The party thrown by Pinkie welcoming me to Equestria was a pleasant way to spend time once again with family and now the rest of my friends here on this part of Equus, during the party my step-dad could not be there because he had a meeting with the new CEO of his old company, my step-brother and his wife were away in the Crystal Empire visiting Cadence & Armor; also during the party Celestia revealed a little secret, she was present during my two of my 3 Reenactments Reenactments I took part in during the last contact and now; not only was she there but she even photographed the two events and filmed them on a Digital Camera, she then shared this with the others of which to my surprise...they were highly entertained, it was Rainbow said something she would love to watch live and even take part in, Aj was of the same opinion.
The other expressed their thoughts including Luna who said she too would take interest in watching it at least; Rarity had to give two cents on...you guessed it, the uniforms; Rarity had some remarks but said she found some of the attire appealing; Pinkie was all over the cannons...interesting but somewhat foreseen; Fluttershy said she would pass and would be a little more comfortable seeing it recorded. After all was said and done it came down to the issue at hand, the topic being my pony disguise for my tour of selected places of Equestria, mostly being Canterlot and Ponyville....the issue though was....putting on my disguise, the reason? Looks like my body will know the feel of a different form by being given the anatomy of Equestrian life-form earlier than I and even my mother planned.
"So it seems my Equestrian form will be restored early, but not fully," I remarked addressing the mutual 'elephant in the room'.
"So it seems Nephew," Luna said in her usual tone.
"Of course; this can be done tomorrow after your DNA test you requested, for now let us just get comfortable and enjoy the time here," Celestia said trying to keep the present mood.
"Sounds good..." I replied.
"Why David? I think we should have you a pony now then you'll be set," Rainbow suggested.
"If David doesn't want to do this now let him say 'not now'," Sunset said.
"Just sayin' saves time and gets him used to it faster, don't wanna talk most of the day helping him figure it out," Rainbow stated.
"That is in a way true," I mused aloud.
"See? That is why we should do this," Rainbow added in.
"Be as it may Rainbow, it is still David's choice," Twilight said.
"Exactly; well David? What do you want?" Celestia asked kindly.
"I think....." I said while deciding, "I will wait til tomorrow," I said finally.
"I agree with your decision; I would have to be honest asked you to wait as well," Celestia said.
"Really dude?" Rainbow asked me looking bummed.
"Rainbow~...." Celestia said in a warning tone.
"Yes Princess," Rainbow said bowing her head submissively.
"Now that that is resolved we can however talk about one thing though right now," Celestia said.
"Indeed, what to do tomorrow? Also what could be a false back story for David?" Luna asked.
"For what to do; we could for a location choice start in Ponyville...then decide on a tour plan for Canterlot," Twilight suggested.
"Good idea Twilight," Celestia said smiling.
"Oh! oh! Sugarcube Corner first?" Pinkie asked energetically.
"I do not see why not," I replied, Pinkie squee'd in reply.
"Then could we head to my Boutique? I would like to get you some Equestrian Attire...but maybe we should do that now...since you will have a tail when you change," Rarity stated.
"That sounds like an idea...should have thought about that," Celestia said looking like she was internally forehead smacking.
"Fear not sister, that is an easy remedy, a need of new clothes? Simple," Luna said helpfully.
"Indeed Luna, I think I can help with that," Rarity chimed magicking a tape measure into existence; Rarity then began to make my measurements for my new clothes, even though that was not needed, Rarity being Rarity likes near perfection, with herself being a Perfectionist.
"Now, I will for now of course purchase some clothes that will best suit you, since my product is sold here as well it will be as close as to custom made as it can get!" Rarity said boastfully.
"Of this I have no doubts, I am sure your clothes will be well chosen," I replied.
"Oh~ So flattering!" Rarity said flicking her wrist in a 'you're too kind' fashion.
"There! Now that that is settled, I think this party has gone on long enough what do you think?" Celestia asked.
"I think it has, I am partied out and I would perhaps like to look around just the castle itself," I said.
"That sounds like a good idea, but let's get this cleaned up first," Twilight said.
"I got this...oooone second!~" Pinkie said and just like that she began her clean-up and with in a few seconds to a few minutes the room was spotless! "Ta-da!!" Pinkie said smiling ear-to-ear.
"As usual, well done Pinkie!" Rainbow said.
"It's nothin'."
"Still an eye-opener..." I remarked to myself.
"Since the room is clean let us begin our small tour of Canterlot Castle," Luna said; soon we began our tour of the places of interest and importance so I knew my way around when I live here.
