In the lobby of the hotel that team Crusaders were staying at Scootaloo was editing her deck.
“I will take this out too but this one in. That should help balance it out. No wait, on second thought.” said Scootaloo
Rarity came up to Scootaloo.

That night Applejack was waiting at the lobby of the hotel for Apple Bloom. AppleBloom entered the hotel.
“Apple Bloom, I was worried because you were out so late.” said Applejack
“Sorry, I just had something to do.” said Apple Bloom as she head to her room. Apple Bloom remembered the match. ‘I never thought Spike would lose. I thought he would battle Flip Side tomorrow, now I have to battle him.’ She walked over to the decks and brought out her cards and started editing her deck. ‘I’m going to put everything on the line tomorrow.’
In Flip Side’s offices.
Flip Side activated his Psyqualia. “I can’t wait to see you helpless before my power.” said Flip Side as he saw Apple Bloom scream in pain and then started to laugh.
The next morning. In the lobby of the hotel. Team Crusaders were getting ready to go when Scootaloo came running into the lobby.
“Didn’t I said to go to sleep.” said Rarity
“You see I wanted to look over my deck one more time before I went to sleep. Then I happen to find myself completely rebuild it. And by the time I was done it was the middle of the night.” said Scootaloo
“I wonder where Spike is?”
“I don’t think he is here or even coming.” said Apple Bloom
“Are you sure?” asked Sweetie Belle

“Well then we better get going. I guess it will gust be you three fighting.” said Rarity
“Why did Spike have to do this on such an important day?” asked Scootaloo as they rest left the hotel. On the way to the tournament stadium. “We are going to win this.”
“Yeah, lets all do our best and win this.” said Apple Bloom
“I’m sorry for causing trouble at the last nation tournament. I have to make up for that so count on me for winning my match.”

“But I haven’t forgiven myself yet. That is why I’m going to win.”

“Well this is the final round, and I have a feeling you have a score to settle as well.” said Rarity

They made it to the stadium. Ponies made it to there seats.
Scootaloo came out of the bathroom and ran to their dugout. Then run into somepony and fell to the floor.
“Watch where you are going.” said Scootaloo. Then she saw that she walked into Lightning Dust. ‘Thats Lightning Dust from team Asteroid.’
“Sorry about that, are you alright?” asked Lightning Dust as she helped Scootaloo up. “Spectator seating is over that way. Better hurry up its about to start.” she said as she pointed the other way that Scootaloo was heading.
“Lightning Dust what are you doing? It’s almost time.” said Sunset Shimmer
“I’m just helping a lost kid.” said lightning Dust as the left
“Lost kid! She didn’t even recognize me. That jurk! I’m a participant!” said Scootaloo in raged.
In the stands Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Snips and Snails took their seats.
“It is time for the final round of the vanguard nation tournament. The stadium is sold out with everypony here eagerly awaiting for the final battle.” announced Pinkie Pie
Spike went in to the stands to watch the fights.
Team Crusaders entered their dugout.
“I'm trickling with enticement” said Scootaloo
“That's trembling with excitement.” corrected Sweetie Belle
“Lets make this team Crusaders finest day.” said Rarity
They nodded their heads. Then both team Crusaders and team Asteroid left their dugouts.
“It looks like the teams have made there why on to the field, let’s start the final round of the Vanguard Nation Championship.” said Pinkie Pie as the crowed cheered. “The returning champions team Asteroid versus a promising team that’s making the second appearance here, team Crusaders. Let’s look at the pairings for this match. The first match pits Lightning Dust of team Asteroid versus Scootaloo of team Crusaders.”
“Wait it’s you.” said Lightning Dust
“This looks like it’s going to be an exciting fight.” said Fluttershy
“I’m sure it will. Moving on to the next match-up, the second match will be Sunset Shimmer versus Sweetie Belle.” said Pinkie Pie
“It looks like revenge match for Sweetie Belle.”
“And for the final match it’s Flip Side versus Apple Bloom. here it is the final round of the Vanguard National Tournament is about to begin.”
In the princess chambers.
“Are you anxious?” asked Cadence
“Of course this will decide who is the strongest cardfighter is.” said Luna
“I bet you want Apple Bloom to win. Celestia who do you hope will win Apple Bloom or Flip Side?”

“Now the first match begins. Lightning Dust looks like she is already ready. And her opponent Scootaloo is making her first appearance at the National Championship. How will she handle the pressure. What kind of fight are they going to show us?” announced Pinkie Pie

“Here I go. I ride Prisoner Beast. I activate Vermillion Gate keeper’s skill, soulcharge. Prisoner Beast attacks.”

“Drive trigger check. (no trigger)” Prisoner Beast went up and slashed Blaupanzer.
“Damage trigger check.(no trigger)”
“My turn is over.” ‘so Spike didn’t came.’
“I stand and draw! I ride….” Scootaloo notice that Lightning Dust wasn’t paying any attention to her. ‘What is with her she is not even looking at me.’ “Hey!” She said to get Lightning attention. “Remember you're fighting me so pay attention. I ride Blaukluger, and with Blaupanzer in the soul Blaukluger gains 1000 power. I call Screaming’ and Dancing Announcer, Shout and Street Bouncer.” An purple earth pony with a gun appeared. “I activate his skill to rest the two units I can draw a card. I call Death Army Lady and Death Army Guy. Supported by Army Guy, Army Lady attacks.” Army lady ran up and kicked Prisoner Beast. (no trigger) “Now Blaukluger attacks.”

“I don’t guard!”
“Drive trigger check.(no trigger)” Blaukluger slashed Prisoner Beast.

In the stands.
“All right she is on a roll.” said Diamond Tiara
“This is not like her.” said Rainbow Dash
“Yeah, by now she would have a launched a lot of attack even with grade zero’s.” said Silver Spoon
In the stadium.

I have to be careful against this deck.’ thought Scootaloo as she remembered what Lightning Dust did against Apple Bloom with Stil Vampir. ‘Apple Bloom lost to that ability. I won’t let her beat me with it. I have to gather my strongest units and get my hoof ready.’
