 The week before


Spike the little dragon, goes up to Twilight. "Hey, Twilight? do you think Rarity would like me better if I grew a moustache with a goatee?" he asked, Twilight just sighed and continued to read her book. Suddenly, Spike burped out a letter. Twilight quickly used her magic to grab the letter.
Dear Twilight sparkle,
I think you are ready to got to this year's wild expedition!
This would be a great experience, it could help you learn something!
You may bring anyone you'd like.
But I hope this means you'll pack necessary things, and not just books.
Also the expedition is a week from now.

Twilight thought about it and thought this might be a good chance for her to use her brand new telescope, her mother gave her for her birthday. She decided to invite her friends the next day.
The next day, Twilight went over to sweet apple acres to see if Apple Jack was able to come. But when she got there, she saw Apple Jack was sick with a cold and couldn't go. Fluttershy couldn't go because she had to take care of Philomena for a day, Rarity didn't want to go because of the mud and  Pinkie Pie couldn't go because she was babysitting Pound cake and Carrot cake. Twilight was about to give up but remembered that maybe RainbowDash could come with her, after all she was adventurous and probably didn't have anything to do besides napping. So she trotted over to the park, searching every cloud. Looking for just any signs of a multicoloured tail or blue fur. Once she spotted RainbowDash, she took a deep breath and yelled, "RAINBOWDASH!!!" and with that RainbowDash jolted from the cloud.
"What is it this time, Twilight?"
"I was wondering if you could come with me to an expedition, a week from now."
"Why not, I don't have plans anyway."
Twilight sighed with relief that at least one of her friends could make it. She was going to trot back to the library, but before she knew it she has already heard some whispers. "Ummm...Excuse me? Would you care to tell me what everypony is talking about?" she asked a two ponies on a bench,"Well, we heard that Prince Blueblood was coming...." said the turquoise unicorn. RainbowDash, who rather heard them talking quickly dashed to Twilight, "What?! That snob who's so called a prince is coming?! If that's true, then I'd rather not find out!" she was about to fly back to the cloud but Twilight has gotten her buy the tail. "Look I don't like it either, but please stick with it" she pleaded,"Fine..."and flew back to the cloud. Twilight happily skipped to the library, excited to go to this legendary expedition