During the tour Celestia and I had a small talk ahead of the group.
"Getting a feel for the place?" Celestia asked.
"I think I am...it is quite the castle."
"You get familiar with this place after a while, Sunset took time to get to know the castle during her time as my student then after she came back," she explained.
"I see...once I get familiar with something it is easy after that."
"That is good to know; just don't hesitate to ask the guard for directions or the castle staff," she advised placing her hand on my opposite side.
"I did not say enough earlier but I thank you for all this...and for being in my adopted world."
"You're welcome sweetheart, I couldn't wait to see you again so I visited you and spectated you doing what you loved; I could see you out there and you looked so happy, you have a beautiful twinkle in your eyes when you are excited about something," she said tenderly.
"Sort of like you," I remarked with a smirk.
"Really? I have been told that by others, I was not sure but I guess I do," she said returning a smirk.
"You do; you have a smile also others love to see and hate it when they do not, but that might be my description,"
"I like that; I would like to think my smile helps put ponies in a better mood," she mused.
"Or make them feel secure," I suggested.
"That is something I get for sure," she informed.
"I guess that is why that despite the pain and sadness I felt when I found out about my past and the the truth about my life I felt a little better when you spoke with me and just looking into your eyes despite what I said before and the issue I had when you visited," I said recalling.
"I am happy I could help; if it means anything, as I said it did not bring me any happiness to have your life turned upside down the way it did, to tell you your parents are not your parents and the family you came to know was never your own,"
"I never wanted pain and sadness for you David, please know that I had no intention for making your life a nightmare and a challenge, I wanted you to come into your new life with as little drama as possible, I am sorry it was easier said than done" she said emotionally.
With a painfully sad saddened expression and tears in her eyes building Celestia's mood definitely shifted, so I did what I could and pulled her side into mine as she had.
"I understand mom, I knew you did not want to cause chaos and pain, you did what you did out of love and you did not want to lose me and Sunset; you wanted a family to enjoy and enjoy that family in peace without the threat of a rogue group trying to overthrow you and Luna,"
"I love you mom and I respect you and the decisions you had to make, there are no easy decisions when parenting as a Princess of a nation and I should not expect any less from you," I said tenderly.
"Thank you David, thank you....I was unsure what you really thought about my actions....it warms my heart to know you love me and care for me, and understood why I did what I did; I love you David," she replied tears streaming down her cheek; just then Sunset came up and joined in our talk but said nothing but enter the mobile hug we had walking through the halls of the castle.
We were now finishing our tour by returning to the royal garden where drinks were served and small snacks.
"Today has been going wonderfully," Celestia chimed sipping on some iced tea.
"Indeed Tia, it has been a while since I have been as relaxed and entertained," Luna added in.
"Well that is good to know Luna, but I wonder why that is though?" Tia asked.
"Fear not Celestia, I have had relaxation just not as relaxing as this," she clarified.
"Ah understood," Celestia said.
"So how are you doing David?" Sunset asked.
"Doing good," I said.
"Nice," Sunset replied sipping some Lemonade that was there as well.
"Hey everypony!" a voice called out; everypony then looked to the source, and it was my step-dad.
"Hello Jesse!" Celestia said standing up to greet him.
"Hey Celestia, you doing good?"
"I'm great, glad you came here," Celestia said planting a kiss on Sterling's lips to which he returned it.
"Of course, also I wanted another chance to see David again."
"Don't worry about that, he'll be spending some time here."
"He is?"
"Yes he is," Celestia replied smiling.
"Well that's great! I am happy he will be here a while!"
"M-hmm, he also will be given a tour of Canterlot City, Ponyville, and Cloudsdale," she said walking him with her back to the group.
"Sounds good, but how will he do that as a human? Ponies will want to know why a random human is here."
"We have a solution for that worked out."
"Ah...so you have a disguise for him?"
"No David does," Celestia said giggling.
"How does he have a disguise?" Sterling asked looking perplexed.
"I will explain what Twilight said earlier to explain it to you," Celestia said getting a seat readied for Sterling.
"That's good; hey there David," Sterling said extending a hand.
"How are you dad?" I said shaking his hand.
"I am well, just finished my meeting with the new CEO; you see I was still running the Silver Mining Co. when I married your mother, but since I became a prince after marrying I had to hand over the company so to take up my new job as Prince of the Sun as what you become marrying Celestia," Sterling explained.
"Makes sense, who is your replacement?"
"He is an old and still best friend of mine named 'Joshua Silver-Vein'."
"Huh...I can guess that is where Josh got his name from?"
"It is, I named Josh after my friend."
