Purple Tears 2

by Doukzor

Offended and welcomed...

"C`mon! For the 50th time, it`s not a trap!" Vincent shouted at Freddy, whom kept his glare.

"Look, purple, i`m not going. You`ve proven other ponies can`t see you, which means your a ghost. But that doesn`t make me trust you!" he snarled.
Vincent stepped closer.

"That red pirate one sent me, and if I don`t come back with you, i`m as good as gone!" he pointed a hoof in Freddy`s face.
The brown stallion perked up.

"You mean Foxy, why would he send YOU?!".
Vincent completed a mental face-palm.

"I don`t know. Just come on, okay? You can freaking kill me if I lead you to a trap" he let out a hoof to Freddy. The brown pony grunted. He pushed Vincent`s hoof down, and walked past him.

"... Fine, where is he then?". With a slight smile, Vincent trotted ahead of him.

"Follow me".

"Ugh! Where`s Vincent?!" Foxy growled furiously, " I should`ve known the lad would betray us!".
String Play eyed Foxy, muttering something.
The ears of the fox pony twitched in his direction.

"Aye? Couldn`t hear ye there" he said, cocking his head to one side. The puppet pony grunted.

"You were stupid to let a murderer go" he sighed. Foxy shot him a glare.

"Lad, I know that. No need to repeat it" he stated firmly. The stallion in front of him smiled.
And then stepped forth.

Chica nudged Bonnie, whom looked over. Both ears dropped at the sight.

"It`s true though. It was a move only an idiot would do!" String Play explained lightly, as if TRYING to pry Foxy into anger.

"Aye! Stop it, I know that!" the crimson coated stallion shot back, as String Play only got closer.

Foxy stepped back, though was automatically met with a gray wall.

"You know, Freddy`s probably dead right now" String Play closed his eyes. A small smile was plastered on his face, but he put it down, resuming the act.
Foxy only stepped to the side, but was stopped by some... Force.
The tip of his back tail was coated in a black aura.

"Er... Let me go!" he growled.

"Vincent probably led him to Springtrap" String Play only continued.

"S-Shut up!" Foxy retorted, though it was no use.
String Play got close enough to just barely whisper in the crimson pony`s ear.

"Your a failure".
That was when Foxy snapped.

He turned around and lunged at String Play, landing on him.
He bit down on String Play`s arm, causing the stallion to release a slight scream. String Play whipped his head around so he could get a look at the magic around Foxy`s tail, only for a metal claw to come down on his left eye.

"Ah!" String Play cried out. He closed his eyes shut, do matter how much it hurt with the scratch. The crimson fox was suddenly off of him.
A loud thud was heard on the wall, and then a bit of whimpering.

String Play got up, slightly opening his right eye.
Foxy was getting up, his stance more weak than fierce.

He eyed String Play, and all breaths from each pony were held in.
But the fox didn`t attack, instead looking away. He began to pad away.

"A-are you okay?!" Chica asked worriedly as she ran over to String Play.

"I t-think so, he just..." String Play looked at the retreating pony. Foxy trotted over to a small wall that hung out near a door, only stopping to slump down against it.
Chica glared at the crimson stallion, Bonnie joining in slightly.

Goldy was the only one with sympathy in his eyes.

"W-why would he attack you anyways? F-Freddy may be dead..." Chica looked down, he thoughts causing tears to cloud her eyes.
String Play nudged her.

"Hey, we have a mission. If Freddy`s alive, he`ll meet us eventually, okay?" String Play had a look of firmness in his eyes, scaring Chica into saying "okay".

"Good. I came up with a plan, actually" String Play looked to the two ponies in front of him.
Bonnie stepped away, leaving Chica left.

"Well then... Listen close".

"C-c`mon, we need to hurry!" Vincent glanced around the crowd of ponies. Freddy was close behind, soon catching up to the purple one in front of him.

"Stay close, I REALLY don`t want to come back empty hoofed" Vincent sighed, before dashing off. Freddy leaped behind him, following a bit back, just in case this was all a set-up.

"Are we almost there?" he asked, eying the pony beside him. Vincent only nodded, before dodging a group of ponies. Freddy did the same, side-stepping and continuing to follow Vincent.

The purple stallion turned off to the right suddenly.
Freddy skidded to a halt, before trotting on to the stopped pony.

In front of him, Bonnie, Chica, String Play stood, while Goldy was laying down.
He glanced around for Foxy real quick, before spotting him a bit a ways away, laying down behind a wall. The brown stallion decided to ignore that for now, instead rushing over to the other ponies.

"I`m here! late, I suppose, but still here!" he chimed as String Play greeted him with a hoof shake.\
Goldy looked up and smiled weakly.

"Now, uh, what was the important thing going on?" Freddy asked.
String Play motioned his eyes over to Goldy, whom waved slightly.

Freddy now saw the bloody rags strewn about, along with a large loosely strewn stitch across Goldy`s back.

"W-what happened?!" Freddy stammered. He knelt down beside his downed brother. Goldy only shook his head.

