It was the middle of the night as a terrified unicorn ran as fast as possible from the parasprite like creatures chasing her. It wasn't until she found herself in front of the castle of the two sisters that she stopped to catch her try and catch her breath.
"Rarity! Rarity where are you?" she heard a familiar voice before noticing the creatures were all around her. There was no escape for her now.
"HELP!"
"Don't worry Rarity, your Spikey wikey is here!" Spike yelled as he jumped in front of Rarity. It was then a swarm of flying books with Twilights face on them surrounded the unicorn and dragon, shooting words off of their pages into their brains and slowly eating them.
Falling to the ground holding his head because of information overload, spike found himself useless. He grew up with Twilight so he couldn't fight her like Rarity can
"Books! Learn! Study!" the twibooks chorused over and over again
"Get away from us!" Spike yelled trying to swat them away as they slowly engulfed him, finally eating him whole.
"Books! Learn! Study!"
"SPIKEY!" Rarity shrieked before whispering "you, you ruffians are going to pay for that" lighting her horn and starting to set the twibooks on fire with her magic, not even caring that her mane had already been eaten. After a good ten twibooks were down she noticed a flash of light. Turning around she saw it was one person she knew could help her. "Princess Luna!"
"Hello my little....."
"Books! Learn! Study!"
Before she could finish she noticed she was surrounded by the twibooks trying to eat her regalia. "What in my sisters name is this Tartarus?" Luna muttered before joining Rarity in lighting them on fire.
"They, they just keep coming" Rarity panted out of breath from using so much of her magic and running. "I don't know where they came from."
"Books! Learn! Study!"
"Please Princess, I don't want to be eaten anymore! I've put up with too much to die! This is the worst possible thing! "Luna lit her horn and a giant bubble formed around them and rolling her eyes at the drama queen. "This should hold them back for a while."
"I figured you could of gotten rid of all of them with a spell, but this works too." she explained very relieved to get a moment of actual rest
"My apologies, normally I would love the target practice but there are too many Twilight book creatures things for even my sanity. Trying not to laugh at the idea of book Twilights and how no one else has dreamed of them yet, Luna had failed and started giggling. "This is truly a nightmare I need to tell my sister about. Not mentioning Rarity's name of course, but a Twilight book creature would certainty make her day," she told herself
"What is going on princess? Is this Discords doing?" Rarity asked shaking her head rather violently trying to erase the memory of when he turned Ponyville into the Chaos capital of the world.
"No, you are dreaming Miss Rarity."
"A dream? It feels so real though." looking over at the sea of books bleeding words.
"After everything you have been through since my return I imagine it would, I assure you though this is just a dream. It is one of the more unique ones I've seen lately. Do you what could have possible caused a dream such as this?
"Possibly, but I do not see how it could have caused this, it is rather silly, and the situation is over with. At least for now" Rarity started thinking of other possibility's
"Tell me about it. In one second" it was then Rarity noticed Lunas (I have a idea) grin she has only seen one other time. Luna lit her horn and shot a lightning bolt at the bubble; sending hundreds of twibooks scattering like cockroaches in light, and both of them laughing.
"Thank you princess, that was priceless! Now if they would stay away that would be fabulous!"
"It is something I always wanted to do with Twilight. She has always gotten scared rather easily, but my sister forbid me from pranking her. That is why I asked Pinkie Pie to help on occasion. I don't think she actually does it on purpose though. Now tell me about your current situation, what could have cause you to dream about being attacked by Twilight?, err books?, impersonating parasprite? The creature things." Luna finally decided on. There were no words to call them, but creature things.
"Well you see, I wanted to try and get more business associated in other cities, sell my dresses to them, maybe get a few requests. You know get my name out there, and maybe open up more boutiques around Equestria. As of right now I have connections Canterlot, Manehattan, and the Crystal empire, but before I even attempted to try and make more deals, I wanted to learn a little more about what would be required, possible out comes, who I would be dealing with, and how it would effect me. You know schedule, financial, inventory, and a few others"
Rarity looked over and Luna nodded. "So I have a idea what happened but for the fun of it, please finish your story." she said looking like a filly with during a bedtime story
Sighing knowing Luna was going to make her finished the story, even though it was obvious how it ended she took a minute to try and figure out how she could put it the past two days into words." "I went over to the golden oaks library to ask Twilight if she had any books that would help me with my research, that I could borrow for a few weeks. She took it as a opportunity to become a teacher. The past two days, I haven't even slept, and barely had the opportunity to eat because she has been trying to drill so much into my head. She finally passed out allowing me to escape home. I think this is how Rainbow felt when Twilight tried helping her study for her Wonderbolts test"
Luna couldn't help but start laughing. "That does not surprise me on bit, and most likely knowing those two. According to my sister, she has always put more then possible into what she did, or studied. The one time she didn't was when she her first time hungover and trying to hide it from Celestia. From what I heard it didn't end well."
"I am more then aware, and Twilight is fun when she is hung over." She giggled remembering when Pinkie spiked the punch and Twilight turned herself rainbow colored. "I was hoping she would just let me borrow a few books though. I supposed I should have known better." she said chuckling and mentally slapping herself "Now that I think about it, I could have just asked Spike to bring them to me and go around her all together.
"That would have most likely been easier." Luna said amused that she didn't think of it sooner. "If you wish, I know some ponies who would I am sure would love to have a business deal with you. They are kind of far, but travel a lot selling upcoming fashion trends. I believe that is what they call it at least" Rarity got a big smile and jumped up to hug Luna, who graciously excepted and hugged her back.
"Oh, Princess Luna?"
"Yes?"
"When did you get so good at speaking modern? Since your return you have spoken in ancient equestrian."
"Do not worry about it please." and with that Luna was gone
"Thank you princess" Rarity whispered. It was then she noticed all of the twibooks were gone, and she was in a giant room surrounded with sewing supplies. "It's my inspiration room! Well dream or not, it is never bad time to work on my new line!" and with that Rarity started working

Today I learned that weaponized forms of books with the element of magic's head on them are really fun to set on fire.