"Sounds good...also are there other ponies with a sliver related name in your company?" I asked smirking.
"I thought you might ask that, no we have ponies with non-silver related names working; we have one with copper in his name and another with Quartz," Sterling explained laughing, Celestia was chuckling as well.
"Ah okay, that sounds good; I wonder why they are there though?" I asked still curious and perplexed.
"They are there for a second job."
"That makes sense."
"That and their parents have history in mining those minerals."
"Also makes sense," I chuckled.
"How was the party David?"
"It went well, great really; Celestia seemed to be enjoying it," I remarked getting an annoyed 'what are you implying?' expression in reply from Celestia.
"I can imagine; but I think that was enjoying having her foals back together and having additional family and friends around her," Sterling reasoned, getting a 'Aw thank you honey' expression from mom.
"I know that, I am just teasing," I said moving to give an apology hug to Celestia.
"Thank you dear," Celestia replied smiling gratefully.
The relaxing in the Garden went on for a while more before we decide to move on, soon the group split up and went about individual activities; Sunset and I were again alone and just socializing again.
"Quite a day huh?" Sunset asked.
"It was, I had a feeling I would have fun but this exceeded my expectations," I replied.
"I am glad that things exceeded your expectations; you know I said the same thing when I returned to Equestria."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I was not expected a large welcome from Twilight and her friends; mine and Celestia's reunion was more than I imagined, even though I wanted to know why she held information from me, yet I learned quickly why Celestia did what she did,"
"She sent you and I away as she said, for love of our lives and our safety," Sunset said reasoning the events.
"This was why she also hid my life's truth; how I acted, I would have acted worse than how I did, I had as I was no right to know that I was Celestia's daughter, I didn't deserve it back then," Sunset finished.
"Sounds about right, but like forgiveness from God no one deserves it but when Jesus made his sacrifice....new rules huh?"
"Amen to that; that and one other thing, my past is not today," Sunset replied smiling.
"True that; and I remember hearing 'you' say that."
"Oh yeah, I saw that; I sound good singing, and it sums it up pretty well," Sunset chuckled recalling the music vid. she knew I was mentioning.
"It does, it was funny how spiritual that song was."
"It is amusing, but perhaps not to weird," Sunset said with a wink.
"God does have his humor and subtlety."
"He does...you learn things quicker though I do not recommend it, you learn quickly from going to the dark-side."
"Really? Did you know fully the power of the Dark-Side? *deep muffled breathing*," I said cupping my mouth.
"Ah!~" Sunset said laughing in a 'oh a wise guy eh?' tone.
"I hoped I would make you laugh with that, as cheesy as it was."
"It was good; yeah once you delve into dark magic you learn the price you pay for it....I'm just lucky it wasn't my soul," Sunset said shivering and shuddering.
"Consider that a healthy heap of blessings in the form of 6 girls with one being like you," I said placing my hand on her opposite shoulder.
"Yeah I owe them, I owe Twilight; I after this time feel like I can't thank her enough for saving me."
"I believe she has accepted your gratitude enough by now."
"I know...but it's just because of how close to the edge I was..." Sunset said looking like she dodged death.
"Believe me I would most likely be like you on that as well."
"But I do see what you mean, once forgiven and you remain conscious about what you did wrong yet don't dwell on it, you're forgiven; that's that and move on with your life." Sunset said.
"Amen Sunset, Amen," I said hugging her fully, "I myself hope I can make peace with my human parents when the day comes and not lose my bond with them."
"As long as they love you, I feel peace has been made and already exists."
"That is what I am hoping, and I will try to believe."
"That is better than not trying at all," Sunset said resting her head on my shoulder.
"Very true sister, very true," I said resting my head on her shoulder.
After a while all the group reunited and now was time for dinner, after dinner had been served and enjoyed everypony went to their respective rooms for the night, eager to give me a proper tour of the intimate parts of Equestria that I would have a starting connection with when I move here to take my place as Heir-Apparent to Princess Celestia's throne, 'The Throne of the Sun'.
The next day everypony went about their morning routine before we were to meet in the Throne Room for the moment I am given my Equestria body back, even though it will not be my true body, it will serve me well enough as my disguise so I draw less to no attention as I enjoy my Equestrian Tour.
But before that, one thing needed to be done, it was lengthy but needed, the DNA testing I requested; as fast as possible Celestia and I alone had blood drawn and taken to be tested, the testing was done right there before me in the machine given to Equestria by the US, after tests being ran it confirmed once and for all, I was Celestia's son and Heir-Apparent, to the Solar Throne of Equestria.
