The five ponies, and the dragon, were about to start their meeting when the door to the throne room was opened by an orange pegasus guard with a blue mane.
I know what every one outside the fourth wall is thinking, why is Flash Sentury here and not in the Crystal Empire? Well simple awnswer after Twilight had had her castle for a while celestia had thought it would be a good idea for Twilight to have some royal guards of her own. Cadence and Shining Armor had aggreed to this and so they each chose some guards. Cadence, being the princess of love that she is, and knowing of Twi's crush on the pegasus, sent Flash to be part of her Sister-in-law's royal gaurd. Maybey it would be easier for the two to get together sometime.
Best plan ever right.(Not really)
"Your highness" Flash spoke
"Flash I have asked you a million times to just call me Twilight." The purple alicorn said with a twinge of annoyance.
What? Sure she was the princess of freindship but, she still didnt like to be addressed that way. She had been an ordinary unicorn with a somewhat normal life like every pony else in Equestria before she was a princess.
She still wasnt comfortable with her title and even if she had been okay with it she didnt want her freinds, of crush, to address her that way. It still didnt feel fight.
"Twilight then" Flash nodded "Well Twilight, your freind is here" He said before stepping aside alowing Fluttershy to walk in.
"Thanks Flash" Twilight smiled "You may go now."
"As you wish" Flash said before leaving and closing the door behind him.
"Sorry I'm late girls" Fluttershy apoligized quietly.
"Well, what took you so long?" Rainbow asked rather rudely "We were waiting forever for you"
"Rainbow dash!" Applejack scolded
"What? We were all thinking it" Rainbow said as if she were inocent
""Whatever" Twilight rolled her eyes "At least we are all here and can start now" Every pony nodded and took their seats.
"So darling wat exactly is this about?" Rarity asked
"Well as you all know the grand galloping gala is coming up," Twilight began and when she saw everypony was paying atention she continued "Well Celestia has asked that we help with preperations for this years gala "
"Really she asked you to help?" Apple Jack asked suspiciously
"Okay I offered to help" Twilight admitted "But seriously last time I helped I had so much fun."
"Great, but what do we have to do with this?" Fluttershy asked
"Right." twilight said remembering why she had called this meeting "Celestia has some preperations for the gala done but she is going to let us help and do the rest."
"Oh darling that's amazing" Rarity smiled while begining to think up some designs for the gala
"Totally!" Rainbow Dash aggreed
"I know right!" Pinkie exclaimed "I'll put up streamers and balloons and we can have awesome music! Oh and..." During pinkies talking she was inturupted when Apple Jack covered her mouth with her hoof
"Oh uh... about that " Twilight chuckled nervously "I'm sorry but Celestia already has somepony to decorate for the gala. Sorry"
"Oh, okay" Pinkie said with a bit of sadness before going to her usual hyper active voice "But why would Celestia hire somepony to decorate and not me?"
"I dont know," Twilight shrugged "But she did."
"You know Pinkie, its unlikely that whoever Celestia asked to do this is done already they might let you help." AJ said optimisticly
"Applejack is right" Fluttershy aggreed "They could let you help them"
"And if not there are plenty of other things to do." Rainbow added
"You girls are right!" Pinkie beamed "No pony can plan a party as fast as me I will toatally get a chance to help. Even if its a small one!"
"Great now that weve got that covered" Twilight said before looking at a list "Celestia has assignrd some jobs for a couple of you"
"Cool! What are they?" Pinkie asked exitedly even though she already had an assignment.
"Well Applejack has been asked to help bake food for this gala" Twilight awnsered "Can you do that AJ?"
"Darn tootn' I can" AJ smiled accepting her task.
"Great" Twilight smiled "Now Rarity?"
"Yes darling?" Rarity said, ready for her task
"Celestia has asked you design outfits for this gala and well, this years gala is going to be specail." Twilight explained " And Celestia has actually chosen a theme for this one"
"Really? What is it?" Rarity asked exitedly
"I honestly dont know yet." Twilight admitted
"Why not?" Rainbow asked
"Well I have'nt read the part of Celestia's letter that says what it is yet." Twilight explained "I wanted to wait till you were all here."
"Well we are here now so read it" Pinkie said in her usual hyperactive way
"Okay" Twilight then levitaited Celestia's letter and opened it as every pony gathered around her she then began to read "I bet you are wondering by now what the theme is. Well the teme for the gala is a..."
And Twilight stoped there and smiled at the last word and every pony else gasped
"Oh my gosh!" Rarity exclaimed exitedly "I've always, always, always wanted to design outfits for one of these! And now I get to!"
"This sounds really girly." Spike cringed, "Do I have to go?" He asked, but every pony ignored him
"This is going to be the best party in the history of parties!" Pinkie said jumping up and down exitedly "Well exept for Rainbow's birth-aversary where Cheese and I planed a party together but really what could top that?!"
And every pony just stared at Pinkie before shrugging it off. Just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie.
"I aggre this sounds so fun." Fluttershy half whispered
"I think so too." Twilight aggreed "And Celestia wants us to leave tomorrow"
Rarity gasped "Oh my, there is so much to pack, all my sewing supplies and matireals and..."
And as Rarity continued her small rant about things she would need the others aggreed to meet at the train station
Eventually they all left to prepare and Spike went to help Rarity get gems she would need for her outfits.
Once every pony was gone, Twilight began to squeal like a little filly and fly around her throne room and she nearly hit the chandeleir her freinds had made for her.
"Oops" She blushed when she realized what she had been doing. She couldnt help it she was so exited.
Twilight floated back to the ground and began to leave her throne room when she, litterally, bumped into Flash
"What's got you so exited?" He asked
"Oh, uh.." Twilight blushed realizing flash had heared her flip out. "I'm just exited for the upcoming gala"
"Oh," Flash began to look a bit nervous for some reason "Hey twilight I was wondering if maybey, you'd like to go to the gala with me?' Heasked really quickly
"Really" Twilight squealed then realized it and cleared her throat "I mean sure I'd luve to. You can come with me when I leave in the morning" She smiled and then waalked away and when she was far enough away she had a silent flip out.
After Twilight left Flash pumped his fist and mouthed 'yes' before walking off to do... something
