//------------------------------// // Chapter 66: Finalizing Time Together // Story: Saiyan of Equestria // by Boyzilla //------------------------------// Tournament Saga Chapter 66: Finalizing Time Together "Achoo!" A little girl sneezed loudly. "Bless you nee-chan!" A identical looking boy responded. "Excuse you," A orange furred minotaur child said. Kira Altarmore Heartstrings rubbed her scarred, cute, tiny nose, "Ugh, that strung a little bit... Anyway, are you guys excited for my match?! I'm going to beat Scorpan up so good he'll forfeit ten seconds in!" Copper Will gave a confused expression, "But if you finish the battle in ten seconds, then there's not much to be excited about is there?" "Well- Um... Huh... Guess you're right, Copper-san." Kira said with a thoughtful look. Ken tapped a finger on his cheek, "I don't think you could beat him in ten seconds anyway, Scorpan is kinda strong. So it may take at least twenty seconds." He said. The minotaur looked to both of the Twins, "Wha... What's with you two and wanting to beat him in seconds? It's going to take hours to defeat him!" He exclaimed. "I think I can go Super Saiyan though, that battle with Colrath gave me a lot of experience in transforming! I already could almost transform willingly before, so now should be a piece of cake!" The little munchkin proclaimed, Kira looked around a bit for her opponent but didn't spot him within the Tournament Fighter's Area. "Sure... And I can use my ability to change into the densest metal of the universe..." Copper Will said sarcastically. "You can? That's so cool!" Ken exclaimed, tail wiggling behind him joyfully. "No you dolt! I was being sarcastic!" He retorted. Kira turned her attention back to her twin brother and friend, "Ken's not a dolt you baka!" "Ba-wha..." Copper trailed off. "Baka! Baka! Baka!" Kira continuously said while flailing her arms up and down. Ken grew a mischievous smile on his face, "Copper and Kira sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I-" *WHAM!* "Baka nii-san!" Kira yelled, her fist steaming as Ken lay on the floor with a bump on his head. Copper Will had his hand rubbing his forehead, before bending down to the laying Ken, "Congratulations Ken, you felt a female's scorn... Why don't you describe to whatever gods how you feel like?" "Ugh..." The minotaur stood back up, "Sounds about right." "I'm so sorry..." Ken, Kira, and Copper, all enjoyed themselves for the next half hour, the fight beginning soon and the half saiyan girl was quite eager in showing Scorpan what she could do. But before the fight could begin, they were about to have some unexpected guests. These certain figures were the political leaders of their nations attending the Four Border Tournament. "Oh... Crap baskets." Copper Will said. 'Oh, he says that too.' Ken shrugged, "It's just the Princesses." He said casually. Kira looked to her twin, "Just the Princesses, nii-san have you forgotten they lead all of Equestria!" "Not to mention practically are the diplomatic leaders of the world!" Copper added on to the half saiyan girl's proclamation. Ken tilted his head, before a imaginary light bulb flashed above his head, "And they're coming here!? We're just kids!" "With practically super powers on your disposal," Copper Will stated. "Isn't your metal skin changer a super power then?" Kira questioned. Ken calmed and turned to Kira and Copper, "By that logic, everyone has super powers cause everyone has magic." "I- Uh- Huh... Guess you're right about that..." Copper Will trailed off, shocked on how logically thinking that was. Walking toward them, and then stopping just in front of the three children whom all bowed right then in there to the national leaders attending the Four Border Tournament. These leaders consists of the raiser of the sun, Princess Celestia, the lunar riser, Princess Luna, along with newly crowned Princess Cadance of the Crystal Empire. Besides the Equestrian ponies, stood a regal looking Griffin and warrior-like, but seemingly sophisticated, humanoid dragon. Ken opened his mouth to comment, only to be interrupted. 'Don't you dare make a comment about how they look, they're national leaders, how about you try not to get in trouble?' 'Good point...' Ken thought. The Twins and Copper Will bowed down to the world leaders in front of them, Celestia similed at them, and began speaking in her regal, yet motherly, tone. "Rise, little ones." She said, the children martial artists standing upright carefree. The raiser of the sun looked toward the half saiyan heroine, "How do you feel, Kira?" Celestia asked. Kira raised her head in slight shock that Celestia knew her name, but then vaguely recalled they had met before. "I feel okay, just fine, really!" Kira exclaimed in slight nervousness. "Be at ease, little Kira," The pink Alicorn, Cadance said. "We came here to see if you were okay. " The Griffin leader decided to speak, "And to ask a few questions, but I except the humans' mother would be better to ask?" He questioned, looking toward the other rulers. Luna spoke, her tone now modern, speech having been perfected, "Lyra would be glad to answer your questions in place of her children." Celestia nodded, "My sister is right, my little pony would be more than happy too." "Pony?" The Dragon King said with a curious expression, "So they are adopted? Any clue to the whereabouts of their birth parents?" Ken and Kira had to resist frowning to the small reminder of their true birth parents, but they quickly smiled with the knowledge that the Z-fighter, Chris Dell, is now technically their genetic father. "None," Celestia answered him, "Though they don't seem to mind, they are living happy lives with Lyra." The other leaders accepted the answer easily, clearly they dealt with similar situations in their lifetime as rulers. Though perhaps not of a different species, but more of their own subjects. "Before we head off in search of their mother however," The Dragon King said, now looking at our Twin heroes, "I must ask, what exactly was the transformation that... Kira, used?" He questioned, pausing only to remember the munchkin girl's name. "Super Saiyan form," Kira answered without thinking. 