After the lengthy test all 9 of us headed to the Throne Room to make my great physical change into my disguise, Sunset and I while walking together had a small talk on what I am to face with this moment approaching.
"You nervous David?" Sunset asked.
"A little...I am not sure how it will go," I replied shakily; I will admit this was another time in which I was....timid.
"I'm sure it should be fine...I promise not to laugh if that is what you are afraid of," Sunset chuckled.
"That is part of it," I stated looking though a little pale.
"Hey, you'll be okay; I know this is scary but you'll be fine, I promise," Sunset said tenderly nuzzling me.
"Thank you Sunset," I replied a little bit less timid.
"Welcome bro, it's okay to be a little nervous," she assured.
"Yes I know but have you planned this out to include a chance of harm?" I asked explaining my fear.
"No David, but it should be painless as me getting my wings," Sunset said almost killing my confidence with an awkward smile.
"That is comforting, I am pleased they thought ahead on what I thought would be an easy process," I said with sarcasm.
"Well you see David, since you have been human for over 20+ years, and had no exposure to magic, we want to make sure nothing adverse happens when you change form,"
"Ah crap....."
"But hey, this might be all speculations; it could perhaps good as smooth as changing clothes, of which we have your new clothes and someplace for you to change," Sunset reasoned trying to recover the mood of security.
"Thank you..." I said blushing at the idea of shifting causing me unwanted exposure.
"Oh relax will you? You should be flattered if we gawk, well...at least Twilight and her friends....mom, Aunt Luna, me, and dad would be awkward...." Sunset said trailing off looking now sympathetic toward me, "Don't worry, we'll make sure you are not embarrassed," she said comfortingly.
"Also good; thanks," I said feeling a little more confident; soon we arrived in the Throne Room and there was my Step-Dad as well, as mentioned.
"Hello David! Sleep well?" Sterling asked cheerfully.
"I did....I must say you would make a fortune and put mattress companies out of business when you sell those mattress' in our world" I replied.
"I am quite sure that may be the case but that is why I would be careful not to put others out of business," Sterling replied chuckling.
"Good; now then the issue at hand," I said moving into the room.
"Indeed; now David I assure you this shall be most simple and an easy task to transform you into your disguise, you shouldn't feel a thing" Luna said warmly.
"'Shouldn't'?" I replied nervously.
"Poor choice of words; I meant you will not feel anything unpleasant" Luna corrected.
"Luna dear? I have finished with clearing up your schedule for the time you requested," A voice said walking into the room, it was Nightshade, captain of Luna's guard and coltfriend.
"Thank you Nightshade beloved," Luna cooed gratefully.
"You're welcome; so this is your nephew David?"
"Indeed it is, he is now about to don a disguise so he can go on a small tour of Equestria, meaning the Capital, Ponyville, then Cloudsdale," Luna explained.
"Well then, a pleasure to meeting you your Majesty," he said bowing slightly.
"Likewise," I said extending a hand in reply to which Nightshade shook my hand.
"Sounds like an interesting plan of fun."
"It is, would you spare time to join us?" Luna asked in a admittedly cute begging way girlfriends I have seen so far employ.
"I would love to Luna, but I can't...there are things I cannot put on hold...perhaps something special to make up for it?"
"Oh...very well, I may have an idea on that," Luna said walking over to Nightshade.
"Oh? What is-..." Nightshade was about to ask what was Luna's idea when she leaned in and whispered; seeing him blush and clear his throat was an embarrassingly clear indication that Luna had a steamy idea for romance, in which the other's tried not to react to his surprised look.
"S-Sounds good," he nearly croaked out in surprise, Celestia stifled a chuckle in response but could not help but blush.
"See you when I return~," Luna chimed over her shoulder as she walked back to us.
"S-See you later," Nightshade replied before beating a hasty yet calm retreat from the room after bidding the rest of us farewell.
"Well that happened," Sterling remarked to break the silence of the room.
"Indeed...." Celestia said fighting off her internal embarrassed giggles, "Let us get to work, this requires me, Luna, Twilight, and the five Elements."
"Ready and waiting Princess," Rainbow said eagerly.
"Standing by Celestia," Twilight said readily.
"Prepared and primed," Luna replied.
"Very well, now then...before we start here are your new clothes David, you can change over there," Celestia said pointing to a screen used for dressing.
"Thank you," I said looking soldier like in my resolve as if putting on a uniform as I grabbed my clothes and made my way to change; the clothes upon putting them on though awkward due to there were individuals present was to my expectations a little loose, I expect them to fit when transformed; now with the threat of unwanted exposure removed I only worried about the transformation itself.
