//------------------------------// // Springing auditions...? ._. // Story: Purple Tears 2 // by Doukzor //------------------------------// "How long does it take to wake some pony up!?" Chica whined. "Look lass, were doing what we can" Foxy growled back. His attention was focused on Vincent, whom still seemed unconscious. The blood had stopped seeping through all of the rags, but even with that enhancement it didn`t seem to help him any. "I don`t really know what to do anymore" Freddy sighed. Goldy was still thinking along the lines of how he was attacked if he was a ghost. "Maybe he`s in another limbo version right now? Seemingly within consciousness?" he suggested, receiving a grunt from Bonnie. "Whatever that means, it doesn`t sound good" he pointed out. Goldy nodded. "It`s not". String Play had apparently decided to stay out all day, hunting for Springtrap. At least, hopefully so. Goldy put his hoof along Vincent`s neck. "Whelp, he`s still alive. But he`s been the exact same..." Vincent`s tail twitched. No pony noticed much, except Foxy and Goldy. "Is the lad waking up?!" Foxy beamed at the thought for some reason. "Possibly, but it`ll take a few minutes if so" Goldy replied. He perked up, suddenly remembering something. "Hey, uh, what about those two ponies? Are they gonna help?" he asked Foxy, whom sadly shook his head. "No, String Play scared `em off, lad". "Well, what did they say?" Goldy asked. "Something `bout not being able to help, really`s all". Goldy dropped down, his ears laid back. "Well that sucks. We could have used unicorn magic..." he stared out the hallway. Some thing caught his eye. Why was Twilight out there? He could see her talking to- Goldy`s face paled. "What is it?" Freddy asked. "U-uh... Not some pony we want helping us....". A tall white mare trotted towards them, all the character`s eyes looking at her. She bore a long horn and aviator wings, along with a golden necklace, crown, and shoes. She had an ever flowing ethereal mane of light green, blue, and pink. "Hello there, ponies, my name is-" the regal voice of the mare was cut off. "We know who you are, Celestia" Freddy replied flatly, earning a small glare from Celestia herself. She sighed and looked to see why Twilight had been so urgent for to come here. Her eyes shrunk. A limp purple body laid on the tile ground, shallow breaths emitting from it`s sides. No pony took to bowing in any way, only moving aside as Celestia grew closer to the red pool of dry blood. "W-why haven`t you took this pony to the hospital!?" Celestia asked hastily. "Well, no pony can see us in here, it`d be a spell" Foxy looked down. "By who? Gah, that`s no important. We need to get him-" "No. No Pony can see him, alright? It`s not only a spell, apparently certain ponies can see him" Freddy glared daringly at Celestia. "He`s right. Only, undead ponies- and I guess special ones, can see him" Goldy pitched in. Celestia hesitated, before letting out a defeated sigh. "Then let me see what I can do" she looked to Vincent. She charged a bit of golden magic, before closing her eyes to examine the world within her mind. It basically went like this; she could see Equestria through the spirit dimension. Why she did this? Whence her eyes opened, she was standing in the same spot as before, but everything around her was the color of her aura- Gold. Simple orbs flowed by, spirits of animals or small ancient horses almost unrelated to ponykind. She glanced around from where she stood, until she spotted a darker intertwining color withing her view. It was purple, and a bit black, considering how her magic conflicted it. Celestia proceeded to trot towards it. She stopped right behind it, the earth pony in front of her slouched down in a droopy sitting position. Celestia rose her wings out a bit, attempting to get the stallion`s attention. He didn`t budge. "Ahem-" Celestia hadn`t gotten his name- "Sir, you should know it`s dangerous to be in the spirit realm". "I know that" was all the purple aura of a stallion replied with. "Then let us go" Celestia awaited for him to get up. He didn`t. "Sir, your frie-" "First off, my name`s Vincent, and their not my friends!" Vincent spun around to face Celestia. His one black eye caught her off guard. "I`m sorry, Vincent. But you don`t want to die... Do you?" Celestia asked Vincent, whom only sighed. "I`m already dead" he slumped down. "No, your not. I can see your aura through mine. It means your still alive" Celestia assured him, in which he laughed silently too. "I was dead. He`s alive" Vincent replied with a cracked voice. "Wait, were? He? Whom are you talking about?" Celestia pressed onto this conversation. "Springtrap is alive, i`m his... Ghost" Vincent sighed, "He`s the real one". Celestia seemed to deadpan there. "Wait, you mean to say..." Before she could finish Vincent nodded. "How did you go back in time?!" Celestia was almost excited. "I d-don`t know. It just happened?" Vincent got up, looking around at the small fleeing orbs. "Hmm... Well, we must go. Vincent, you don`t want to die here, your friends will miss you". "Their not my friends. I have no friends" he spat, tears welling in his eyes. "How could you say that?! Their worried sick about you!" Celestia put out a wing, stopping Vincent from suddenly trying to flee. "T-they are?" Vincent stopped himself. "Yes, That crimson one seemed on the break of murder if you didn`t come back" Celestia