'Oh boy!' Ken thought. 'Dang it, he's going to ask about it! Where's a nueralyzer when you need one?' Chris exclaimed. The Griffin leader's eyes narrowed in thought, before he asked, "What is the meaning of the word, Saiyan?" 'Ken, say it means warrior in our language.' "Warrior!" Ken exclaimed, causing the rulers to look from his sister towards him. It felt like they were burrowing into his soul with those political eyes! "Saiyan just means warrior in our language." "Super warrior... I assume it greatly enhances your physical attributes?" The Twins nodded in unison, both the Dragon King and Griffin leader were satisfied by this information, knowing that they wouldn't get most information from the children, but from their guardian instead. Copper Will, whom was unusually quiet, finally gathered the courage to speak, "Great leaders, why do you have such interest in Ken and Kira?" "They have grown quite powerful when they are so young," Luna answered kindly, "Although not as strong as other individuals we have of-" "Like yourselves," The Dragon King commented, a smirk plastered on his reptilian face. "It is surprising and interesting how they managed to gain so much strength so quickly." Luna finished, a slight glare at the Dragon King who merely continued smirking in triumph. Cadance spoke once again, "I wonder how they would fair against Wushu?" 'Huh? Wushu?' Ken thought in confusion. 'Wonder who that is...' Kira trailed off in her mind. "That old dog?" The Griffin replied, "I'm surprised he hasn't hit the grave yet. I had a conversation with him the other day, time has not been kind to that fur of his, I'll tell you that." "Let us head off to converse with Lyra," Luna suggested, the other leaders agreed as the rulers left the Fighter's Area to seek out our heroes' adoptive parents. Ken, Kira, and Copper Will stood there for a full minute as they watched them leave, before breaking into a outburst of conversation. "Who's Wushu?" Ken questioned. "I don't know," Copper Will stated. "I've only heard that name just now, but from what we've heard so far he sounds like a old geezer." "Hehe," Kira giggled. "Maybe he's that extra fighter we had to face after beating Scorpan?" Ken and Copper will gave thoughtful expressions, before Ken said, "Maybe... Doesn't sound strong." Copper shrugged, "You never know, sounds like he is a Diamond Dog though." "We saw one of them before in the beginning of the Tournament, right?" Ken asked. "Uh huh," Kira answered, "That guy got beat by Scorpan super easy." The minotaur child turned to the half saiyan girl, "When does your match start?" He questioned her. Kira tilted her head, bobbing it side to side as she tried to remember, she glanced towards the clock on top the wall, and then replied to her newest friend, "In twenty more minutes, I think they are finishing up repairing the ring from my last fight." Ken ran up toward the Fighter Viewing area, looking over the small wall, he spotted the Four Border Tournament employees indeed completely the repairs as tiles were placed back into place and the crater outside the ring filled up with dirt. He turned around, walking back to his twin sister and friend. "Yeah, nee-chan's right." He started, "They're finishing it up right now. Hardly looks like a battle happened at all!" Ken exclaimed. The Twin's friend, Copper, said, "Be careful with Scorpan, alright? Ken and I don't want you in that medical room again half dead." Kira grinned sheepishly, "Don't worry Copper-san, I got this!" She exclaimed, giving a thumbs up. "No more Kaio-Ken over two, nee-chan," Ken said. "Huh? But why? My limit is five, remember?" Kira questioned in shock. "Dad doesn't want you stressing your body again, and don't do it in Super Saiyan form either, " Ken explained. "Pfft, it's not like I'm doing a Super Kaio-ken or something... Though I wonder if that exists..." She seemed thoughtful for a second, "But okay, if daddy says so, I guess I won't." Copper Will seemed a bit lost, "Who's you're father? I haven't seen him, only your mom," He said. Ken and Kira looked to each other, before Ken answered, "Well, it's kinda a secret... Like a really important one." That only seemed to cause more confusion, "Why is it such a secret? He's your father right? What kind of pony is he?" "He's not a pony, he's like us." Kira answered. His eyes widened, "Really? Then he taught you everything I assume... Wow, he must be incredibly powerful, when can I meet him?" "That's the thing, nobody can't... Only Ken can." Kira stated, seeming to be a little saddened that she can even see her own father. "He's sealed in me, why you think I healed so fast after Scorpan? And how I got super tough towards the end of the battle?" Ken said. "Whoa... So that was your dad doing all that? By the gods, he would destroy me in a sparring match..." Copper Will stated, "Sealed... Well, I'll stop asking right there till we know each other more, alright?" "Thanks," Ken and Kira replied in unison. "Attention, viewers of the Four Border Tournament! The Final match is about to begin! The winner of whom will receive the prize money and challenge the reigning champion!" The familiar voice of the Announcer... announced. "And don't worry folks, young Kira had already made a full recovery! She's ready for action and Scorpan might find it hard pressed to match blow to blow with that energetic youngster! Will both Scorpan and Kira head towards the ring at this time! The match will start momentary!" "Good luck, nee-chan!" Ken said as he and Copper walked with her until the viewing area for Fighters. "Kick his rear to the curve, Kira." Copper Will said with a grin. Kira smiled back, "He won't know what hit him!" She yelled, before running out into the ring, ready to face her toughest opponent yet.