"Okay, let us get this done," I replied stepping out to the group, Rainbow giggled at my loose-fitting clothes but was silenced by Rarity with a jab from Rarity's elbow.
"Excellent!" Celestia beamed as soon they encircled me readying to caste the spell to change me; to be honest my stomach was hating me.
With Sterling and Sunset watching the rest charged their magic and it was a sight to see....though feeling uneasy I braced for it; soon the Elements were charged, next Celestia and Luna were primed and charged with all their eyes pure white, horns glowing along with their hands and the magic focused.
I felt myself rise as I guessed would happen rather than a magic beam appearing above my head to blast down upon me, soon I feel the magic lash on one 'rope' at a time with one 'rope' from Celestia, one from Luna, then 6 merge into one attaching to me; then I felt it working...it felt to be honest strange and slightly uncomfortable, then when the change began I shouted in pain once but the others kept their focus but I could see through tear choked eyes Sunset and Sterling looking on in concern as my skull shifted.
Next another change was made, a tail shot out and I grunted here; then a sharp pain in my head as a horn appeared with magic coursing through it and my body, the feeling was definitely alien and it would be interesting when I add wings to the mix when I take on my true body; soon after a few minutes of discomfort and pain the feelings left but were replaced by the awkward feel of a different anatomy.....soon the groups spell ended and their focus then went to me to see how it went...the results with rather striking!
"Oh wow...." Sunset said first.
"Whoa! You look....hot!" Rainbow remarked her wings spread in surprise.
"Well well well! You look dashing darling!" Rarity cooed looking me over.
"I agree...you look handsome my son," Celestia said walking over to see me; like before she place her hands on me and looked me over.
"Yer quite the stud there David," Aj purred making me blush at that.
"Gee thanks Aj...girls..." I said still blushing.
"If you were single I would be perhaps interested in you," Aj remarked in addition.
"I am flattered..."
"Not if I take him first," Rarity protested.
"Now now girls, let us calm down and back off," Twilight said coolly.
"Alright Twilight...just saying though...." Aj remarked.
"If he looks like this now, I can only imagine how he'll look as an Alicorn!" Rarity chirped.
"I am sure mares will flirt but mostly he will look handsome for his girlfriend," Celestia said finishing he examination.
"Very true...Jasmine will be benefiting from this for sure," Rarity said while she to my embarrassment scanned me again; the clothes she got me were a grey T-Shirt with blue jeans and black dressy shoes common for them and Tennis shoes were for humans.
In addition to address an obvious and let us be mature thank you on this, taking on the new anatomy meant changes to more private areas....oh this could be an embarrassment waiting to happen....well at least I will not disappoint! Ha-ha-ha....*groan* On a less awkward note I noticed something as well, I was taller being now '6-5" and in addition to which it was welcomed in all honesty, I was more built than my human body...I had now, muscle.
"Rarity~" Twilight said in a warning tone.
"Oh poo!" Rarity pouted snapping out of her scan of my body, chuckled internally here.
"Nice to know I have your attention without trying," I chuckled.
"I suppose..." Rarity said looking awkward.
"Anyways, so what are we waiting for? Let's get this tour of Equestria started!" Rainbow said enthusiastically.
"I agree!," Aj said.
"We have no haste to make everypony; we are not so much in a hurry to exhaust ourselves," Celestia said.
"That is for sure Celestia, now let's go," Twilight said; soon the group made their way from the room but Sunset and I trailed a bit to talk.
"You look pretty handsome bro," Sunset said playfully nudging me with her elbow and winking.
"I noticed..." I said looking off shyly.
"You okay?" she asked looking concerned.
"A little...you know at one point, I would have loved this attention...but get this, even then, I still would be shy about it..."
"Ah I see, I get it David," she said tenderly, "I cannot imagine what you think or feel, but I understand not wanting something even though I have asked or in my case...demanded it."
"That actually makes sense, and it helps," I said smiling a little cheerfully.
"I guess it falls perfectly under, 'Careful what you wish for' huh?"
"It sure does, I think this a perfect example as well...so, can you teach me too?"
"I would love to, your my brother, and a new friend; it would be my pleasure."
"Thank you, so much."
"You're welcome David; love you brother," Sunset said nuzzling me.
"Love you too sister."
Soon we were off, on our way to see the sights; Pinkie was already planning out her part of the tour, Applejack on her part, Rarity on hers after a talk with Twilight, and so on, it seems that things may be a little nutty but when with friends and family? That is a given no matter what.
