//------------------------------// // Awakening // Story: Purple Tears 2 // by Doukzor //------------------------------// A crescent moon brought the palest of light down upon Ponyville. Though most of that light was broken by dark clouds. Crashes of sound were heard around the environment, defining booms accompanied by white streaks of light. The light would flash and leave, though the sound stayed, reverberating in the ears of ponies. A large storm had been swirling about for hours just past midnight. It wasn`t very important, as the weather ponies had it taken care of, careful only to let it rouse so much before kicking it back into place. In Freddy Fazbear`s Pizza, no employees stood, not even a night guard. The last one had... Been removed of work not long ago, and no pony had volunteered to take the place. One pony, though, was currently standing in front of the stage. He was all black, save for three white stripes on each leg. Also very tall, he stood higher than Bic Macintosh, yet he was still thin, much like a weather pony. Though no wings or horn adorned him. The stallion glared at the stage, his eyes locked on each animatronical being. They were shut-down, even though it was past midnight. On any normal night, (or morning), the three would be roaming around the pizzeria, there intentions unknown. Foxy would even occasionally come out, though not much, considering he was turned-off all day anyways. The pony in front of the stage was barely see-able, his black pelt blending in with the shadows of the pizzeria. His eyes were the only glowing dots in the room, white spheres no bigger than a quarter. A small growl emitted from him, low yet light. "Wake up". He stomped a hoof, and the three animatronics in front of him were engulfed in a small mist of dark purple. It vanished within seconds, leaving white dots staring at him in return. They stood still, about as life-less as before, save for the eyes. The stallion turned around to face the pirate`s cove. He made his way to the purple curtains without any disruptions from the dark, and growled something under his breath. With a turn of tail he was in the middle of the dining room. Slowly, three white mists seeped out of the three robots on stage, all tinted with different colors. One brown, then yellow, and the other purple. A red tinted mist came out of pirate`s cove. The three small swirls made there way to the stallion, before stopping. Said stallion stomped his hoof to the ground again, shadowy wisps slithering out as he hit the tiled floor. The mists all ran into the ground. They made no noise, but instead a larger shape appeared out of each mist. They all represented a white silhouette. Slowly, each silhouette disappeared, resembling a pony. In the middle of the first three, a brown stallion rose to his hooves, breaths hallow. He was shaky, but soon straightened out. To a degree, he looked exactly like Freddy Fazbear, save for no metal between his limbs, and a more- natural posture. He bore a small top hat that pushed against his left ear. The pony to his right stumbled onto her hooves. Her hair was longer than Chica`s, but still had the ending curls. She breathed in air, almost stumbling onto her stomach again. The furthest left one appeared, though he seemed perfectly fine as he rose from a crouched position. A rich purple coat adorned his body, though thankfully no bunny ears ran on top of his head. A red bow tie dotted his chest, much like the brown one`s. A necklace with a small chain reading 'LET`S EAT!!!' adorned the yellow mare`s neck. Finally, the red tinted mist lost it`s silhouette, forming a deep red colored stallion, whom gasped for air before getting to his hooves. His neck was a lighter shade of red, which stretched to his stomach, before stopping. Two fanged teeth adorned his top lip, and an eye-patch covered his left eye. He was, say, furrier than the other three, and his hair was brought down into a ponytail, the darker crimson shade tied by a cyan tie. His tail was long, but curved about a foot or so off the ground. His left leg was torn of it`s fur at the knee, revealing a metallic hoof that ended in a slight claw. His back legs lost their fur and became metallic just below the bend of the thigh. His cutie mark was the symbol of a fox, though it was covered up a by a torn cape, which was brown. The collar wrapped around his neck, and the cape part itself only really covered his back and upper thighs. His eyes were yellow, though thick slits served as the pupils, half-pony, half-fox. "Gah!" the red one gasped for air. "Wait, did you-" The yellow one stopped her sentence once the black stallion in front of them nodded. "Yes. I did" he stated flatly. His head twisted, as if looking for another pony. The brown one stepped forward. "String Play, you wouldn`t have done this without reason..." he said, concern flooding his voice. String Play sighed. "There`s a reason..." he looked towards the parts and service room, "I promise i`ll tell you, but, were missing some pony" he began trotting towards the backstage door. Twilight awoke with a start. She leaped from her bed, her breaths shallow. Her wing feathers ruffled with anticipation, and her tail swished back and forth with fear. "W-What was that?!" Twilight stammered. Her sides heaved for air. "That, Twilight, was a vision" a deep royal voice filled the bedroom Twilight stood in. "L-Luna?!" She gasped, twisting her head to search for the princess. A figure appeared through on the balcony, large dark blue wings spread out as the pony descended onto the crystal floor. "It is me, Twilight" Luna said as she tucked in her wings. The lunar princess continued to walk in, her blue ethereal mane twinkling with stars. "I had a v-vision, you said?" The purple alicorn asked. Luna nodded solemnly. "Yes". "It was such a nightmare... I thought you generated our dreams!" Twilight sighed, her ears laid back. "Twilight, that is only with some dreams. Sadly, I do not know the source of the vision you had" Luna lowered her head in defeat. "That`s... Scary. What do you think this dream meant?" Twilight asked, her voice filling with confusion more than fear now. "Well, I did not see the whole dream. Tell me what was in your vision" Luna ordered softly. Twilight could only nod. "W-well, I saw a glass door, and fuzzy shapes inside. There were four colors, a brown, yellow, purple, and red. They seemed smudged, more like mists. And they gathered in one spot, around a black figure. It looked like a pony, but everything was a blur. I can`t remember the rest..." Twilight grabbed her head with a hoof, pain throbbing at the sudden struggle. Luna put a hoof on her shoulder. "It is okay, Twilight. Do not strain yourself" Luna assured the purple alicorn, whom released the grip slowly. "Ow... Do you know what the v-vision might`ve meant?" Twilight asked. Luna thought for a moment, before shaking her head. "No, dear Twilight, but I thought you had a nightmare..." she raised an eyebrow at Twilight. The alicorn laid her ears back as she thought back to the dream. "Well, I did. So that means there was another part I can`t remember?" she asked Luna, whom nodded. "Yes. Sadly, though, since I cannot sense the source of your dream, I won`t be able to find out the rest of the dream, much less what it meant" Luna let out a long sigh. Twilight back up a little, as the lunar princess rose her wings. "I must be going, I have other dreams I must walk about tonight" Luna smiled softly. "Well, goodnight, Luna. I,uh, won`t be dreaming tonight" Twilight began to head out of her bedroom, only stopping to watch Luna fly off, her wings gracefully pushing the wind to her whim. With a sigh, Twilight continued out of her room. "It`s gonna be a long night..." she sighed. "So he`s back" A golden stallion sighed. "Yes, sadly. I don`t know how he got a hold of my magic, but he did. And he used it to get out" the black pony in front of him, String Play, sighed. "Well, if he used it, then does that mean any other ponies used it?" The brown stallion asked, waving his hoof at the pizzeria they all stood in. "That would be highly doubtful, brother" the golden one said, his voice smooth and cunning. The brown one grunted. "But it`s still possible then" he replied. String Play could only nod. "Yes, but, on a better note" The yellow mare beside String Play began, " were... Alive. That`s a, start. A rather GOOD start" she fiddled with her hair. The purple one-face hoofed. "Right, though it may be, it`s not in my greater liking that Vinc- Springtrap is too" he sighed, his head slumping to the table. "Correct, and we need to stop him" String Play nodded. "But how?" the red one perked up. String Play levitated a familiar knife up to his snout. "With this".
