Apple Bloom looked through the door of room 105 in Ponyville General Hospital. On the bed was lying Pinkie Pie, in critical condition. Apple Bloom slowly stepped toward the bed only to find that Pinkie's hooves were bandaged, as was her chest.

"Pinkie?" Apple Bloom asked, "Are you... are you ok?"

The pink mare stirred before finally saying something.

"Yes..., who is that anyways?"

"It's me," I said with a sigh, "It's me mom."

That made Pinkie freeze in place. "Party? Party Balloon?"

"If that's what my real name is," I told her, "Then yes."

Tears started to roll down her face. "Who told you?"

"Applejack"

"But!" Pinkie complained, "She pinkie promised!!!"

"She figured," I started, "That since you were in here that I should know."

She didn't say anything for a while before I heard her whisper. "I wish I at least could see you." I hadn't even noticed that her eyes were covered!!! 

"Mom?" I asked carefully, "What happened?"

"What do you mean?" She said casually.

"What happened," I said again, "Why are you in here?"

"Sweet heart," Pinkie said as she put a hoof on my head, "Right now, I wish to rest for a little bit... ok?"

"Oh," I said in disappointment, "Ok."

I walked out of the hospital and headed for Ponyville Park. The trees here are pretty, but not as pretty as the ones on the farm. Today must be a busy one because there were ponies everywhere! Must have been a holiday i wasn't told about. I made my way toward the fountain in the middle of the park; it seemed there was nopony there. I was about four feet from it when i bumped into somepony.

"Woa!" The pony said, "Watch where you're going, half-pint!"

"What did you call me?" I asked.

"Sorry," the pony said, "Just a habit of mine."

"I guess i can forgive you," I said after a pause, i soon noticed his wings, "Why are you in Ponyville on the ground if you can fly?"

"Eh, again," He said with a chuckle, "Force of habit. Anyways, i'm Aviator Glider, What's your name?"

I froze. I literally froze in place. I must have turned white or something because he asked if i was all right.

"Yea..." I hesitated, "I'm fine. But, back to my question. Why are you in Ponyville?"

"Oh," Aviator said as you could see that his mood went from lol to serious, "You see... i'm looking for a mare."

"Oh?"

"Yes," He said as he rubbed his right hoof on his left leg, "Her name is Pinkie, Pinkie Pie. Earth pony mare, all pink. Have you seen her?"

What do i do. I can't just blurt out that my mom is in the hospital! What do i do, what do i do! I guess i'll just have to tell him the truth. Wait, i'll just leave out the fact that she is my mom! "Um, Pinkie? As in the party pony pinky?"

"Yea!" His mood lifted for a moment, "Do you know where she is?"

"I wish i didn't have to tell you this," I said as I watched his face fall, "But she is in the hospital right now."

"What?!" He panicked, "What for?!"

"I don't know!" I all most yelled, "Look, you want to see her, or not?"

He hesitated for a moment. "Yes."

"Then follow me."

We walked to the hospital in silence. It was just making me awkward. He wouldn't talk the entire way there, it was obvious he was thinking. We walked inside and right to Pinkie- mom's room. "Wait right here." I told him before i went in. I looked to see that Pinkie was sitting up and a nurse was taking the bandages off of mom's eyes. 

"There," the nurse said, "Good as new! Oh! Apple Bloom! I didn't see you there! I'm afraid only family can visit right now." Pinkie quickly whispered something in the nurses ear. "Oh, i'm sorry. I didn't know. I'll just leave you two alone."

"Mom," I said as i approached her, "There is a stallion here to see you."

"Stallion?" She asked, "what stallion?"

"Let me go get him," I said as i walked toward the door, "You can come in."

I watched mom's face go pale as she saw him walk in. He just stared at her. Suddenly, without warning, he ran to the bed and hugged her. She returned the hug.

"What are you doing here?!" Mom asked as they broke the hug.

"I came to find you."

"But," She said with tears in her eyes, "Why?"

"Because," He said as he hugged her again, "I have been looking for you ever since you left college."

"I had to leave," Pinkie hesitated before she sighed, "I had to leave because i was going to have a foal."

He froze, she pointed at me, there was no sound made from either of us.

"Hi." I said coldly.

"Um..." He hesitated, "I guess I should say thanks."

"For what?" Pinkie asked.

"For forgiving me," he said as he turned to me, "And thank you for bringing me here, hlaf-pint."

I tried to hide a blush but failed, none the less. Is this what a family is? Being reunited again? Who knows what is going to happen next. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