smiled weakly. Vincent laughed a bit. "Heh, don`t say that" he began to trot over to his unconscious body. "Why not?" Celestia trotted after him. "Eh, just some incident that happened, say about, five years ago" he smirked at the deadpanning Celestia. She grumbled and ran after him, but not quick enough to catch him. His form flashed, and was then gone. "You little" cue actual cussing from Celestia. Vincent shot up, gasping for air. Freddy had to jump away to not get hit in the face, as the rest did so. Well, a crimson and metal hoof shot around Vincent`s neck, then hitting his shoulders in a tight squeeze. "I thought ye were gone!" Foxy whined as he choked Vincent. The purple stallion didn`t pull away though. He let Foxy almost kill him again. "Y-yeah..." Vincent`s ears went back as Celestia seemed to awaken from her standing slumber. "Bah! Your the one who killed th-" she was cut off. "Yeah, he killed us" Freddy smiled simply. Celestia`s left eye twitched. "Treason?" she suggested, pointing a hoof at Vincent. Foxy snarled at her, his sharp canine teeth poking out. "No, lass. He may of done it, but you lay a pretty little hoof on him and consider ye self dead" he shot her a daring glare. Celestia pulled her hoof back, clearly caught off guard by the defense of the crimson metal stallion. She tapped her chin with a hoof for a second. "Why do you all look like the robots came alive from Freddy Fazbears?" she asked after a moment or so. Chica giggled. "...Because we did?" she shrugged. "Wait, so you came back alive?! The missing children?!" Celestia gaped. Bonnie nodded, before sighing, "Even String Play...". "Whom is String Play?" Celestia questioned. "The one who brought us back" Goldy shivered. Celestia took notice of each ponies saddening faces, mostly being Vincent`s. He was looked down at his wound. "... I would like to meet this 'String Play'" Celestia stated firmly. A bland yellow blur shot through the crowd, toppling as it maneuvered around ponies. The fast moving pony almost tripped over a small filly, but was lucky enough to lift his back hooves just in time to go over the tiny brat. The tattered mane was only messier now, not getting any better as the stallion toppled over the steps to the backstage, hitting the ground with a loud thud. "I`m here! For the, " Huff, " auditions!" the pony gasped for air as he spoke. He slowly got up, brushing dust off of him. A sudden shadow formed on the floor in front of him. As the golden pony looked up, he was greeted with a yellow stallion, bearing a chipped horn and light brown hair. "Hello there!" the stallion held out a hoof to the golden green pony, whom shoved it away as he stood up. "You the manager here?" he asked in a half growl. "Why, yes! My name is Cognitio by the way" Cognitio put a hoof over the stallion`s shoulders, whom shoved it away yet again. "Look. I`m just here to audition" he said flatly. Cognitio smiled, a blank stare on his face. "Uh my name`s Vin- I mean Springtrap. Uh..." Springtrap stared at Cognitio`s empty face. He seemed to be humming the cup song... "Oh dear, well look at the time. You can either come in and try out with whatever a voice you have, or you can scram" Cognitio glared at Springtrap, whom in return jumped back at the changed tone in voice... And attitude. "I, uh, i`m trying out?" Springtrap shrugged. Cognitio regained a blank stare, before he slumped his shoulders. "Fiiiiine. Fritz, we have another auditioner...." with that a bland dark blue stallion rushed towards them, stopping right before he could hit the two. "I`m here!" Fritz gaped for air. He didn`t seem very athletic. Springtrap grunted. The eye-patch bearing stallion rung a hoof over his shoulders. "Sooooo, why are you auditioning?" Cognitio asked lightly, though he expected an answer. "That`s my business, not yours" Springtrap growled. "Oh, but it is my business!" Cognitio chuckled, "i`m the manager, and I need to know your not trying to kill any pony" he focused a stare on Springtrap. The golden green pony stepped back, away from him. "N-no, i`m not" he stammered, "I just can`t keep running, and I need a stationary spot that I can trust. One where I can check for the ponies whom want me dead. Is that good enough for you?" Springtrap snarled at the end. "I suppose that`s good enough for me" Cognitio studied String Play closely. "Follow Fritz, he`ll take you to the back room". Springtrap did as told, following the earth pony to a simple wooden door. "Here ya go" Fritz opened the door, in which they both trotted in. The room was a tiny, white space fit for a small daycare. A few empty seats stood in a corner of the room, facing a rather dark and shadowy area- probably where the auditioner would try out. "`K, so you just go to that spot, "Fritz pointed to the exact same shadowy area, "and i`ll judge ya". Springtrap sighed before trotting over. "I honestly don`t get why Cognitio wants you to audition though. Last group he had he just threw out onto the stage". "Kinda wish he`d done that this time" Springtrap grunted. "Meh, too bad" Fritz shrugged, "whenever your ready start. I`ll be the spectator". The golden Green stallion trotted over to the shadowed spot. "I guess there`s no reason to wait". Springtrap thought for a second. "You have any Dubstep without vocals?" he asked, in which Fritz nodded. "Yeah, let me play one," the blue stallion stopped, "Uh, which one?". "Random". "`K".
