//------------------------------// // I Get Sent to a New World of Ponies with my Brother. // Story: Equestrian Demigod: Revisited // by KillerShadow 15 //------------------------------// I looked around me. All I saw was rolling green hills with cabins off to the left, a house in front of me, with the beach, strawberry fields and game courts to the right. This was home. This is Camp Half Blood. A home for Demigods like me. Kids whose parent is a god and the other is a mortal. I began to walk down the hill I stood atop of. My name is Logan, and I just came home for the first time in 15 long years with my half brother, and a few friends. “Logan! It’s good to see you again. Where’s Percy and the others? Are they ok?” I looked at the creature talking. “Hey! Chiron! How’s it going? How’s the tail?” Chiron swayed his tail before giving me a smile. “It’s doing fine, but how’d you know?” “Argus told me. Oh, here comes the Cavalry!” I turned around to see my half brother, Percy, and our friends Leo, Piper and Frank walking over the hill I had walked down moments before. “Percy! How are things with you guys?” I chuckled to myself as I walked away to my cabin. The walk was very refreshing as it gave me time to look around and admire the new additions to the camp. There were new cabins, new campers, and some new challenges to the obstacle course. When I finally made it inside my cabin, I took a look around. It was the same as Percy and I left it. The beds made, the keys to our cars on the key rack, the fountain in the corner gargling with warm water, and the white walls still held the ornamentary seashells. I set my bags down and held out my hand towards the fountain. Water began to flow away from it and towards my outstretched hand. When it hit my hand, it took the form of a sword hilt, but made of ice. It continued outward, forming the blade. The sword was four feet long, icy blue. The blade was double edged, and had a carving down one side. It was a scripture written in Greek; it translates to Storm Breaker, the blade’s name. The hilt of the blade was of the same color, but had what looked like pearls on the base. I swung the blade around a bit. “Logan? You in here bro?” I turned to see Percy walking into our cabin. “What’s up Percy?” “Chiron says that we need to head to Olympus to debrief Dad, Zeus and Artemis. You wanna drive?” I looked at my brother and gave a half hearted laugh. “Very funny. You’re driving. I ain’t driving another car after the last time.” Percy just laughed at that. “Good, I don’t want you behind the wheel of my Corvette again. That cost me 300 dollars to fix.” I nervously chuckled. “Ok, Ok. Lets get a move on. We don’t want to piss off Zeus any more than he already is.” "You got that right. Lets go." The drive was uneventful until we were driving near Central Park. "Logan, do you see that?!" Percy pulled over and pointed at a strange creature that I have never seen. A green, insect looking horse with wings and a horn and large, solid blue eyes. "What's going on? Did Dad create a new type of equine?" Percy looked at me. "We should go check it out." We hopped out and ran over to the park. "Logan, where'd it go?" We looked around and saw it dart into a tunnel. We ran after it, but it was gone. "Percy, what's that?" I pointed at a rip in a tree. A literal rip. The tree had a multi colored tear in the trunk. "I don't know Logan, but it can't be good. Come on, let's see if we can fix this." As we drew closer, it started emitting a strong pull. Moments later, I blacked out. I woke up after what seemed like minutes after I blacked out. I looked around to see a bright blue sky, a vibrant yellow sun, and the greenest, yet darkest, forest I've ever seen. "Percy!? Percy, where are ya?" I looked around and saw creepy looking faces carved into some trees. "Yeesh, I thought Hades' throne room was creepy, but this takes the cake." I continued to walk, but I was getting no where fast. "Sun is setting. Best make camp. I hope Percy is ok. The last thing that kid needs is to be left alone." I climbed up a tree and opened my bag. 'Rope. I need rope. Ah, here we go.' I fastened myself into the tree I was currently in before glancing up at the moon. "That's weird. Why is there a Unicorn silhouette in the moon? Where am I? Dad, Zeus, not even Ares will answer my prayers." Before I could dwell more on what was going on, I was asleep again. "Yeah, woo! This is Awesome!" I jumped out of the tree, slashing at my bindings as my sword formed in my hand instantaneously. I looked around in a defensive posture, waiting for what ever woke me up. I heard a whooshing sound above me, so I looked up. Flying high above me was a cyan blue pegasus with a rainbow colored mane. Snap I looked behind me to see a large bear walk into the clearing I was in, and it was not happy with me. It reared up to it's hind legs and roared and snapped it's jaws at me. I quickly looked around for a body of water that I could hide in. No such luck. But I did notice a 36oz bottle of water in the side pouch of my bag. Keeping my sword in between my and the beast, I made my way to the bag slowly. I only managed to get four steps away before it roared again and charged me. "Hey, over here!" I looked to my right to see the blue pegasus yelling at the bear. The bear turned and went after the equine. The winged creature was able to tick the bear off enough to make it leave, but there was a bone chilling growl. I raised my sword and made a mad dash for the bottle of water. Once I reached it, I unscrewed the top and poured it over myself, forming my Ice Armor. Not very effective, but strong enough to stop a swipe from a Nemean Lion. When The armor was fully formed, my worst nightmare walked out of the surrounding wood. A Hydra.