"I`m okay... Had a little, say, run in with Springtrap" he smiled, but only got a scolding stare from Freddy.
Goldy`s ears laid back a bit.

"Well... heh, um..." the golden stallion stammered. Freddy sighed.

"Why- no, how- did you get yourself in this situation?" he asked hurriedly. Goldy smiled again, though it was a bit cracked.

"Well... Let`s not worry a-about that now, dear" Goldy said as he glanced over at Foxy, whom seemed motionless.
His smiled faded partially, as he tried to stand up.

String Play and Chica suddenly took notice, bounding forward.

They both yelled, "No!" as the golden stallion stood straight up, his legs a bit shaky.
Freddy only watched.

"H-hey, i`m not paralyzed, you two" Goldy glared playfully at the two seemingly over worried ponies.
Chica laughed nervously, before stepping back- String Play only sighing.

Golden looked around as he stood.
Chica smiled with relief, before looking to the purple stallion at the entrance to the hallway.
She whispered something to String Play, whom also looked.

Vincent stepped back slightly.

"Why are you looking at me?" he asked a bit worriedly. Chica laughed slightly.

"I suppose your with us until we get Springtrap" she laughed, poking him. Even as a ghost, Vincent could some how still be interacted with by the characters in front of him, mostly due to being undead somehow.

"Uh..." he stepped forward. Freddy smiled as Chica nudged the stallion into the hallway.

"Hey, were after a different murderer, well not really, but still! You can`t kill any pony in this form as Foxy told me, so I think were good!" she yipped. Vincent sighed in annoyance.

String Play eyed him slightly, but kept a light smile on his face.

"Wait... Your just gonna be nice to me? What the heck?" Was all Vincent could think to say. Chica let out a muffled laugh, while Bonnie covered his face to hide a smile.

"Eh... Okay then..." the purple stallion sighed, face-hoofing himself.

Goldy laughed slightly, but kept it down, while Freddy only smiled a bit.
String Play continued on with his plan, now keying Freddy in along with Chica.

Vincent sat for a few minutes, almost as still as possible.
(Probably mastered from awaiting children to be unaware of his unmoving presence. You`d know why).

His mind was all over the place, strewn across into different pieces of his brain.
His thoughts were racing from the longing want to kill, to why-the-heck-he-was-just-accepted-by-these-ponies, to... Foxy.
The crimson stallion had just been... Laying there, behind a small wall.

"I... I`ll be right back" was all Vincent said as he got up to trot over to Foxy.
Goldy watched him the whole way, just to be on the safe side.

"H-hey..." Vincent smiled slightly as he came up to Foxy, whom just had a distant stare.
The stallion didn`t even acknowledge the purple killer`s presence.

"Foxy?" Vincent asked.
No answer.

So, the purple stallion sat beside him, of course there was no wall for him to lean against.
He nudged Foxy, whom barely moved at all.

"Hey, look, what`s wrong?" he asked.
Foxy let out a sigh, and Vincent just now noticed his clouded eyes.

"It be nothin`" the crimson pony stated, his voice cracked a bit.

"Yeah... That`s not convincing at all" Vincent teased, poking Foxy in his side, " c`mon, what`s wrong?".

"I said it be nothin`. Yer better off leavin` me `lone".
Vincent stared for a second, thinking about what to say.

He`d never tried to actually make any pony, say, feel better, after all.

"Foxy, tell me what`s wrong" he stated firmly. That was the way to go, right? With a mental face-hoof, Vincent awaited an answer.

"Yer not leavin` tell I tell ye, are ye?" Foxy guessed, and Vincent nodded, smiling a bit.

"Eh, fine" the fox-pony sighed.

"It`s nothin`, really, just..." Foxy started his sentence, but regained a blank stare. Vincent poked him, making Foxy snap back into reality.
His stare continued, but he seemed to be thinking.

"I`m a failure" he whimpered.
Vincent stared at him, confused.

"Your all down and such, because you think your a failure?!" Vincent deadpanned.

"I don`t just think it, I know it, Vincent".

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"String Play even said it... I could`ve gotten Freddy killed... I am a failure". Vincent retorted.

"No your not! With the threat you gave me, as if i`d try and help myself kill Freddy!" he teased Foxy, who know had a small smile on his face.

"Thank ye, lad, but I still believe it. I attacked String Play outta foolish rage" Foxy growled lightly.
Vincent remembered the slightly bloody scar across String Play`s left eye, three pink-ish red lines.

"So what? I`m sure you had a reason, just let it go for now, alright? You guys have a murderer to catch" Vincent smiled, actually happy Foxy had used the term lad. Really, he was.

Foxy looked up, smiling more now.

"I suppose, lad. It`s just..." he regained a small stare, though his eyes weren`t as clouded.

"Hey, you may be a bit timid, but your not a failure. Let`s go, captain!" Vincent smiled a bit more as Foxy got up.

"Thanks, it means a lot, Vincent" Foxy said, as the two began to trot back to the group.
