One year before
It was a beautiful day on Ponyville, there were all kinds of ponies, Applejack was selling goods in her stall, Pinkie was walking down the street and singing about 'how good is this day', Rarity was designing a new outfits for customers, Rainbow Dash was practicing new stunts, Twilight has a "re-sefing day" with Spike's help and Fluttershy went shopping meals for animals. Everything was perfect by the time when Pinkie's tail start to twitch, at the last time she dodged a 'rainbow-colored' bullet that shot from the sky. When she looked what was that she saw her spectrum friend.
"OH MY GOSH, Rainbow says something!" demanded Pinkie when she started to shake with Rainbow, Rainbow knock her hooves off.
"Knock it off Pinkie! I'm fine." say Rainbow sign of annoy "I had worse." she was about to fly away, but she was stopped by deep pain around the wing. Rainbow pained cries. "Aggghhh, Darn it! What's happening?!" she tried again fly, but another pain came to her wing. She shouts again.
Pinkie giggled and says "Looks like Rainbow broke her wing, again. Come on Dashie, TO THE HOSPITAL" she shouted, dragged Dash and run towards the hospital.
When Rainbow recovered from what happened, she was standing on the front of the hospital, she lowers her ears and say, "Not this again, Why? Look Pinkie, it's not broken" when she flapped with wing, it was painful for her, but she pushed it pain back and smiled at Pinkie.
Pinkie insert hoof to her pink mane and pulls of... an X-ray? Anyway, It was X-ray of Rainbow's wing, Rainbow just stared, confused.
Pinkie point of her wing and say, "I think it is, I'm sorry Dashie, but I'll do a 'Heal-Faster-Rainbow' party!"
Dash looked confused, "When did you... You know what? Never mind." then entered a hospital with Pinkie behind her.
It was a small hospital, with few ponies roamed around, almost all of them have health issues, Pinkie and Rainbow make their way to the desk, behind it was a white pony with a cutie mark what looks like red cross. The mare's name was Redheard, she was a Nurse behind the desk.
"Good morning, how can I help you?" say a melody voice of Nurse Redheart.
Pinkie started, "I was walking around town, when my tail start twitching, I was like 'Something is going to Fall! Something is going to Fall!' then I saw Dashie tha-" when she stopped, she looks at her mount, she saw a cyan hoof, then looks up and saw Rainbow.
"I fell and broke my wing," said Rainbow simply. Then put out her hoof from Pinkie's mount.
"Again? Well, let's look at it..." Nurse said and starts walking to a Room with white doors with 14. number on it. She opened doors. There was a bed with a white blanket on it a doctor's tools and some other stuff. Pinkie stayed outside, about 15 minutes, doors creak open and Rainbow with a sad face and the bandage over her wing, looking at Pinkie.
"2 weeks without flying. How I suppose to fly home with broken wing?" Says Rainbow sadly when she walks out of the room.
"Come on Rainbow, Cheer up! You gonna have a pa-arty! And I think when you ask Twilight, she'll let you in her's.
"Egghead? Well, I don't have much choice, do I?"
"I don't think so, sorry Rainbow, I must go. Start to getting up your pa-arty!" said Pinkie cheerily.
"Bye, Pinks." said Rainbow and start make her way out of hospital.
About 10 minutes later, she stands on Twilight's doorstep and knocks on doors.
Doors opened and behind the doors was a purple dragon with green scales.
"Hey Rainbow, what's up?" Said Spike.
"Sky?" joked Rainbow. "Is Twilight home?" Rainbow asked the dragon.
"Yep, She is. Call her?" Spike asks. When Rainbow nodded dragon shout, "TWILIGHT! COME DOWN! RAINBOW IS HERE!"
"Cooomiing" comes from the second floor. Then was a purple flash of light and Twilight was standing beside her assistant, "Hi Rainbow"
" 'sup egghead! I need a place to drop. Will you?" ask Rainbow and show her wing,
"Crash?" Rainbow nodded, "Okay Rainbow, but how long you'll stay?" Twilight asked.
"2 weeks...? I know it's long, but I need only a place to sleep, I can sleep on couch... I will do everything!" said Rainbow quickly.
"It's okay, I will be happy to have you there, come in." Said Twilight and Rainbow enter a library, when she comes to second floor she simply stared, there was a mess, books all around floor.
"Sorry Rainbow today is Re-selfing day, soooo...." Twilight said slowly, "Wait, you said you do everything, right?" said Twilight moments later with a smirk. Then Rainbow's head shoot up.
"No, no, no.... Twiiiliiight." said rainbow with a sign of worry on her face.
"Please Rainbow, with your help it'll be faster and you owe me." say Twilight, while doing her cute face.
After sigh Rainbow said with a bored expression "Ok... I'll do it, but only because I owe you and you're my friend..."
Later that day. Twilight was putting the last book on her position in shelf. Beside her was Rainbow with a heartwarming sign on her face. Twilight put a book on the shelf and Rainbow said loud, "Finally! It took forever. Okay, where I'll sleep?" she said, looking for some place.
"There." Twilight point at the doors, "And we aren't finished yet. Go to loft, there are some books too." said to Rainbow who give her a disbelieving look.
"Really? Ohhh... I thought it was over, okay, let's get over it." said Rainbow a bit annoyedly. Then she went upstairs, loft was kind of small, but after all it was a loft, she found some books. Dash takes them, but something catches her eye. It was a bow, bow with few arrows. She takes a bow and arrows with her downstairs. Rainbow spotted Twilight in 'her' room. The unicorn was preparing a bed for Rainbow with white blanket.
Rainbow said, "Where put these?" Twilight's eyes went up and point at the corner near shelf. Rainbow put books on point Twilight mark and come back to Twilight.
"Twilight? Who's this bow?" said Rainbow with raising eyebrow.
"It used to be brother's, but he didn't know well how to use it, I try few times, he saw me one time and tell me to keep it, then I stop using it. I don't have time for it. You know, study." said Twilight simply with a smirk, Rainbow stares at her, ´Twilight, bow? What? She tried bow?´ she thought.
"Hmmm... Twilight? Will you mind if I try it?" say Rainbow, "I have much more time now."
"No, I won't mind, If you like it, take it, I don't use it so it only lying on loft" Twilight said nicely.
"Geee, Thanks Twi." Rainbow thanked and run (gallop?) outside try use bow. After half of an hour, she was shooting some arrows at targets, but she wasn't very good at it obviously, but she likes it, the bow was a good weapon, ´ This bow is awesome! Why I didn't try it before? ´, she thought and looks at west, it was nice sunset and the beginning of new Rainbow's hobby.
