is much more powerful than this body, maybe because they enhanced it so much, or maybe it was first, I don't know. 

But what I can tell you is that the only way to stop them is to close the portal, ending the connection." 

Said Thrain, Celestia asked, "why do I feel like there is more then just closing the portal, is there?" 

Thrain looked at Luna and said, "it would mean killing my human body, and Equestrian body, killing me." 

They all stepped back a little bit, killing the stallion that Shining Armor grew up with, the one who Luna married. 

The stallion who introduced Cadence to Shining, and the one who always helped Celestia when she was slammed with work, "I don't want to die, but I will to keep all you safe, anything is better than what they did, this place, all of you. That is what has kept me going through the years, I'm sorry, but this is the only way to close the portal." 

Luna was crying, Celestia was having to think, Shining was hugging Cadence, suddenly Thrain fell on the floor, Luna immediately jumped next to him, "i-i-it's th-h-hem they ar-e-e sh--oock--ing me bac-k-k to my hum-a-an b-o-ody, h-e-e-elp!" 

Thrain was closed his eyes and transferred to the human body.

Back on Earth:

His eyes started to open to a painfully white room, he was in a straight jacket and some guy in a radiation suit had a needle in his hand, "this will keep you mutant awake," said the man. 

He put the needle into Thrain's neck, now he did cringe a bit, though he didn't move, "you will never sleep again." 

With that the man left the room leaving Thrain to root away. Though what they don't know is that Thrain has a secret power that none of the scientists know, he can teleport short distances. 

He closed his eyes and in a second pop, he was outside the door with out his straight jacket, a security guard saw him and pulled out a taser gun. 

He used his powers and the guard's head blew up leaving a bloody mess all over the walls, the body fell over and bleed out the top, "egh, that was cool and disgusting." He ran towards the portal. 

After a few minutes of killing various guards and scientists he made it to the portal room, just as he got there the scientist who normally experiments on him stepped out and froze, "we have an animal out of containment, I repeat we hav-" 

Thrain grabbed his throat and lifted him up, "w-what do-o you w-wan-t-t?!" 

Thrain looked into his eyes and told him, "I want you to die, screaming for what you did to me, I am just a normal human, I might have been born with some extra stuff, but I am still a human. That means that I can kill or spare you, though sadly for you I want to kill you." 

After that he tightened his hand and threw him to the side the scientist's neck was bruised, but still intact. Thrain walked through the portal, though before he could the scientist asked, "w-why did you let-t me live?" 

Thrain looked at him and replied, "unlike you, I only hurt those who I have to hurt, not just for money, but for survival. You didn't pose a threat to me so I let you live, for now." 

He walked through the portal leaving the scared scientist be.

On Equestria:

Shining Armor was on patrol in the crystal empire, Cadence was sleeping, Celestia was in her guest room trying to figure out how to stop them, Luna was getting her armor on (it is the same armor that was used in the fall of the crystal empire vid, link on the bottom of this page) 

She was getting ready to do some recon at Canterlot, against Celestia's wishes. 

Luna flew out a window, he mane was flowing beautifully in the wind. 

After a few minutes she reached the now conquered Canterlot, there were guys with big guns all around so she used a little magic to turn invisible. 

Once she got to the castle entrance she heard some gun shots, "braaa, braaaaa, bra." She saw a guard fall off her balcony and land next to her, he died before hitting the ground. 

She thought, "what's going on?" So she flew up to her balcony only to find the human who was Thrain's other body, she hoped. S

he landed down and uncloaked, the thing brought his gun up and pointed it at her, once he saw it was her he lowered his gun and said, "L-Luna? Is that you? It's me, Thrain!" 

She had to think for a second, "prove it, when and where did we get married?" 

Said Luna, "that's easy, we got married when the changelings attacked Canterlot, we didn't get married, we eloped in Los Pegasus and you threw up all over a roulette wheel." 

Luna believed it was him, only he knew she threw up, she did erase that memory from everypony. "It is you!" 

She flew over and hugged him, he hugged her back. Luna asked, "h-how did you get out?" 

He lightly kissed her and replied, "I have powers that they don't know about, this body, like I said, is far stronger then my Equestrian body." Just as he says that three guards run into the room from the portal, guns raised, "I got this honey," said Thrain, he lifted his hand up and the guard's eyes just popped leaving them blind and in immense pain, they fell on the ground screaming. 

Thrain had a smile grow on his face, while Luna stared in shock that her husband couldn't do something like that and like it. "Do you think we should go doll?" 

Luna came back to reality and replied, "I do," Thrain got on her back and they flew back to the Crystal Empire, though on the way they landed on a cloud and made out for about thirty or forty minutes. 

When they flew in front of the castle the guards surrounding it pointed their spears at Thrain, "don't, it's Thrain, long story," said Luna. 

The guards looked at him for a sec and let them through.
